@@ricotalkheavy8133anytime you enter a space and you have to enter through a door make sure you hold him back and you enter first… letting them know you are the leader… also do leash training and keep him at your side and treat him whenever he walks by yourside without pulling. Theyll naturally start to look at you for direction.

I don't mind that my 2 dogs follow me... EXCEPT I'm extremely ADD so I'm constantly turning on a dime because I forgot to grab something. And every time I turn around, no matter what direction 1 or both are still in my way. I lose things several times a day so I'll walk from room to room, they follow me the entire time. I love them and that they love me so much but ughhhh some days its so aggravating. 😫 Plus you'd think they'd get bored walking in circles with me 10 times a day!😆

I agree Deborah my dog follows me everywhere but when I look in his eyes I see love for me and I respond likewise with my eyes. Sometimes we can just over analyse something that is meant to be felt.

I had a stray I adopted that followed me everywhere. If I went up and down the steps 15 times, he would go up and down 15 times as well. I used to refer to him as my shadow too. :)

We have a rescue from age 1 year old. She was chained outside to a trailer for most of her first year. The day she came to our home, and was free to run, she ran for joy and bonded with us on the first day! No more life outside & alone. They know more than people think. Luna knew she was home. Now at age 9, she always wants to be near her people. And she waits for us when we go to work keeping a watch inside the house. We are grateful every day for her life with us. It's about the LOVE. I can't imagine a dog being chained up. for the most part our dog is free to roam the house, jump on furniture - we have a pug.

My pug has followed me around for 10 years i can’t even go swimming in the pool without him, he will bang on the gate till you let him in, then he jumps onto his boogie board and then dives into the pool. To be honest, he likes to go in the pool with everyone. He’s cheeky but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

She’s protecting the pack leader. She’s doing her job. She thinks she has a job. Dogs have jobs to do in the pack structure, they take their job very seriously. They are earning their keep in the pack.

@@botdavid323 ive somehow taught them how to do it cuz if i leave my bedroom door open and the bathroom door open (cuz they're right across each other) they can just take a look at the direction im going left = bathroom, right = going downstairs, if right = they follow me around to make them go outside

My doggo Chai sleeps on my feet at my desk, waits outside of the bathroom and sleeps on top of my pillows. She’s 7 months old & nudges her backpack when she sees me put shoes on to go anywhere (her backpack is packed like a baby bag 😂) I wouldn’t change a thing about her ! She’s made life so much more relaxing :)

One of my dogs is a rescue from a backyard breeder that I adopted when he was about 6 yrs old. He must have me in his line of sight at all times. Even if I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, here he comes....peeking around the corner of the door to make sure I'm still here! And then coming into the room with me for more neck scratches. It really is cute & he's such a sweet dog considering his miserable life before coming to live with me!

I've had MANY dogs and cats over the years and they have ALL followed me where ever I went in the house. One time I climbed a pull-down ladder to go up into the attic. While up there looking for whatever it was, in a little bit all THREE of my cockers had climbed the ladder and was up there with me. One evening I was walking my dogs (3) on a leash and just happened to look behind me and both of my cats were following me, as well. They wouldn't follow my husband anywhere though. Hahahaha

I don’t think you saw my post from 3 years ago when I told you thank you. I used the 5 herbs and oils on my dog because she had cancer. They told us it was an aggressive cancer and we needed to start traditional treatment right away. We decided to try the stuff you were using for your other dog. Long story short she no longer has cancer, she’s still alive and we never went the traditional route. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

They follow us everywhere because they love us and they want to be near us and I wouldn't have it any other way. The happiest parts of my life have been because of my dogs. Dogs are a blessing in this life and if you are lucky enough to have one or two or three or however many you can, just enjoy them and cherish every minute, even when they are right under your feet. Sadly they are only here with us for such a short time and when they are gone you will so miss not having them right there with you. God bless all the animals, especially dogs and all the wonderful people who love them!!

Lol... yeah Ive got 6 that follow me everywhere... 3 full blood Border Collies ...3 Border Collie/Blue Heeler cross ... so Ive got’n used to constant surveillance... 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ it was one thing when we took care of 500 hd of cattle... but now 6 unemployed cow dogs... it’s intense 🤣😂👍👏🏼🥰🙏😇 they are my best friends hands down 💖💖💖💖💖💖u might say Im top dog in my pack....😉

My Maltese Annabelle, was a puppy mill dog that I rescued 2 years ago and was afraid of EVERYTHING. After 2 years of patience and love, she now follows me everywhere when she's awake. Annabelle is food driven, hoping I'll feed her Everytime I pass the fridge. But I know she loves me from the howls I get when I come home.

Hi Dr. Jones, my (3 yr. old) deer head chihuahua, Sunny, follows me everywhere, too. He is so smart and quiet (no barking unless he thinks there is an intruder) and usually knows by my actions what or when I am going outside or in the kitchen fixing food (he waits at the entrance of the kitchen looking to see if food is for him). I feel lucky to have him in my life. 💖👍

When we first got our dog she cowered in the far end opposite us because she had been severely abused. Over a few months she warmed up to us and now sometimes sleeps at the foot of our bed and follows us around a lot. We love her like our daughter

I lost my shadow and best friend to cancer last month. Tillie was a 9 year old mini long haired doxie who we raised from 8 weeks old. We had the same kind of bond as you and Tula, so much so that she somehow knew when I had cancer and needed her extra attention during the treatment. She would lie on or next to me, bringing comfort and smiles. She also knew a day before our plans to go somewhere, and would not leave me out of her sight. My wife called her my 'shadow'. We even tried spelling certain words that got her excited like boat, bye-bye, and camping but she still knew it. It was on her last day that I came to realize this connection was truly symbionic... she told me it was her time and needed me to be her best friend to end the pain. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do but grateful she helped me through it. Some people believe that animals have no souls and try to explain this strong bond with scientific explanations like imprinting, positive reinforcement, breeding, anxiety, etc. I believe animals do have souls and some can love unconditionally without words... all you have to do is look into their eyes. My cat Ellie does the same to me. She was rescued from a tin can, her head was stuck in it for two days. She was freed not by me but others and we said we would have her. The only time I get a break is when she's asleep like now. When I'm on my laptop she hunkers down on me as I struggle to use it. But she's a lovely cat and I wouldn't change her ways for the world.

