I mean, Whew Chile. Look at How many kids or those young/teen couples channel that are now pregnant. If you have seen theshaderoomteens, So many of those young couples broken up, and became so toxic. While the Girl is pregnant.. it's ridiculous. Everyone wants a "mini me", even on my snap I see it. Everyone wants someone "who could represent them", not understanding every baby has a personality that may be different than yours. They be in the worst relationship ever, no communication skills, no respect for one another. Yet has a baby. Look at Dani Leigh & Dababy. I fear for this generation with a lot things.

@@Anne-MarieJ Right! Thats why I restrict myself from having children sometimes, and my parents especially my father supports that a lot of times because he tells me, it's a huge responsibility. No time for yourself, theirs always a little one following you, your bank account Is flooded with having so much things to buy & pay for...etc it's a lot and it takes a toll on a lot of people. That's why mothers sucide, and post partum depression is increasing by the second... It's too much, for one person let alone having many kids. Everything you do, Literally you have to do it for your child. And with how dangerous the world is, and how it keeps going. I don't think children are the best thing to happen right now. Sometime I think it's selfish to bring a child into this evil, cruel world just for the sake of your own happiness. But you know that's just my opinion, and I can't just completely say & think that because one day "as everyone say I may change my mind", and I don't want to be seen as a hypocrite for what I said. Also the system is not good, and too much children are being killed, raped, assaulted, beaten..etc by the system. There's just a lot of factors on why I restrict having children sometimes...

First of all, i live the pixi cut. Secondly, the fetishisation of hijabi women is a thing that I'm only now starting to see. There are so many sinister undertones to the sexualisation of hijabs and those who choose to wear it. Being a hijabi myself, i can say that the whole point of wearing the head scarf is to remove that aspect of sexuality, and adds a layer of privacy. So when it is presented in a way that is overtly sexual, it doesn't really make sense to me. And it's scary how the industry will take anything and connect it to sexuality just because the 'basic' stuff doesn't work anymore.
@katie5998

Exactly. People want to sexualize everything, even things that are supposed to make the individual feel safe/have an aspect of privacy. Girl you are so right, Kpop really has begun to move away from the thing that drew me in, the language and unique sound to their music. The unique sound and language is still there. The people who think it isn't are most definitely those people who only listen to BTS or BLACKPINK. So, I see why people may say this. But K-pop is a whole @ss industry. If we exclude BTS and BLACKPINK, the music is still there. There are many artists and groups who make absolutely amazing music and represent their culture pretty well, but they aren't jus popular as these two big groups. So, you need to dig a bit deeper. There are some people like myself who cannot afford high end brands and cannot thrift coz there is literally no option where I live. H&M and ZARA are considered high-end brands in India or atleast among the people i know. Meanwhile the rich influencers all over the world doing shein hauls and following this awful trend of “never repeating clothes for the insta grid” is what is truly harmful. I think Liam Payne is kind of lost in his solo career and he knows the fans like it when he talks about the band and that’s why he’s the one talking the most about One Direction, but AS HE SHOULD tbh he was part of one of the biggest music sensation in the world, he has every right to be proud of it and miss it and talk about it all he wants He also said it almost killed him tho, I invite everyone to watch his interview with Steve Bartlett, he’s very vulnerable in it, he talks about what really happened and how he feels about everything

Literally everybody at the end of the day is a freaking critic and has different motives he end up doing the thing that he said he wanted with her. And she was just an underage child it's really sad. But yes I do agree with you people really should start practicing what they preach more. There's been a lot of Unholy Justified things done out of the name of Christianity but if we're going to come for the whole religious system of belief we need to talk about spiritual belief I don't think it's the same opinion negative views as Christianity and I believe everybody can be their self however I do think people place their own habit views on spirituality and it became a gray area of black and white for them than actually reading between the fine lines.

