Not a criticism to Muslims or to Islam, but here are the reasons why Islam is never going to be the religion for me! Why I Could Never Be Muslim
truthguru001 pointed out that it is wrong for me to have a picture of my guru Sri Bharati Tirtha in the background when I speak politically like this. He is totally right. His Holiness is not political and does not endorse or share my thoughts. I have not run any of my opinions by him so his image should not be taken as any kind of endorsement.

Exactly ! In fact its a collection of various different philosophies, not just one. You are free to chose which one to follow. I follow the Charvaka/Lokayata philosophy in Hinduism which is an atheistic school of thought which stresses on evidence and proofs (no direct proof of god, hence god does not exist is the way it works here) and is even materialistic.

This much I know for sure: pig heads like you can only think and imagine svery thing in the world is piggy! And now on u r question if I accept Ahmedias as Muslims. The question is too childish and hence an oxymoron. The reasons are: 1. La Iqra fiddini. That is, in Islam, there is no compulsion in religion. 2. I am no body to decide if some one is a true "this" or true "that". God is the decider. 3. It is in all us humans' nature to make infractions. For ex. a mother treating her own children with quite a varied levels of likes and dislikes. The foundation of society, i.e, the family itself is divided in almost every case. Hence your question has no relevance.

Salam Ambaa, nice to hear your thoughts. I am a Muslim, and I understand where you are coming from on this issue. While it is true that the mainstream of Islam believes in separate distinction between Creator and Creation, there branches, such as in the Sufi tradition which I am studying nowadays, and belief in the concept of Waddutul Wajood, with the essence of God being with the essence of Creation. May we spread peace to all in our different paths!

Thank you so much for your kind comment! I appreciate you taking the time to actually hear what I'm saying. Bro, heaven and hell exists in hinduism, don't be too deluded that hinduism is the only religion. read the vedic texts, 11 principle upanishads, it talks about eternal rewards and punishment. The only difference is in abrahamic faith you have to accept God. In hinduism God clearly in the the atharaveda says "I created mankind only to recognize me"

One of the major difference between abrahmic religions(xianity and islam) and Dharma. In abrahmic religion you have to believe in something and you will be given heaven with full of luxuries after death. In Dharma(Vedic/Jainism/Buddhism) you have to practice and live your life in that way so that you could free from this suffering of life , endless desires , break out this maya/illusion and attain moksha. Abrahmic religions sounds like lollop.

@AkshayTomar1987
@AkshayTomar1987 7 жыл бұрын
Buddhist view is Desire is Suffering. So leaving everyone behind to get away desire and to find Nirvana is also an desire, desire to be free and with God where there is no suffering. I do not support this view as this comes as selfish and impractical. Now on the other hand you have Hindu path which says live your life to fullest with festivals, there are dharma, laws on code of conduct for people engaged in different fields like, Kings and Rulers, Holy men, Warriors to those engaged in trade. Also, it has suggestions for personality traits for Students, Women and Wives etc. Hinduism is not just a religion, its not just about religious ceremonies it is a way of life. The path of Dharma (Righteous Action). But to your question that endless desire is to be one with God or even become God himself. Suffering of life is desire,and desire remains till you have attained nirvana, i.e. you are released from the cycle of life and birth.

I would appreciate if there was awareness in people to call it Sanatan Sanskriti or Vedic Dharma. Sanatan Sanskriti is repository of knowledge with human evolution. This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). 1.Since Dharma evolved and led humans from darkness to light from ignorance to knowledge. "tamso ma jyotirgamaya". There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent. 2. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time. 3. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Puran, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas. 4. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. 5. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant. 6. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth . 7. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers. 8. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all. 9. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. 10. If someone adopts Sanatan dharma way of life. He automatically fits into the either Varna Vyavstha Brahman Kshatriya Vaishya Shudra according to profession or Ashram Vyavstha Brahmacharya Grihasth Vanprasth and Sanyas. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us. Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma. To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants. Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. For details you mail me. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally an individual local social environment no support from Dharma 11. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. So better study the world's oldest surviving civilization based on Dharma with universal application, yourself. अहं बर्हमासमी l तत त्वं असी. सर्वे जना:सुखिनो भवन्तु. सर्वे सन्तु निराम्या:l वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम l

its really strange about muslims and their god. hindu gods say you dont need to believe in god because he is out there and it doesnt matter if you dont believe him. he dont even require your devotion he wants you to be a better person and perform your dharma. hell or heaven is based on our karma not on gods if you have a bad karma you must pay for it. help the poor respect every faith. thats why india is so vast and multi cultured. hindus say there are many ways to reach god. god is within us our soul is part of supreme god when we die we realise it. in geeta shri krishna says dont be scared of death in fact death is the new beginning and the truth about your life. this world is pure illusion.