Love and happiness. My 6 year old lab mix follows me around too, very often wagging her tail. I think she’s a happy dog. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. She has slept at the foot of my bed her entire life. When I come home from work she expects me to play with her which I always do. I took care of her as a puppy and she is definitely “my” dog, as my wife calls her lol.

They follow us because they are bonded with us and want to be near us. And I’m sure curiosity plays a roll, especially if they think there might be something in it for them at our destination. That’s what I’ve observed over my 59 years with multiple dogs almost always. Mainstream science has lied from the beginning. Ignore what they promote. I was taught in school that dogs could not think or feel, and only responded through instinct. I was only seven years old and I knew they were peddling lies.

The picture is so cute! Makes it so much better for me right now! I love my "stalkers" - lol that is what I called them! Sometimes it is so much that I turn and say loudly -- omg stop stalking me you two -- ha as if...then sometimes I am in small kitchen doing food stuff, and they are so quiet just laying there, sleeping and I had no idea when they came in!!! I love them.

My dog doesn't follow me everywhere but she needs to have me in her sight at all time. If she wakes up and I'm not where I was she comes looking. But she doesn't have separation anxiety as I can leave her home and she always laying watching the door when I walk in.

My little maltipoo mix follows me all day every where I go. I call her my little shadow. I’ve had her since she was 3mos, now she’s three yrs old and still is my shadow. I don’t mind, I love her to pieces. She use to cry when I leave her at home, but now we have two more dogs terrier mix and she’s fine with being left home for a few hours. Pack animals. We are there pack. My Great Pyramids mix was our herder. He had to work hard taking care of us. We called Irwin our watch dog. He had an internal clock and a strick internal schedule. He would smile and lightly bark telling us to go to bed, that we were up too late on a Saturday night. Like a little secretary or nanny. Great dog.

I have a 17 year old paralyzed deaf pug. He is a love and doing quite well for his age. We never leave him alone anymore, but he howls at the door when I am gone, so I so appreciate his need to be near me at all times, and I try to grant his wishes and have dog beds near every place I sit so he can scoot around the house and stay near me at all times. I even take him to the dentist and keep my foot on his head so he feels my foot and he does well. Thank you for your great video.

I didn’t get my dog till she was two, and she hates being away from my husband. She loves me too, but he is definitely number one. She does have a lot of anxiety problems because she was not treated right when she was little. Now that she is treated like the princess she is, she doesn’t want to let us out of her sight. She’s only a little spoiled, but considering the bad start she had in life, she deserves it lol

I have a little 11 month old pug puppy called Poppy. She always follows either myself or my wife around. It can get annoying especially when she scratches on the bathroom door or when you are trying to cook and you don't want her to get splattered with oil or accidentally step on her but for the most part it's really cute especially when she bolts up the stairs.

Two of my dogs are dachshund and corgi, both of which are not bred for companionship but they follow me everywhere. I vote for imprinting. And love.

My dog follows me, too! But what's hysterical is- cats do, too! Yes! I go into the powder room, my Eskie follows me in the small potty room. Then, the bigger dog, wants in. He comes in & lays down on the floor. Then, there's cat #1,with her paw under the door, pulling it towards herself, jiggling it. I sigh. 3 pals in the 'loo with me. 3 life guards to fish me out incase I fall in!

I think there's just Velcro & nosey. Doc. Plus, we're pals. Have 3 Barn cats; they listen to me better than the farm dogs! My "round up kitties" follow me way out to the hill where the horses are everyday, then follow me back into the barn. If I'm cleaning the barn or working outside, there are the kitties, right with me. Checking out what I'm doing. 😄

My GreatDane follows me everywhere. I call him my guardian, he will even sqeeze into my tiny bathroom.....lol....He is sooo big he cannot turn aeound in there he has to back out cuz the room is so tiny. But he will never give up he is always eight behind or eight beside me. I love him . Its okay,he can follow me wherever he wants

I think it's called LOVE. Your pet follows you because she or he loves you and TRUST you. I believe that goes pretty much for everyone. My cat follows me everywhere too. Every time our pets come to us, we great them with a warm friendly hello stroking them a little. Pets love that. Pet feel love when we behave in a loving way. If by any chance that a pet would happen to have some anxiety and that is the reason a pet follows its owner, it's because the pet TRUST the owner and FEEL SAFE with the owner. *+ Animals have thoughts, emotions and feelings like us human beings. +* I love your videos. I have 4 dogs and they all follow me around! All 4 follow me to the bathroom at times but my Ladybug a beagle/collie mix will not let me out of her sight! I've had her since a puppy but she was about 4 mnths old when I got her, and didn't have the best start in life! Her first family didn't feed her correctly and kept her locked in the laundry room! So I ask them if I could have her and & they said yes,&we have been side by side ever since! Great video I subscribed!!

I have a 12 year old Australian Labradoodle . EVERYWHERE I go he goes. When I sit down to have tea he It’s down with his head on his paws but he is always watching me and listening. He is my joy and I love having him around me ALLthe time even in the bathroom!🤪