A note ab singing & belting: basically yelling is frequently mistaken as a “belt” especially when coming from a singer with a half decent tone: they can push the sound forward out of their nose + mouth, jacking up the larynx which causes the vocal chords to bang against each other to make noise. This technique may work for a little while, plenty of singers made a name for themselves by singing that way. But it is NOT sustainable. Note the difference between Christina Aguilera’s “belts” and Ariana Grande’s “belts.” It’s pretty obvious too that over time Christina’s vocal range has shrunk significantly, meanwhile Ariana consistently performs and consistently keeps the range required to perform her discography! I’m willing to bet $30 that in 20 years time when Ariana is the same age as Christina is now, she will have the same vocal range that she has now. Also The women from Abba are a great example of women who don’t default to yelling when singing higher notes

(Kinda) related to the point about people still thinking Africa’s a country… gurl my parents would tell me about how in the early 90s when they first came to the US, they’d tell people they’re from South Africa and the subsequent question would be, “oh which country?” Like 🤦🏽‍♀️

Thank you so much Keisha for saying that to single moms! I always see so much misogyny about single mothers, how its their fault for choosing a guy who would 'bound to leave her', like they put all the blame on them yet they just brush aside the guy who made her pregnant and then left because he couldn't take responsibility yet the mother is expected to, but he isn't. Its takes two to tango, but people forget that so easily! This is coming from someone who was taken care of by a single mother since the age of 9, she went through so much mental, emotional and physical pain just to secure my future, she's an absolute hero

Yes Africa as a continent is so exploited & is being colonized all over again but some of these leaders are not helping. A couple days ago the president of Uganda gave away the country’s international airport to a Chinese bank 😔💔

I agree about the type thing, but there is a line that could be crossed to fetishization. One example, I prefer people who speak Spanish and English because I speak Spanish a lot, and I don't want to limit myself. However, the moment it becomes obsessive, but the person just wants the stereotypes, it is weird. I think people just assume that if you mention something other than personality, it is the latter rather than it being a type

I believe if you're working on being successful you don't really have to struggle necessarily I'm not saying be lazy but you don't have to put your health or yourself at risk .it doesn't mean you are weak. You could still work hard and put effort into your work and still take care of yourself. I feel that there are some toxic masculinity Concepts that need to be debunked. And also I feel like mental health is still stigmatized to this day and people only talk about depression and anxiety but also need to be educated on other mental health disorders as well as ones that are not normally talked about.

You're right about the whole pray and you'll get better thing because I've experienced that. I was staying with my aunt, I remember we were getting ready for church, I'm someone who wears contacts because I can't see without them I could literally go blind at any second and I got my contact stuck in the corner of my eye and my aunt was like "pray Jesus will make your contact fall out". lets just say me and my aunt aren't on good terms after that.

About the “tips to be rich”, first time I hear an opinion about it which is base on logic only and not personal experience and thank you! It’s everywhere nowadays and gets in your head but yeah, if they are smart they won’t tell how they succeeded since they’re still in the competition 🤷🏾‍♀️

Legit so true about the Episodes thing. I was really into that from 13-16 because I wanted to support a friend who wrote their stories on there and also I liked a sci-fi and a murder mystery story that use to do well. But then you notice a lack of inclusivity. People had a whole thing with Episodes that made them include more LGBT and POCs. Then after that all their stories turned into middle age women/men fantasies. 50 shades. Rich guy or older person exploits poor girl/ young person. Toxic romances. Incest. Teen pregnancy. Just way too much predatory vibez and bad behaviors being romanticized. Just a poor use of writing. It really worries me how obsessed with s*x the adults of this society want children to be.

UO: The biggest problem in the black community is a lacking of healing, not a lack of education. While the black community does need to be educated on certain things, healing is the number one thing holding us back. It's sad that so many black people, especially older ones think they don't need therapy or any sort of method to heal from the trauma they are holding onto for dear life. They're riding the 'I made it this far' train. Made it this far and you're still a hot mess. I get that therapy can be expensive but, there are discounted options out there. That's the reason I can afford it. If you can drop some money on the latest sneakers, designer bags, nice vacations, new phones, then you can spend some money on to better yourself.

I live in south Africa and I've been asked questions like "why am I white" People are so ignorant when it comes to Africa. The questions I've been asked.. "do you have water?" "why do you live in a house I you're in Africa?"🤦 I wish people could be more educated on this nation. It can be so beautiful.
