@@yeswe_buy_houses1805 That's because due to YT's monetization rules, only videos that are 5+ minutes long can be monetized. So, something that could take 30 sec or a min to explain and show, we see a 6 min vid on because the channel needs it to be relatively longer to be able to make money from it. Otherwise, YT can't get "ad money" from it.

This worked for me perfectly! Poured vinegar down three different times - first time I did it, I just poured maybe a pint in, let it sit for an hour, cleaned the bowl. It came back again, but to a much lesser degree. Next day poured some more down, let it sit for the hour again, nothing came back. Another reason is that if there is mold in the water part… more likely than not… a member of the family has “unknown” diabetes!! Mold loves sugar! THIS IS A FACT!! For months I hadn’t been feeling good but thought things weren’t so bad. In the meantime, one of our three bathroom toilets kept getting mold down in the water when peeing.. only in the master bathroom. I even called the city thinking they might know… and time kept going on by! Then I got very sick and went to the hospital knowing something had to be really wrong for as sick as I got. I had diabetes and my sugar/glucose level was 649… normal should be from 70-120. I was still wandering about the toilet problem I couldn’t solve! So I went researching, researching and researching!! And low and behold… I found my connection! Stating that undiagnosed and/or uncontrolled diabetes creates my said toilet problem, exactly! Stating “mold love’s sugar” (verbatim)!! I GOT MY DIABETES UNDER CONTROL AND HAVE NOT HAD MOLD IN MY TOILET SINCE!! It has been five months and still no mold… in my toilet water!! Yes, we all can learn something new everyday!! Pass this on! Originally from Long Island NY, 22 yrs living in Florida now has been a constant battle with mold. It took me at least 6 months researching, to finally find out that mold grows roots into wood and natural organic things. I kept cleaning and it kept coming back. I washed my walls and everything with bleach. Sprayed my air conditioner with bleach, nothing worked, it just grew back. Finally I learned about the growing roots and finally that vinegar kills mold. I also have a uvc light bulb and a dehumidifier now. I have this exact problem with my toilet also ! I’ve been in this same apartment for 19 years now and had the whole back of the toilet tank black with mold 3 times. I’ve scrubbed it out 3 times , last time with oxiclean. I was thinking about the vinegar but didn’t know how to remedy the rim. Finally I asked a plumber and he said “pour whatever in the overflow pipe.” I haven’t done it yet, but I’m so happy to see confirmation that this is what to do ! Even the comments answered my questions about vinegar won’t rot the toilet parts because vinegar comes in plastic. I did find “Cleaning Vinegar” at Walmart for 2.39 a half gallon so I’ve bought a few to use for this. (It warns don’t breathe the fumes, it’s not edible vinegar). Sheesh ! You need an education about mold, it’s been so difficult to find out this information… Blessings all ! Thank you so much for this video!

Fellow Floridian here. It's very humid here, but you really should not be getting mold on the walls inside your house. Your AC should be removing the humidity. I'd have a professional check your AC and I'd call a mold cleaning professional. You will need a professional to remove it completely, and they'll also be able to tell you where it's coming from. You should also be getting your AC cleaned too every once in a while to prevent mold and debris being distributed through the vents (more than just spraying with bleach). If it's not the AC, your house may have had flood damage before you got it, some water leaks, or insulation problems. I would look at a dehumidifier in the meantime, one with a drain and not a tank so you don't have to empty it multiple times a day. To be clear: mold outside is definitely a Florida thing, but inside is a problem with the house itself. It can cause so many health problems, and I wish you luck in getting it taken care of.

One reason this happens is because there are mineral deposits on the bowl. Gunk sticks to these deposits and mold grows on the gunk. Vinegar can help clean mineral deposits… but often will not get them all…. Especially with heavy deposits, What works is a pumice stick. Use this to grind away the deposits . Interestingly… pumice stone is harder than the deposits, but softer than the toilet. Gets out toilet rings too

Be aware that there's eating vinegar, which is like 2%, and industrial cleaning vinegar which is like 30%. The latter kills mold *way* better, but the smell of vinegar will be overwhelming. Like, buy a respirator overwhelming. Like, if the room doesn't have windows, don't expect to use that toilet for a few days. But if you get mold on your walls, use industrial vinegar and let it dry before trying to paint over it.

I live in a hot area and the water in the tank gets warm and really smells. I tried everything, once I figured out where that terrible smell was coming from. So far the only thing I found to really clean it is Oxiclean washing machine cleaner with odor blasters. It says use it in hot water so I put half packet in a mason jar with hot water and dissolve it first.

The concentration of vinegar available in stores: 3% food grade, 5% household cleaning. The maximum concentration is approximately 30% and it's called acetic acid and it is not available for sale to the general public. Vinegar is great for so many things. Even letting it sit in the toilet over night for nasties that are stubborn too. Push as much water out of the toilet as you can w a plunger and fill it with a gallon. I think too doing a daily tank and bowl soak would help keep up on the mold, you don’t need the whole gallon just 1/4 cup split between the two, no scrubbing until when it’s obvious

I literally just got done scrubbing the mildew from my toilet bowl yesterday. I had never noticed it before, because you can’t see it from within the bathroom, only from a distance when walking by. It’s so high up under the rim, that you have to be at a distance and crouching down slightly to notice it. I left the bathroom door open (I usually don’t), and I noticed it while walking to the kitchen. I was horrified. What a coincidence that this video should show up in my recommendations when I didn’t even google anything about it. Sometimes I think my google home listens to my conversations. 😏

Some water is “harder” (has more minerals) than others. Of the various minerals commonly found in water, iron is one of them… your water has a relatively high iron content, that’s why you’re the rust stains. It’s perfectly normal, and vinegar can help you to get rid of them as well.

From your Publix bleach, I’m guessing you might live in Florida like I do. Mold is such a constant issue in the southeastern U.S. I feel like I’m always fighting it, whether it’s in my toilets or more so outside on fences, walls, and other structures. Vinegar helps a lot, as well as bleach. A good thing to invest in for outside though is a pressure washer. Or for inside a steam cleaner. And for indoor spaces that build up moisture, a dehumidifier or quick fix items like Damp Rid. But mold and mildew are just things you have to deal with in certain regions.
@papajoeknows8355

Haha, Publix. Yes, Florida here, good call. But it wasn’t bleach, it was vinegar. A lot of people don’t realize that bleach doesn’t really kill mold very well, it more bleaches it out so you get that immediate gratification. Vinegar does actually kill it though, just takes a day or so for the color to go away. Same with outdoors, always battling mold, mildew, algae in our part of the country.
