Dune: Part 2 introduces a number of new characters to this epic sci-fi universe, but perhaps none more important than Austin Butler’s Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. As if Timothee Chalamet’s Paul Atreides didn’t have enough enemies already, now he’s forced to face off with the heir apparent of House Harkonnen.

Dune: Part 2 also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, Javier Bardem, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux. The film releases in theaters on March 1, 2024.

No he's not. Paul's true worst nightmare was always about HIS influence on the universe rather then that from other people. Getting killed by Feyd-Rautha itself is but a picnic in the park compared to the true "bad-ending" he saw in his "prescient dreams". It's the consequences of it that scares him.

Actually both Paul Atreides and Feyd Rautha Harkonen would make excellent guest characters in a Mortal Kombat Game DLC.

Feyd is not Paul’s worse nightmare. Unless you think an ant is something to fear. At no point could Feyd ever defeat Paul. If Paul had been fighting as Usul Maud’dib. Instead of Paul Atreides. The fought would have ended in seconds. The character everyone should fear the most is The Baron. Even Feyd was terrified of him. It wasn’t Feyds idea to kill his uncle. It was Thufir Hawat whispering in Feyds ear. Telling him how he could successfully kill his uncle. Also Gurney and Ducan Idaho were better swordsman then Feyd. The Atreides army was on par with Emperor Shaddam Sardaukar. With the influence that Duke Leto had with the other Great Houses. Is the very reason why Emperor Shaddam worked with the Harkonnen to over take his cousin. Some of what this narrator said is accurate. Some of it was a little off.

I'm not sure what Feyd is supposed to stand for, but Rautha sounds like rauta ("iron" in Finnish) and of course the name Harkonnen is from Härkönen (surname derived from härkä "bull").

The Bene Gesserit put as much work and time into Feyd Rautha as they did into Paul Atreides. But Paul is not supposed to exist. Jessica ruined Feyd's wedding and everything else.
