Polish don't take the knee because Poland never colonialized anyone, was always against any type of oppression since the beginning of the country's existence (the year of 966), and I'm pretty sure that it was the case before that as well, simply because it comes from the peoples' psyche. On top of that, if there was anyone in trouble, Poland always helped, which by the way, can be seen in the recent turn of events - Ukraine. I'm sure that if Germans were in trouble, Poland would help as well, because again, it comes from the nations' psyche. But that's not all. Poland constantly helps developing nations by going onsite, establishing infrastructure for villages in Africa, building schools and hospitals in Africa and Middle East, providing supplies, staffing and training locals, and when the establishments become self sufficient, letting the locals take over. Not too much info on that in the mass media, is there? It's also worth to mention that in 1776, a Polish architect and military tactician, Tadeusz Kosciuszko was given the task of building a fort in America. He chose the site and built West Point, yes THE WEST POINT. He never got paid for it, and when US contacted him about the payment, which naturally was a cosmic amount, he refused with instructions in his will to use the money to buy-out black slaves, set them free and help them to establish with education, employment and whatever needed to live properly. And btw, this was something that he constantly did on his own, while being in America. His wish in the last will was never carried out in US. Poland was always against any kind of slavery or otherwise oppression, verbally and actively. That advice and leading by example was rarely (if ever) listened to, with historical consequences.
