you should react to the documentary called quiet on set: the dark side of kids tv it’s covering the emotional and sexual abuse suffered by child actors on Nickelodeon in the mid 1990s and early 2000s. It’s a real heartbreaking story I’ve been watching this podcast that a former Nickelodeon child actor started she also opened up about her time working on a show called Zoey 101 and what she went through.

You gotta think about it like a narcissist. He’s thinking “Oh, you’re yawning? So you’re bored? You’re bored being with me in front of my friends? You’re making my friends think something about me is boring?” Now he’s mad. My mom used to get mad like that because she felt like every little thing me and my sister did was a direct reflection on her as a mother. Like if we were at someone’s house and we ate too much or asked for food in front of her, she took that as we were telling people that she didn’t feed us. Then we’d get yelled at and hit.

Just thought you should know that Maya Angelou and Cicely Tyson are giants in the African American community. Maya Angelou was a laureate, poet, author and civil rights activist (she was featured on Oprah a few times as she was one of her favourite writers. Cicely Tyson was an award winning, critically acclaimed actress in film and theater, noted for her vivid portrayals of strong African American women.

Me either. I think they are just trippin'. The content is good and the deep meaning messages are even better. I just think some folks aren't intelligent enough to get the full understanding. I think I understand why the dislike of his material. The first thing is crossdressing/gay thing. That was the first thing my brother noticed the first time he saw it. I didn't even notice. But secondly and more important is the way he portrays black men in a negative light. I watch his material for a long time but I have noticed at home black men in a negative light thing.
@MilileMaguma
@MilileMaguma 3 ай бұрын
@@alejandroacosta1227 Firstly, crossdressing is not a "gay thing", I am gay and I don't cross dress. The people that usually wear dresses are males who grow up feeling like they are females on the inside and express it on the outside by dressing the part, they're called TRANS (eg. Bruce Jenner turned Caitlyn Jenner). With regards to the Tyler playing Madea, it's part of acting, actors have to wear certain costumes & attire to depict a particular character, there's nothing gay about it. Gay is a sexuality, not what you wear. Plus I've never heard people complain when Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire) & the Wayans Bros did it. Y'all just have a problem with Tyler. Secondly, movies &/T.V depicts reality and if men are trash (which had a whole hashtag going worldwide), then men are trash and we will show what happens in our societies. What I love in the movies though is that Tyler always has solutions & lessons to learn in the end. Thirdly, there are good men in every Tyler movie, infact more than the bad men, but no one ever makes reference to them or commends them. We always want to point out the bad/rotten apples. There are bad women that follow the wrong path & do foul things while having great men beside them in Family that preys, Why did I get married, Temptation, Madea goes to jail, Daddy's little girls, Good Deeds & I can do bad all by myself. However I've never heard women complaining. In Diary of a mad black woman, there's one black man who messes with a good woman (which is what happens in reality, men often leave a good woman for the new and shiney trophy) and then there's a good man on the other side (the U-Haul driver) who is good to her in all aspects. This alone tells you there's a balance but all of you choose to focus on the one character. In Madea's Family reunion, there's one awful man who abuses his woman (which is a whole pandemic in reality eg. Gender Based Violence Movement) then there's a plethora of good men including Brian (Madea's Nephew) and the bus driver. Then there are two awful woman, the horrible mother who pimps her own daughter, then there's Brian's wife who goes down a bad path of drugs and in Daddy's little girls, there's another awful women who dates a drug lord, has no time for her three young daughters instead uses one to sell drugs at school and verbally and physically abuses them. Where's the "portraying men in a negative light" there?, coz what I see is a good man (played by Idris Alba) who has a decent job and takes care of his three young daughters. However No one ever talks about that. This goes to show that people see what they want to see and never what is. Stop following the noise and dissect things on your own and if you don't like Tyler so much then stop watching his movies, find something you like and stop poisoning us!

