I became a stay at home dad in Japan. My previous job made my health condition quite bad and I'll work on recovering my health whilst taking care of my kid and doing housework instead.
My plan is to recover my health, try to start working and earning money from home and improving my Japanese. If you want to follow this journey, please click subscribe so you stay up to date with our latest adventures on this journey.

This video marks the start of the new type of content which will be published on this channel from now on. I finally will make more videos about my life again and Japanese language learning videos will go to my second channel @VoylinSensei This is my life from now on, it's honestly scary to be without a job, however financially we should be fine .. for now ^^" I'll try making an income whilst being a stay at home dad and I hope I can show it to other people how to achieve this. My next video will be about my first week as a stay at home dad as my wife finally started working again after one and a half year of maternity leave. Now I'm all on my own together with my kid most of the time.

Good luck with everything and take care! I hope your health gets better now that you don't have to worry about that job. Life in a different country can be mentally exhausting at times (a sometimes even without an obvious reason) and that's valid.

Thank you very much! Living in a different country can give you all kinds of small struggles, but all those tiny things can add up to a bigger amount. It's been over a month now and I am slowly starting to feel better and I'm finally starting to have my energy to do things again.

Hey mate. I've been a stay at home dad in Tokyo for about 10 years now. It can be really tough in many ways. But I will never regret choosing m kids over work. You're at the start of the journey I embarked on a decade ago. I'll be following your channel. Might be able to give you some tips 🙂

Thanks for your comment and thanks for following our journey! ^^ I have been able to deal with my stress and energy levels. Main thing I am struggling with now is to have enough time to work on things which could earn me some amount of income. Any advice for this? ^^" Or maybe advice on how to actually have time/energy to work on things?

On my N2 video I've already said that there won't be any N1 video anyone soon. The N2 video required a couple of months and the N1 contains even more grammar points. I'm planning on slowly searching for the grammar points but please don't expect the N1 video to be released within the next couple of months. I'll try to finish it by the end of this year, but can't promise anything.

Did you pass the jlpt n3?

Yes, I've passed the JLPT N3 part December. It was a lot more difficult compared to the practice tests which I took so it was quite surprising that I passed 😅
