This is honestly sad. Those "friends" are absolutely vile and she really needs cut ties. People like this are always looking to tear down women like Selena, especially if they think they can step on her to get ahead.

I really do hope that she’ll be able to have more supportive people in her life. She’s such a sweet person. They are secretly horrible people. This is why I like to analyze and read into things because people sometimes have built up hatred that they portray within friendships but try to play it off as a joke.

at least selena always has taylor. i just found out taylor wrote dorothea about selena and with lyrics like: “You got shiny friends since you left town A tiny screen's the only place I see you now And I got nothing but well wishes for ya” and “It's never too late To come back to my side” and “And if you're ever tired of being known For who you know You know, you'll always know me” it just goes to show how much taylor genuinely cares about selena even when they grow apart.

It's so hard to just cut ties with people especially at her level because they will 100% be petty and try to ruin her image by spreading rumours, lies and might even share personal details that are no one else's business.

I had the BEST friends in highschool. We never cared about anything but each other. I am almost 40 now and they still are there when I need them. We were all lower class and appreciated everything we had especially each other. I think money and affluence can effect you in all the wrong ways. I remember crying after blocking them on everything and it’s was literally the worst yr of my life and after that I’m glad I left that toxic group cause they weren’t helping me grow and I actually get to be completely myself so I’m in a better place mentally and emotionally

Tbh i don't like selena or check for her but this is very sad, these types of friendships will ruin you and mess with ur self conscious, it's easy for people to say "she should just cutt them off" but it's hard walking away from friendships and it's hard to know someone for so long and have them by ur side everyday even if they aren't really on ur side and then they are just gone. I hope that eventually she finds other/better company but for now i think she's just afraid of being alone.

Selena should not be friends with anyone that’s not on the same rank as she is, that goes for everyone. Even if you do become friends with someone on the same rank, still have to be careful. Some people are just so jealous and deceitful.

Last year I cut ties with all of my HS acquaintances. They were toxic and shared info I said in private to only 1 individual. She opened her mouth and everyone found out. Made me regain trust issues after months of counseling it was awful. People like that don't care about you and some people learn that quickly and some stay in those situations until it implodes. She needs better people around her who aren't connected to her ex and his wife that is a NO-NO. She is one of the only celebs I really truly feel sorry for, you can see it in her eyes the pain she's gone and is going through. I know that pain all too well and when I see others with that same aura its heartbreaking. She needs to distance herself and get over needing people around at all times. Some people are not comfortable with being alone and it's not healthy not knowing how to do things just by yourself.

I'm happy she has Taylor she's her bestest friend and Francia Raisa and Camila.

I’ve been close with a girl for a long time but she didn’t let our friendship naturally grow, she would force aspects to make it the perfect image of a friendship. I wasn’t feeling it. So I told her I’m going to need to end it because she was not willing to give me time and space. Once I let her go, I felt free in a way.
