If you’ve been playing in a worship band or leading a worship team for a long time, it’s easy to get into a funk. We lose our motivation, we dread the next rehearsal and wonder why we even do this in the first place? That’s especially true if we are having a hard time following and respecting the leader we’re under (whether you’re in the band and following the worship pastor or you’re the worship leader following the senior pastor). I have a good friend named Jeff Lee who currently plays electric guitar at one of the Life.Church campuses that recently posted a video on Facebook. His view and perspective on worship ministry comes from decades of experience and is worth watching.
This video covers:
1. What we can learn from each other in worship ministry
2. How to keep a good heart and stay grateful in worship ministry
3. How to respect your pastor when you may not want to
Here’s a link to the original video in its entirety.
