Thank You Austin Tukwa for interviewing such a beautiful Japanese woman. I really appreciate the things she said. Her Khmer is very good. I'm Khmer and learning Japanese lol. It's true that Cambodia and Japanese have many similarities from respect, the way we address each other, how we bow and other things. It's quite normal in some Asian countries. Does she have a channel we can find her on? She really does look like a Megumi (Blessed, Beautiful, Graceful) lol

I'm surprised about the food part that she said it's not that cheap... From watching other videos showing khmer street food, it seems the average price is somewhere between $1-$3 unless your eating at the restaurants then that would definitely cost more.

Vietnamese or thai street food is cheaper than khmer, believe it or not. Khmer food is also not as tasty as thai and vietnamese food. That's one thing most foreigners always complain about. And khmer people love the US dollar and only accept crisp US dollar bills. Not folded or crimped up ones.

Yes, bad days happen everywhere in the world. My husband recently got his wallet stolen in SoCal, USA. Within minutes, charges started coming in on his credit cards and ATM cards that were in his wallet.😢😢

How long did it take her to learn Khmer fluently?

Hi! I would say I felt pretty confident after the second or third year. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to continuously study in Cambodia due to the pandemic, etc, so it took a little longer since I studied in Japan via online and the other times in Cambodia through day-to-day conversations. I would say I still have a ways until I reach my full goals in fluency but I am practicing as much as possible.

This article is about to show the interesting facts about Cambodia. Ankor wat Facing to the west, because our ancestors built this monument for the future even, when the second sun comes ,the west will become to be the east , and a very even will happen in Cambodia. (Kanal) We are Khmer but the word khmer was written in complex style ,was read as khem mac rac not khmer. When Thai occupied Cambodia they read this word as khmen(r) not in the complex style, in normal style, so the word khmer was born , so we have to names khmer and Khem mac rac. Khmer had the killing field because of Vietnamese they pretending to be khmer, impostor like Pol Pot , even Hun Sen , too. Now Hun Sen is pushing khmer to very danger of nuclear by giving land to China, our ancestors, too predicted that...

Yeah this country is full of poverty and it is the reason why when Japanese people are coming in= this is like seeing a free wallet walking and giving free easy money, particularly if you look like a lost tourist, then you’re a tourist scammers pot of gold prize. Though must say this Japanese lady is trying so hard with giving positive criticism so it doesn’t offend Cambodia people. Now this is the real beauty of being brought up in Japanese high respect culture. By the way having your personal things stolen in Cambodia is very common and not the odd case of a rare scenario. You do not need to believe this advice and test it yourself if you have the dares opportunity. In Japan if you are forgetful like by mistake had left the purses on the dining table - however, a return visit on the next day = 100% likely chances that you purses will not go missing and fully intact. Well….as for in Cambodia don’t waste your time going back to the restaurant and make peace with yourself once you’ve realized how careless you have been as it is the only thing left you could do= fact.