@@MJWITHOUTSPIDERMAN Hi Michelle, My name is Chris or simply known as TheChrisminator19 on KZfaq, I want to talk to you about your movie reaction to the movie of "Madea's Family Reunion" when it got released in 2006. I wasn't pleased about everything that Madea and everyone did was completely uncalled for when this happen. I find the scenes to be bad and awful. Here are the ten reasons that I find the movie to be bad when you did your reaction on your KZfaq channel way back in March. #1. Carlos was accusing Lisa by bringing a cop to their house after he slapped her in the face which actor Blair Underwood did at her at the 6:01 minute mark. It was their mutual friend who did this. But her mutual friend brought the cop into their house anyway. You can hear Lisa tells her that she didn't want a cop to come over to do something sexy to her because she was going to marry Carlos. Her mutual friend told her, "It doesn't matter, whether you like It, or not". I noticed she was trying her best to tell Carlos that she didn't do it. But he orders her to shut up that he doesn't care if she didn't bring a cop into their home. It ends where he orders her to fix her hair as he walks away with his anger because he was mad over the fact that the cop did something nasty to her. As I said, Her mutual friend did it. Not Lisa. #2. Madea was slapping Nikki in Brian's car when she was being asked to stop popping her gum because it is extremely annoying. You can hear Nikki telling Madea that she is not going to stop chewing and says that she can chew her gum whenever she wants as she continues by popping the gum in her mouth. We do see Brian was doing his best to make Madea to stop slapping Nikki. Madea orders Brian to shut up because it was a personal thing for herself, Not for Brian. It ends as she continues to beat Nikki up to make her to stop popping her gum. Again, Brian orders her to stop because she is hurting her. But Madea didn't care as she orders him to be quiet. Brian tells her "no". He could've said that when he was mad that she was hurting Nikki. #3. When Lisa talks to her mother Victoria at a fancy restaurant (Lynn Whitfield) that Carlos is abusing her and was being a rude person to be with. She was shocked after Victoria said, "You must stop doing what you're doing to make him angry." Lisa was shocked and didn't understand about the comment that her mother made. She asked her why did she say that for. Her mother had no comment to tell her because it was none of her business. So why did she say that to her daughter for? I didn't find her comment to be great. #4. Madea attacks the teenage boy (Dale Neal) on the school bus when she orders all of the kids to leave Nikki alone because she told Madea that she always gets picked on when she goes to school. And that's where we see the scene where the teenage boy orders her to shut up as he called her "old lady" with his anger at her. The female bus driver could've stopped Madea as she orders her to leave the boy alone. Madea orders the female bus driver to shut up as she continues her beating the boy up. And yes, She orders the female bus driver it was none of her business. The female bus driver tells her it was her business. Madea tells her it was not her business to get involved and orders her to shut up again. You noticed that actress Keke Palmer was doing her best to not break into character when she was watching her beating the teenage boy up. As Madea exits the school bus, She threatens the boy again if he picks on Nikki again. I think this scene was so bad when Madea attacked the boy. And yes, I was so angry when he tells her to shut up and calling her "old lady" which pissed Madea off. Do you agree? #5. At the 21:48 minute mark, I want to form you about this scene that you are reacting to, It is shocking and disturbing after Blair Underwood screamed, "Do you want to leave me" at actress Rochelle Aytes. Her husband CJ Lindsey would never do that to his wife in real life because they are married. And yes, They have no children. In that scene, Lisa was going to pack her stuff because she really had enough by being abuse by him. She could've done it when he's at work. He was doing his best to say he was sorry for being a horrible boyfriend. But he wasn't sorry, He went into rage when he shouted the line out loud. He really terrified to her when he screamed, "Do you want to leave me?" when he asked her a question. She could've said, "Yes Carlos, I am leaving you and I am not coming back. You just scared the crap out of me when you screamed out loud." But Carlos didn't care. He was going to toss her out of the balcony of their home if she doesn't leave him. She has to leave him because he was a horrible boyfriend. #6. Vanessa became really upset with Frank over the fact that he had taken her kids out for ice cream without asking her permission. I was going to think she was going to break up with him when she was hitting him with her anger after he took her kids out for ice cream after they took a nap. This was the same technique just like the movie of "Look Who's Talking" in 1989 where James (John Travolta) takes Mikey (voiced by Bruce Willis) to see his grandfather (the late actor Abe Vigoda) at the hospital without asking Mollie (the late actress Kristie Alley). Mollie was furious as they came back. So did she break up with him? No, She didn't break up with him, She accepted his apology and he tells her that it will never happen again. #7. Lisa told her sister Vanessa that Carlos was abusive and was hurting her. That's when Victoria comes in to the scene as Vanessa tells Victoria that Carlos is hurting her sister. Victoria told her that she doesn't care. She told her that Carlos is not a abusive man to her sister. At one point, I saw her clap her hands with her anger into Vanessa's face as she says, "Do you see this, Do you see this Vanessa, This is me giving Carlos a round of applause when he said, "Do you want to leave me" with his anger at your sister because I don't care when he did that." And yes, She is coming to Carlos's defense. #8. They were about to have a big fight at the family reunion just before the late Maya Angelou rang the bell at the empty shed to get everyone's attention so they can all hear Cecily Tyson's speech. I imagine that Victoria didn't want to hear Myrtle's speech because she wants to fight with Vanessa who is still upset that she doesn't want to believe Vanessa's story that Carlos was abusing her sister Lisa. That's when May told Victoria "no" that she is not going to do that. She wants her to have peace with her daughters and wants her to listen to Myrtle's speech. Again, Victoria told Aunt May "no" that she doesn't want peace. #9. You skipped the scene is where Madea orders Victoria to shut up after Victoria became upset when she finds out that Lisa was cancelling the wedding after beating Carlos up at Madea's house. I noticed she kicks him in the groin area for the final time as she says, "That's for screaming at me with your anger when you said, "Do you want to leave me." I imagine that Victoria tells Madea "no" that she is not going to shut up because she is very upset that the wedding was cancelled. She orders Lisa to go back to her house and get ready to marry Carlos. I was angry when Madea said that at actress Lynn Whitfield. So I imagine that I will play Nikki's boyfriend as I hit Madea in the head with my anger as I am telling her not to tell Victoria to shut up. I order Madea to apologize to Victoria. Victoria will say, "Yeah Madea, What the boy say, You owe me an apology for shutting me up. So I am not going to shut up when I found out that the wedding has been cancelled." I was going to get worried they were going to make an alternate ending for this movie is where Carlos will grab Lisa by her ankle as he says, "Oh no you don't, You are not going anywhere. You are going to marry me when you like it or not." And also, Madea made a weird story that she had shot Tupac. First of all, That is not true. That was one of the stupidest comments that I had ever heard. Why would she say that for? And #10. Madea spanks at Nikki in front of Joe (which was also played by Tyler Perry). Joe orders her to stop spanking at Nikki because it was extremely annoying to him. Madea orders Joe to shut up as she explains the reason she was giving Nikki a spanking because she was being a naughty girl. So she orders Joe to shut up and to turn away because it was none of his business as Madea tells him as she continues her beating to Nikki. But Joe refuses to mind his business because he was being serious as he asked her to stop hitting Nikki. Again, Madea tells Joe to shut up again. She even said, "Don't you dare tell Brian about this because it's none of his business as well." She didn't want Joe to tell Brian. I do apologize for making this long message. I was making my point about the scenes. Hope you will be able to read the whole thing. Thanks for your time. PS, I decided to subscribe your channel. Be sure to subscribe to me if you are interest to do it. Thanks again!

I think it's an all to real story that happens way too many times. In some of those relationships, the other gets broken down so much that they feel they don't deserve real love. Most generations grew up thinking if you have everything materialistic that things will be fine. Not knowing what keeps a relationship strong is the love, respect, kindness, and empathy, which is what it takes to keep a relationship strong.

well what I was trying to say is I just find it kind of odd how in a lot of his movies, women have to go through some kind of trauma to have a happy ending... i dont see men going through much lol thats all i was saying.

He has said he watched/experienced abuse from his father (allegedly). He doesn't hate women. He hates men, alpha men especially. Look at his movies/plays. It's always some no good man manipulating/abusing a woman some kind of way. Bro hated his dad so much that when he turned 18 he dropped his last name and used his middle name as his last name. Basically he's showing us what he endured as a child allegedly at his father's hand.

I guess that does make more sense if you view it from the other side. Seems more like pent up trauma he hasn’t dealt w I presume.
