The question is…why do people LIKE INFPs.

First off, a healthy INFP is going to be self-aware. If they have any toxic traits, they will try their hardest to work on them. Yes, we may be idealistic. But that is not always a bad trait to have. The reason for this is we want to see the good in others. Yes, it can and may lead to becoming people pleasers if we aren't careful. I know I am not perfect. There is not one personality type out there that is perfect. For those who are bashing INFPs, how do you think we are going to respond when you are attacking us personally. That is not selfish of us to stand up for ourselves. We want to understand you're viewpoint, right or wrong it may be. I try to live my life the same way, whether online or offline. What introvert doesn't act one way out in public versus at home? Every introvert I've been around acts the same way. In public, they act quiet and reserved. While at home where, they are comfortable, loud and boisterous. So what is really everyone's issue here? Honestly, it sounds like a lot of commenters on this video also got burned by toxic, unhealthy INFPs (possibly) since INFPS are hard to type and get mistyped a lot.

Ilas an INFP, I cannot agree with the last part. Violence is not ever a thing. The ignore like someone is dead to me, definitely. But I walk out of their life. Never thinking about hurting someone physically in ANY way, no matter what they do.

We are not hated. Admire ourselves - that is a complete joke and I believe a projection of yourself. We have such a harsh inner voice. In addition, we tend to be incredibly easy going and non-judgemental. Just ask anyone that knows us. I find it challenging to believe that you are a legitimate part of Uber Mind. As an INFP i wił not hit like button, because focusing on bad things (and at the same not necessairly true) is beyond my understanding capabilities.

I have watched six videos on this channel so far regarding personality types. There is so much incorrect information that it’s alarming. Of the six videos, three of them were about the INFP personality. I have studied this personality type a lot over the last five or six years and can tell you that these videos do not accurately represent the type.

Your concept of INFP could not be further from the truth and obviously you have come to misunderstand them too. INFPS are generally the most unselfish people thus causes their problems by caring for others TOO much so being the extremely self aware INFP they adjust to life accordingly but sometimes it can be perceived wrong and only furthers their need to distance from others for being hated for the same things they try to rectify in order to find harmony for not just them but others. I cannot believe you painted INFP (the most open hearted of MBTIs) so poorly due to your own poor experiences or perceptions. You are entitled to your own opinions but do not slander an entire personality because you do not understand them please. Infps are empathic and very open minded so they believe others can have the right to speak and feel how they want but often times INFP has a tough time rectifying others perceptions of them because they know trying to explain it will never be understood to close minded individuals so we let it go and only furthers to allow people with these far off notions of us to only grow fuether and further from the accurate representation of who we actually are. Just because you MEET an INFP does not mean you KNOW an INFP. Private people indeed yet social and the confusion of that on others prejudgements of us is not our dilemma to fix, correct, or defend for the ones who ACTUALLY KNOW us can tell you otherwise.
