SINCE THE MASS IS NOT NECESSARILY FOR OR ABOUT THE PEOPLE, IT IS ABOUT GOD, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE FOR THE PRIEST TO HAVE TO FACE THE PEOPLE AT ALL. IT"S ACTUALLY IRRELEVANT TO FACE THE PEOPLE SINCE IT IS ABOUT THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS & THE BREAD & WINE BECOMING JESUS. THE PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THERE TO SHOW THE LOVE & ADORATION TO OUR GOD & JESUS THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB WHO SUFFERED & DIED FOR OUR SINS SO WE CAN HAVE SALVATION. ALSO, IF WE TRULY BELIEVE IN TRUE PRESENCE WHY WOULD WE EVER THINK THAT UNCONSECRATED HANDS COULD EVER BE WORTHY TO TOUCH THE BODY & BLOOD OF OUR LORD. UTMOST REVERENCE & RESPECT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE BODY & BLOOD OF OUR LORD.

Being born in the 70s in Nicaragua and never having been to a Latin mass until 3 years ago I felt robbed and betrayed of having such beautiful mass taken away from me. The first time I attended the Tridentine mass I felt I had found my Home and forgot about the other one which to me is a slap in the face to our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Latin Mass. The original mass before they "improved" it. The beauty, the reverence, the absolute awe of the most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I thank God 🙏 for my aunt, a traditional nun, for introducing the TLM to my husband and I in 2003. I truely rediscovered my faith. I almost felt like a convert. I had my own conversion, so to speak. The wholeness of the Christian faith, is found within the Catholic Church. And the most Holy Sacrifice and mystery is discovered in the traditional Mass. Just attend once, and you will be yearning to attend every Sunday for the devotion and the spiritual enrichment and fulfillment. JMJ. +++

Started going to Latin Mass a few weeks ago. I'm 29, and I think it's important for young people to go traditional. Thank God. The Latin Mass is way more rich and interesting.

I was away from the Catholic Church for some time, and later choose to attend the Episcopal Church. The fact that the service was the same made me realize that we Catholics traded the mass as handed down to us for the mass of Calvin. I just want the mass that my parents and grandparents and great grandparents had.
