I understand and agree that FIFA is a grind and a scam when it comes to FUT but we can't ignore that as we get older our interests change and we enjoy less the video games than we used in the past

I feel like one of the problems is the amount of huge and expensive packs I remember in FIFA 18 i went crazy after packing gold Neymar in a rare players pack, that feeling just doesnt hit the same anymore.

The ´too much content´ is the main reason for me. cards just aint special anymore and if you grind 10 hours for something, 3 days later theres a better SBC for a similar player

Fifa 14 career mode is simple and fun to play.

My problem: the gameplay. I can't cope with momentum. It always feels like you don't have the full control about what your players are doing. I can't enjoy those controls...

I haven't bought any fifa since fifa 19 and i still play it whenever i want it reminds me of the good ol' days

I quit after 10 min of trying the trial when I saw everyone I met at DAY 1 had god squads. Times were good when everyone had silver cards at the start of the game back in 2016 with normal progression through the game's lifespan.

Fifa is and has been a card/menu game for years now

They have a problem where they drop a new promo every week and out of 20 players only 2 are good. But if they limit content there’s literally no reason to play.

I feel like fifa, 2k, and Madden, started caring more about graphics and UT. Which led to them making game that looked clean and made money thru UT. The problem with that, is that game mechanics and actual game changes took backseat roles, because of how much technology is needed to do accurate, realistic graphics. On top of that, the idea of being able to get cards or packs that are worth playing for have gone out the window cause now you can get specific packs that guarantee certain players, which at the end of the day make pack opening way less fun

Never played FUT, happiness and money is the result

On the other hand, back in the day a casual player couldn't pack a decent special card without paying real money for coins. Because it was the only way to get some packs. Nowadays everyone can get or afford a decent card without paying a real money for it. You just have to play it all day all night.

Adding Female in Ultimate team, just destroyed my experience.

1- every year they release the EXACT SAME game with just a new redesign of menus. YES, it's the same game because they have THE EXACT SAME BUGS every year, is 100% recycled code. They just care about UT because that's where all the kids spend all the money on the same things every single year. They just update the design of the cards and that's it. I know they recycle code because after realizing this, I decided to make the game "fair" and make my own handycap system, one that would always benefit me (yes, this game deserves cheaters), and guess what, it was the same system as previous versions. That game it's a real SCAM 2- Handycap, is scripted on the fucking game and they have patents on the system, so it's not a skill based game anymore. The best mode is pro clubs and even in there the handycap is annoying, they lower the rating of your bots and all the players of your team if the system decides that you need to lose, so the opponent will score the most ridiculous goals and your team will play horrendous (same in UT). If you are about to go up 1 division after ascending, they will make you lose the last game by one way or the other so you "still playing". You can tell that this is because of the handycap system because it always happens the same way and the way you lose is totally ridiculous. They don't even bother randomizing this so it's not so obvious. Not buying anything from EA anymore. That company its over. I hope UFL or PES takes absolutely the entire market away from FIFA and does everything that EA didn't know how and didn't want to do.

I feel pissed when the special edition of an unknown player ends up having a better and more valuable card than an Icon, this game is so full of meta players that you lose interest in plaaying you're favourites in rl, because in the game are mid.

The main issue is how diluted fut is with like what 40-50 differnt cards, career mode they couldn’t care less about and it really shows, pro clubs is well 40% done it feels

FIFA is still fun to me. I’ve been playing since FiFa 14 and even though it may not be as good anymore I still enjoy playing it because of the new players and stuff. But i must admit it isn’t changing much throughout each year

I played FIFA 12 more than Im willing to admit, UT, Career, seasons... last FIFA I got was 22 and I play a career mode game once on a while, its not worth much else

Biggest problem is the handicap and all the tactics AI rats .

I feel that ultimate team is prioritised by EA far too much. I’m a career mode player and apart from overdosing the career mode with constant training sessions (which are boring) and manager interviews where the questions you get asked don’t even make sense..the FIFA career mode is still the same as what it was about 10 years ago 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think it was the arcady feel from the old games, fifa 10 is my favorite fifa because is a good mix of the new and the old. Nowadays it's all about simulation and abusing metas and because of it only facing tryhards, when before we only had seasons but essencially anyone could get to division 1 even with a squad of golds, because of the game mechanics and the elo rating being more forgiving. At least thats my view, and i played my first season in 06

had ps4 pro, played a lot of fifa back in the days. i’m 23, sold it like 2 years ago. fifa & gaming got boring after having a social life a job & a gf… had the chance to buy ps5 & fc24, didn’t buy it. tried it on my friends console but still shit.

