The most frequently asked question to me as a personal finance coach is “Why Finance?”🤷🏽‍♀️
Well here is why,
✅Throughout our journey in school, we are never really taught about finances, Do you agree?
✅So usually when we grow up we tend to copy the money habits we saw from our parents or relatives growing up & sometime we just tend to do the opposite because we don’t know any better.
✅Well, I was no exception. So when I got my first job after school all I knew was work, get your salary, spend it, work again🤣🤣 Who else relates?🤚🏼
✅After years of active work, I looked back and I couldn’t trace where all my money was going or what I had particularly used it for. And this was around the time I had quit my 7am- 7pm
✅Around that time, I used to hear people talk about save money, invest money and all to these did not make sense to me because in my head I knew I had no salary therefore I had no money to save or invest.(poor money mindset)
✅I embarked on a journey of learning more about how to manage my money, I started practicing the principles even when I still had no job ( because somehow we always have some little money around for data, hair, clothes etc) and within months I had actually saved up money that I used to invest in one of the businesses 💃🏼
✅I went ahead and started sharing all the lessons I was learning with friends, got amazing feedback from people who had tripled their income, paid off their debt, started their investment journey and it’s amazing how 1 money habit can change your financial life for good.
✅For credibility I got certified by the NFEC (National Financial Educators Council in the UK as well as @bankofuganda certified Financial Literacy trainers
