Agreed. I've explained this several times to even my parents. I'm 30, and until I was 18 I was in great health, then many, many things happened, I became disabled, in pain, unable to work, etc. But the thing is before my health crashed, I was very lukewarm. Now that I cannot even pursue worldly things, I instead have become very close to The LORD. I haven't ever been angry at Him for my broken back, nerve disease, memory issues and more. For God to remove satan right away is like pampering a child.

I love how God gives us the freedom of choosing what is right. He never turned his back on us. But yet we do it all the time because of satan. We did not appreciate the perfect realm God gave us so he put us in an impure realm where we have no control no matter how "powerful" we get. "For without me you can do nothing" But God gave us a way to come back. He is the Redeamer. The New Covenant has been established. Sin is the filter to bring those who truly follow God to light. "I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." Have a mind like Job. Give thanks to God in all situations and understand why God puts you to the test. After every trial comes a blessing God has planned for you since your creation. Thank God for this trial and rely upon Him to give you the strength to face the challenge. Like Job, the ones whom keep faith through trial after trail will be blessed abundantly after the Earth is destroyed. Through trials we become mature. In life, through maturity and experiences we realize the suffering our parents have gone through to give us a better life. Life on Earth is the biggest trial we will experience.

All creatures have been given free will, I have set before you light and darkness, life and death, therefore choose life so that both you and your descendents can live. God did not give us a choice thinking "ok im gunna test them, what are they gunna choose?" We have to make a choice since he made us as free will beings. God wants all to choose life and not death, he wanted Satan to choose life, but he did not choose life, why? I believe it is because Satan did not trust God, a foolish thing, since God wants us to choose life. The problem lies at free will, if one does not trust God, they are unable to percieve the truth about how he wants you to choose life and blessings, then you are just lost, and seeking to take an alternative route to Gods due to lack of trust which always leads to destruction. The core of the issue is freedom of choice, there are other variables that play a role like trust for his character for example... but as long as you have free will beings then theres always gunna be some who choose not to trust God, and from that leads to a continuum of poor choices which are, sin, sickness, Desease, poverty, lack, sorrow, sadness and intimately death. Sin leads to death, and whatever is not of faith (trust) is sin. It all starts with a personal trust for the character and nature of God, which was revealed in Jesus.

Wow, this really resonates with the idea that through our suffering we seem to appreciate life more. For example, someone who has battled depression and came out victorious because of his/her reliance on God will treasure life even more. I’m struggling. Ok so he created us and the devil. He smites humans like in sodom but not anymore, but he won’t smite the one that is causing evil. All for his glory? Wouldn’t he be more magnified if we saw him smite the devil and crush sin? And then, we are to be held to this high regard but his own creation doesn’t have to? I just dont understand, because looking at it the way Pastor John does, then God doesnt kill satan for his ego. He did the same woth Job.
