Our lil ginger showed up on our back patio one day, and did not leave that spot for an entire week. He officially adopted us and moved in with us. He is the sweetest cat I've ever had and I have been owned by a lot of cats. Redheads rule!❤

I was just adopted my the sweetest, beautiful 1 year old ginger kitty. He showed up on our back porch and just wouldn't leave. We fed him and after a few days let him inside. He is amazing. So friendly, so sweet and so chill. My other cats don't even hate him. No fights, just some hissing (from them, not the orange angel) and getting to know each other. I fell blessed with this lil guy.

I just lost my ginger longhaired mainecoon yesterday. He had no eyes and was the sweetest cat i've ever met. I never realized how calming and grounding his energy was until he was gone. I'm so devastated and miss him already so much. He was such a sweet boy and incredibly agile for being blind. I have a black and white cat that I rescued along with him and they were my Sun and Moon. Now I am forever missing my Sun😭😿 I hope one day I can have another ginger cat. But I'm happy he is no longer in pain and hopefully now, he can see again! I am rejoicing for him.🧡

We have a baby Milo too! He showed up at a friend's house so tiny and sick. He lost his left eye to an infection. He is better now and very active and happy. His best friend is Bear. Our fat black 3 year old.

Ok I’ve never been a cat person. We adopted Tito at 8 weeks old, a month ago as a birthday gift for my daughter. This dude is a trip, he has turned this house upside down and brought new life. I never thought I could be a cat person but Tito is not a cat he’s my guy.🤷🏾♂️

Fun Fact: Orange cats are aesthetic pleasing for humans which is why they are frequently seen as house cats and friendly. They are used to being with humans. In the wild, their orange coats can make them stick out for predators more then other coat colors of cats which is another reason you like see them more as a house pet then a wild feral one.

Glad there are videos like this as it is some comfort to me. Crying my eyes out since Wednesday evening, my sister’s lovely, cuddly little ginger biscuit Lucky had to be put down as he was 18 and in pain, he could hardly move. We knew it was coming, but it has really upset me, blubbing my eyes out!! 😢 Devastated, as we all loved him, he was such a lovely cat, so friendly and loved people. He was always special, as my sister found him on the road as a three week old kitten and kept him (she asked around, knocking on doors, but nobody knew who owned him). I’ll get over it, but it’s so heartbreaking when they die, isn’t it!! 😢Miss my little Lucky-Bear!! 😢

OMG Ginger cats are really so special. I have had 2 in my life, and they have always amazed me with their loving and special personality. I truly believe they are like little humans. When my children were young, out tabby would go everywhere with the kids. Having other cats who were not gingers and realised how different Gingers were.

We adopted our Ginger Kitten from a rescue. He was found lodged behind the engine block of a truck. He shows his trauma when he hears a loud engine noise, But he is the cuddliest little guy I've ever met... We call him Oliver and this is his forever home.

I've had my ginger cat Marcus for two years and he's very friendly. To illustrate, when I call him he will come running over and high five me with his head. He also is notorious for stealing food from our other cats dishes before they're done. What a character! 😺

Our ginger cats: We have two cats living on our deck (read as abandoned) Golda is a long haired cat and is friendly. Junior is the other. They are not ready to come in the house. In our home is Samantha. She came in from the deck. She is loving and likes to cuddle on my lap. How do I come to name my cat Samantha? To be honest I didn’t, I asked her what should I call you and her reply was Samantha! Yes, some people can speak to animals. Angel is another cat that we adopted from the Humane Society. She is a loner, eats too much, and is overweight! We thought she would be just like my cat, a calico, named pumpkin. I was so sad when I discovered she was nothing like her. Miriam and Moses are siblings. Miriam is a Torti, Moses is orange with large white spots. They love to be with my husband and sleep with him every night. They are very friendly cats. So, we have five cats and one dog in our home. Why are so many cats abandoned?

I used to save stray cats and had three ginger cats all are male Missi , Alex and shinshi they were full energetic all the time and that gives me hard time looking after them LOL after all I fell in love with them and adopted all three of them

My first 2 cats with my family were red tabby cats. One was yellow and orange colored. He was more laid back towards another cat. The second cat was a dark red with orange markings and even had white on his chin, paws, white spot on his belly, and orange and white striped tail. Both cats were both sweet and friendly in a different way. We adopted them separately from being a stray. The 1st one in mid July 1979. The 2nd came around in late September 1981 and was finally adopted in mid November 1981. We were so lucky that both cats did get along with each other. The 2nd cat was more than my cat and I had a very special bond with him. I do missed them both.

My ginger tabby is my heart and my life, he is so gentle and adorable but stands up to a good fight if any other cat comes into his territory. He snuggles up with me at night and LOVES CAT JELLY!!! Oh my word, I can get him to do anything if I just wave that Jelly packet in front of him! 😃 He was found on a rubbish dump almost dying ... but my son and the rescue organization he volunteers for, rescued him.

My egyptian ginger kitty is my best friend. I named her bonnie. She showed up at my front door at 12am when mum and i were in the kitchen talking. I told her can you hear that meow lol. So we fed her and gave her fresh water out the front as she was so thirty from the heat and must of been walking around for days. We took her inside and adopted her, it was only a few minutes in house and she already made herself at home. Now she is my little snuggle bug. My other cats really love her even though she hissed at them at first, no matter how nervous she was around them they still accepted her and she really melts our heart's. She is the biggest bed hogger lol but i couldn't have her any other way 😂😊

When I bought the farm 40 years ago, I was informed there has always been ginger cats there. So we kept on having one + other coloured too. When they gets old they usually leave the barn. Thinking our house is where retired barn cats shall spend their last years.

My little ginger kitty (BONKERZ) is a little cuddle butt. Every single night as soon as I lay down In bed I am forced to lay directly on my side so my arm is extended from my hand underneath my head to my elbow or arm sticking out a bit, and he will crawl up, squeeze tight against me, like a human, laying on his side with his back to me chest, and lay his head on my arm ALLLL night, and sleep like that until after I get up. Then he just moves to end of the bed. No other cats I've ever had have done this before. Sweet little guy.

We currently have two gingers in our yard. Ron (papa cat) has made my son his slave and often sleeps on his bed. His son, Donald is better behaved and lives in the yard and sleeps on trees. Both are adorable!!

I have been with a few purrrrrrrrrfect ginger angels during the last 2 decades and I found that they all were (are) peaceful but alpha. I have yet to see an aggressive ginger baby. BTW, they demands more love than other angels and they command human. That's why they say, "don't order me; you are not my cat".

I have two ginger cats. One looks like a tiger and his brother is a tan color, but his fur has swirls. But they like getting into my crafts. But I love them both so much. Knew two ginger cats, both had some weird personalities. One would eat ants and once sat in the same spot for 5 minutes until I helped him out because he got a piece of plastic stuck to his paw.

Milo didn't look like an orange tabby to me. But another famous one is Puss In Boots from The Shrek and Puss In Boots franchises. Orange tabbies is my favorite type of cat (can't say breed as they're technically a breed) and would like to have one.

All cats are special AND have individual personalities. You can't classify them by their color. After 50 years of cats that is own observation. You can't say "all ?" are this or that of any species.

There is a large male, feral ginger cat in my neighborhood who picks fights with every other cat, male and female. He is an awful nuisance and we all try to capture him to send him away.
