Why do governments around the world help start ups and entrepreneurs? And why do students of IGCSE Business Studies need to know?
We are going to find out so we can tackle this kind of question which is quite common in CAIE Business Studies in both paper 1 and paper 2.

Is increase in output the same as economic growth?

For IGCSE economic growth would be measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which is the sum of all of the money spent by consumers, businesses, and the government in a given period.
