About Married to Medicine:
Dr. Jackie is on a serious mission to step into a new phase of her best life. Her dream home is complete, her friendship with Dr. Simone is rekindled, and with her medical practice in overdrive for the first time she is contemplating hanging up her coat as full-time MD to pivot to business mogul status. Dr. Heavenly is once again embracing her two biggest passions - expanding her empire and trying to keep her family close - however while she tries to balance her practice, Dr. Damon’s practice, opening her new beauty supply store, and preparing for her daughter Alaura to go to college, she is in over her hair. In the friendship department, Heavenly’s bond with Contessa and some of the ladies is in need of repair after her social media posts have left everyone giving her the side-eye. Dr. Simone is moving in a positive direction, although she has admitted to being “on the petty boat” last year, she has now disembarked for good. Her friendship with Dr. Jackie is off to a fresh start. Her and Husband Cecil have their sights set on making it on the next bestseller list, only if they can make it through the writing process in one piece. Dr. Contessa is at a crossroads in her life and is determined to no longer live in confusion. She is venturing into fitness training to compete in a bikini body competition. Will getting back her beauty queen body give her the confidence to finally stand up for herself in her marriage? Miss Quad has arrived and is living her champagne wishes and caviar dreams out in her new multimillion-dollar home that she bought on her own. Quad is moving her mother and her clever 6-year-old nephew, Mason in with her, shifting her life from an easy-going single life to a full house of family. Toya has had the weight of life on her shoulders as she and Dr. Eugene have moved into a new home while they look to build their next forever home. Toya is working on mending friendships and her marriage with Dr. Eugene, which will be tested when a swirl of rumors begin to brew. Anila is returning to a bit of normalcy with her husband, Dr. Kiran’s practice back in full swing and their home construction finally complete. With the sudden departure of their long-time nanny, Anila and Dr. Kiran agree to consider moving her parents in to help with the kids, but after a traumatic burglary occurs at her new home, Anila is left to pick up the pieces and choose between friends and foes. New friend, Audra is a decedent of African royalty and a successful real estate attorney who is engaged to Dr. Martin Curry. Yup! We are looking for BLACK DOCTORS PERIOD!!!!! Made me want to cry when dr. Jackie said that! I live in Wisconsin and they just don’t exist here like that. I’ve been dismissed and told most of my ailments stem from anxiety and that I’m overreacting. I have had to force my doctors to do more extensive analysis in their testing for things and thankfully I am ok and healthy. I think the statistics and rise in maternal issues among black women is scary also. This is why what dr. Jackie said is so important and means so much and is so true!

I agree with you 1000% I’ve been dismissed too my doctor put it on stress and to add insult to injury my PCP don’t even wanna see me in person they STILL wanna practice telemedicine🙄 i’m like can I please come in so the doctor can listen to my heart and check my blood pressure and look inside my ears I mean really🙄

I don’t believe the Buff incident. if you watch the clip from her speech when Dr. Jackie mentioned the miscarriage, the edit doesn’t add up. Think about it. If someone said you had a miscarriage loud on a microphone, wouldn’t you think that someone would tell Dr. Jackie something right then and there? Wouldn’t the audience say something about that, especially in a room full of other doctors? Would the audience make faces or look confused if she truly mentioned it the way the clip makes it seem? That’s why I don’t quite believe the way Buffie tried to spend that story…because the edit doesn’t quite match up. I didn’t like how the editors were trying to paint Dr. Jackie. They did too much editing to the point where Dr. J’s statement didn’t align with audience reception. Pay close attention to that clip again.

@@KZfaqReady I get what you’re saying bc when I watched it, I thought the same. I thought there wasn’t enough outrage or at the very least, response from the ladies. I was more shocked that Buffie didn’t respond either. But then again, I thought maybe they didn’t get Buffies reaction bc the cameras were on Dr Jackie or on the other ladies. She was a newbie then. I saw Mariah and someone else give Buffie the side eye, like girl “you’re not gonna say anything?”. Also the audience may not have understood the magnitude of the situation or who buffy was to respond. But the fact that Jackie responded that way when confronted by Buffie at the table means she really didn’t think she did anything wrong which made it even more believable to me since it just flowed off her tongue so naturally. Buffie was probably embarrassed and if it was me, I wouldn’t overreact either to not bring attention to it.