You CAN absolutely blame EA for a lot of things. The point is that they’re not giving the players anything new or interesting in their yearly releases anymore (besides drip feeding us the smallest changes). They do the bare minimum and it is totally unacceptable.

They give out too many high value packs like candy and everyone has stacked teams now on FUT. the difference back then was you had to grind to even get a 85+ player and unpacking anyone +87 plus was crazy but now it’s a normal thing not to mention women on FUT was a terrible idea.

For the the players i grew up watching have almost all retired these new players just doesnt have the same elegance on the ball like even mario damn balotelli.

EA completely forgot the basics... good mechanics and gameplay, and a realistic career mode

You only focused on online which isnt the biggest problem. It's the presentation and gameplay.

Fc24 ultimate team is boring but play lots of pro clubs with friends. Unfortunately pro clubs and career/manager mode are actually fun but could be even MORE FUN if they took way more time to listen to the community and expand these game modes. But ofc they won’t bc these game modes won’t bring in money and that’s all EA cares about.

Do you know how hard it was to get an 86+ card that was good! It was rewarding and exciting to pack a 90 rated Robben back then ! Now I see more colour card that pride March you could pack a 90+ card and it goes for like 300k max it’s a joke.

The push to make FIFA an esport game is what killed it for me, everyone running the same sweaty team, tactics and scoring the same goals just makes it incredibly boring. Of course, content creators always telling people to do certain things doesnt help with that...

If I play pro clubs with my team it’s so fun and loosing is not half as bad as it is in FUT. also it comes down to skill and u have more social communication. I think that 1v1 competitive style is just not fun anymore. It’s just too much of an hustle for just playing it for fun

I think if we truly want a good FIFA game we have to boycott ultimate team like you said it's their biggest business model so take away all their profits and they will be forced to make changes but I just don't see FIFA fans or soccer fans in general doing this together for multiple reasons such as what other soccer/futbol game will we play other than FIFA or ea fc24 (gosh that name kills me) and EA will take full advantage on this and some people make money on this type of stuff not only EA these KZfaqrs that play ultimate team spend like $1k on packs and that video probably makes more than $1k can't blame em if it works but it doesn't help our problem with FIFA i played ultimate team one time hardcore and it was awful since i didnt spend any money on packs it was a full free ultimate team and i was always getting destoryed online cause people would have stacked teams to the point where i just played online seasons instead and if i want to build my own team i just play manager career mode just my take ig on this whole situation

Who cares about Fifa anymore? I literally clicked on this video because it just popped up in my feed. I played this game religiously, way back (when it was good) - and I was at the level where I could actually go pro with it, but I didn't. For some reason. And I'm happy about my decision now. Man, i'm so glad i played FIFA in the 2000's... Haven't touched the game for almost 15 years probably. Last time i played it, i think Ibrahimovic was still in Barcelona, that's how long it was. Now the game has been cringe-ified by all these modern mechanics and insufferable streamers. Back then you would just boot the game up, pick a team and play two quick matches, and then move on... As a grown ass man, i don't have time for opening packs and all the cinematics. Miss me with that BS.

It's a pack opening simulator now. EA don't care about gameplay. They actually game feels more like a container ship simulator, when you're trying to control and/or turn your players.

Fifa has absolutely fallen off. Just from a pure gameplay perspective, the game is so boring and stale now. Sure the faces look great, but the football is just robotic. Go back even just a few fifas and you will see the difference. I have been on a fifa 19 career mode save for a while, and I’m having a great time.

FC 24 is slower than Fifa 23 and i get it...but why do i have to play a game that doesn't make me have fun? I fall into the trap...my team was behind, i start to pay money. Results? And what they advertise in their videos on KZfaq? websites that sells coins. So, if you want Drogba 94 you need 2M coins and you have to pay up to 100€ (more than 100£). Last weekend i spent up to 3 am laying...and i always lost. 10 FREAKING HOURS OF LOOSING.
