Personal story here for those who should have no doubt this is all true: Had a fiancé that was a college sweetheart, Asian girl from a great family, both of us with an Ivy league education, perfect relationship all around. Even though I was the most amazing boyfriend she ever had in her life, her first love too (she was a virgin), she still cheated and left me. Even though the guy she left me for treated her much worse and was a loser financially, that didn't matter in the moment. I was a blue piller until this happened to me and have since learned the hard lesson with the heartbreak. I am super thankful we didn't get married, have kids, a house, or anything together - but it was close!

I'm in that same boat rn, and I assure you things were so much better when i was taking care of the kids and he worked.. (Altho i am not a feminist). He lost his job and basically fucked up the dynamic and thrust me into this miserable work-n-hustle...i hate it, i have to pay ppl to watch my kid, it sucks.

true... and I would add that it was the traditional mindset - which feminism destroyed with talk of empowerment, freedom from oppressive housework, toxic masculinity etc - that made women focus on helping her man when he was down. Add in traditional social expectations and peer pressure from other traditional women and you have a faithful, helpful wife.

Women back in the days use to warn younger girls about rich guys: "He just wants to sleep with you". This means they were making wiser decisions.