@@andredrw289 because Jackie and Simone have been friends for 20 plus years. Since college. They met in med school and have been through a lot together. Jackie delivered Simone’s kids I mean, they have a deeper level of friendship compared to Heavenly, who became their friend within the past 5 years. It’s not going to be an equal amount of love.

But Simone knew Jackie the longest and should've stepped up and said Jackie didnt mean that with malicious intent. Instead, Simone cliqued up with Mariah., led the lynch mob and waited for the cameras to turn on to chastise Dr. Jackie, even after she had already apologized several times to Buffie by then. Simone wanted Dr. Jackie's downfall and showed her own slip. Then turned around and acted clueless about Dr. Jackie's standpoint.

Contessa is on a hunt for a storyline. She was on Dr. Heavenly’s KZfaq equally speaking on the cast unfavorably. She put her marriage on front street to be scrutinized and we all saw how Dr. Scott spoke to her. I think they did that for tv but didn’t expect it to get real. Now she’s looking for a scapegoat in Dr. Heavenly. Contessa and Simone have an issue with owning their mess after they disrespect their marriages and spouses on tv. Dr. Heavenly answered honestly what we all saw and a true friend won’t lie to you.

Contessa flipped real quick. She went from nearly divorced and 😭😭😭😭 all last season plus getting Quad to speak up for her to this? On her show, Dr Heavenly said very little about Contessa's marriage for this very reason. Dr Heavenly should not have said the abuse part because Scott is an MD but what she said was not completely out of line. Dr Heavenly is opinionated and messy but she did try not to speak about that marriage.

Heavenly doesn't understand that although she may be telling the truth, she can still offend her friends. Getting online and recapping the episodes are one thing. Making light of serious situations they're going through (Cecil's job, Curtis cheating) or throwing unwarranted shade (Quad's body, Toya's weight) is another. She hides behind "It's true!". It might be but as "friends", you're not supposed to join the fray of online people making fun too. She has to decide if blogging is worth it at the expense of her friends. If so, then carry on but to be obtuse and act as if she doesn't understand why they're upset.....

Being friends and associates with various personality types, I never chose another person over them. Everybody has qualities that are not like the other friends. However, you never forget who was there when nobody else was. Newly made friends cannot replace real friends.

Dr. Jackie has valid reasons to have been mad with Simone, and its funny how their real issue is going over some of y'all's heads. Simone has been drunk and belligerent on this show, and when they came for her, Dr. Jackie always swooped in and spoke up for her friend. She would pull Simone to the side to check her. When Jackie's turn came when she messed up once, Simone chose camera life over a lifelong friendship. Simone knew Jackie the longest and should've stepped up and said Jackie didnt mean what she said with malicious intent. Instead, Simone cliqued up with Mariah, led the lynch mob and waited for the cameras to turn on to chastise Dr. Jackie, even after she had already apologized several times to Buffie by then. Simone wanted Dr. Jackie's downfall and showed her own slip. Then turned around and acted clueless about Dr. Jackie's POV. Only those of y'all who cant read between the lines and the BS cant see it. That was Jackie's whole issue and a valid one. When Simone realized she effed up, she did what she does best, blamed Dr. Heavenly foe their fallout.

Yeah some of what you saying is true. But Jackie doesn't call out Heavenly behavior either. She just whispers to her. Or turn her head. So that works both ways And Dr.Jackie did get offended when Buffy called her out. For telling her private business. And we all know the principal isn't use to that. And instead of her calming her guard dog ( Heavenly) down she just let her attack Buffy. Just because Simone was seeing only one side doesn't mean Jackie wasn't either. Jackie not use to being called out. That's why her and Quad get along.

Heavenly is her own woman at the end, so Jackie cant stop her from what she wants to do. What show are y'all watching? There's only so much Jackie can do before she gets tired, same with how Simone was acting earlier seasons. She had to learn foe herself. But if you hang with the opps who tried to attack my license (and yours) then dont get mad that Im getting tight with someone YOU were tight with too at one point.
