Growing a parsnip might be the easiest task in Stardew Valley, so why is the speedrun so fast? It's one of the reasons that it is the best Stardew Valley crops!

The first 2 he thought were cauliflower were cauliflower, then the 2 after that we’re actually parsnip, then he got it. U can tell the difference between the cauliflower and parsnip because of the orientation of the 3 seeds. Parsnip looks like a pyramid and cauliflower looks like a sideways triangle. Cauliflower also has 2 planted seed options, even tho Stardew wiki shows 1 of the options.

somebody please tell this man he can press numbers to get to the tool he needs directly, reducing the accidental uses of pickaxe and other tools :) other than that, I never expected enjoying someone play tens of speedruns of planting a freaking parsnip but well, here we are, I watched it whole and I have no regrets :)

@@nebula8893 There are plenty of pc games that dont have hotbars and especially in cases like stardew, where the games dont have control tutorials, how would someone learn that the numbers can auto select the hotbar without someone telling them or accidentally pressing it?

absence carrots is one things, but how come you can pickle vegetables, and they all look like a jar of pickled cucumbers, but the only cucumbers in the game are fish?

That’s why I like the better artisan goods icon mod. It changes the appearance of a lot of the goods to be more realistic.

Y'know, I'm pretty sure that the world of Stardew Valley just canonically does not have normal carrots. All the recipes that you'd expect to have normal carrots in (like the stir fry) use cave carrots instead...

Parsnip lore: They are slightly more expensive than carrots, and taste almost identical. I think concerned ape chose them because of how dirty and grungy they look.

He’s hitting the weeds at 10:30 roughly, and then it’s planted around 12, wouldn’t it be faster to just grab the seeds from the box at the point? I think you originally planted around 9 seconds when he did it in the first run Edit: not counting the mess ups like the bed mess up and etc in the first run Edit edit: desperately need a video of seanie just singing songs from phineas and ferb

Regarding the best Phineas and Ferb song, I counter with both "Watching and Waiting," which gets stuck in my head constantly, and "Ain't Got Rhythm," which is stuck in my head the rest of the time.