Good video. You summarized the theology of Islam quite well and succinctly. Although I came from and was raised in a Catholic Christian background, I later converted to Islam. There was always so many inner conflicts, because by nature I was and am a rational, free-thinking individual. There were many practices that went against my nature and I tried to simply ignore. However, I did study the theology and truly believed in it although looking back at it, the theology/kalam tradition I studied was one of mental gymnastics. It went to great efforts at explaining different concepts but still left a lot more questions that were often put aside in most people's kinds by the same type of excuses used by Christians, i.e. its all just a "mystery" so don't question or inquire too much....
@seanjobst1985
@seanjobst1985 6 жыл бұрын
Certain political issues however, created a distance from me and Muslims. That was the catalyst, but then I began studying mythology and the roots of religions. It became clear to me just how much the Abrahamic religions stole and appropriated from the "pagan" religions, but adding to this stolen structure a whole host of horrific, enslaving, guilt/shame complexes, and us vs. them dichotomies, a recipe for endless strife. Then studying the historical anachronisms that cast doubt on many of the stories held as "divine revelation", such as Moses and the Exodus. There was also the cultural barriers for me, where naturally to be a "good" Muslim one must inevitably be a wannabee Arab/Semite.... Finally, my liberation came from my first trip to my ancestral lands (Germany and Spain), which awoke something in me to look into my pre-Christian ancestral spirituality and reject the entire Abrahamic structure. Although I personally am studying the spiritual path of my Germanic and Celtiberian ancestors, tapping into that stream of wisdom, I have much respect for Hinduism and other such "polytheist" religions which truly are the antithesis of the Abrahamic religions. Keep up the videos and if anyone reading has any questions about certain things about Islam, I will be more than happy to draw from my previous experience as a convert who made the effort to study Islamic theology and read a lot of texts.

Ambaa, thank you for sharing your thoughts. However, wouldn't you agree that it is irrational to judge another ideology based on the assumption of your own current personal beliefs? Because by doing this, you will reject all opposing ideas, by default. So I think it is important for you, and me, to always have an open mind to different ideas, and think OBJECTIVELY just like we did before coming to our current faith in the first place. In regards to Islam, you must realize that the essence of Islam (of submission to the will of God) is GRATITUDE. This is why we worship God. Just as we ought to show obedience & submission to our parents in gratitude that they raised us and sustained us as a child, we ought to fully obey & submit to the Creator, who GAVE us our parents, and the very body & life in which we exist. God is totally free of need from His creation, and our life is a precious gift, that we therefore strive to show God gratitude for. You also spoke about Islam being "separate from God." This is only true in the sense that God, the Creator, cannot be the creation itself, or else it de-entitles Him from being the Creator in the first place. But Allah Almighty says to us clearly in the Quran, *"And We have certainly created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] own jugular vein." (Quran **50:16**)* God is certainly near to us by his infinite knowledge, as He knows fully what is contained within the Heavens & the earth. He responds to our supplications, and guides us through our hardships with His permission, due to His love & nearness. Also, you said something I would like to correct; in Islam, we are born INTO submission (the pre-born instinct that we call the "Firtrah"), NOT in arrogance of God's worship. God tells us in the Quran, *"So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know." (Quran **30:30**)* In fact, I would encourage you to research modern anthropological studies, which have actually found that young children in nearly all areas of the world are pre-disposed to believing in God, the Creator, even if that is not necessarily part of their upbringing. This is an incredible fact that supports the Islamic concept of the Fitrah. I ask you to consider this: How can we deny the Creator, when we can clearly see the complexity & design within the creation itself? When we look at a camera or computer, we instantly know that this was designed by a will & consciousness. Yet how can we look at our very own eyes & brain, which TRANSCEND any camera or computer on earth, and deny that they were created by an intelligent designer? We have certainly not created ourselves, nor were we created from nothing. The very creation around us attests to God Almighty's existence. We ought to reflect & ponder upon this, if we wish to attain the Truth. At the end of the day, I would urge you to READ the Quran for yourself, for there is no better guide to understanding Islam than this. The Quran is either the word of the Creator, or it is not. So you ought to read it sincerely, and decide for yourself. Remember: If this life of ours is indeed the only life we are given to search for the Truth & accept it, then we ought to try our hardest to do so, lest the Day of Judgement is true, and we regret that we did not listen & use our intellect to find the Truth. Peace be upon you. May God guide you and I towards the Truth. *"We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?" (Quran **41:53**)*

There is no such thing such as Hindu religion because religion basically make you believe. Through the vedic culture or philosophy you would get knowledge and you would become a seeker. I am Muslim. We are human being with logic and brains. Every one of us has to and will make choices in this world. Without a doubt in my mind, not even little bit, I know Islam is the truth. The same pure religion or way of life as many religions were at their beginning before they get lost, added, forgotten, misinterpreted, etc. Because my 100% belief in, I hope everybody gets the information, gets to know the truth so they could see what is at stake here. *People, Read Quran.* If you want, once you do that, reject and even fight against Islam. But for once before you leave this world, do yourself a favor, final favor, and *Read*. Just *Read*. You will get to know my points, either now or once you are on your death bed and waiting to leave this world. That is if you are lucky. Salam

I respect that. I'm glad that you have that confidence and peace with your life. I only ask that you not try to make everyone else believe the same as you. We are all different and we need different religions. Not everyone needs to be or should be the same. I will always have a problem with any religion that says it is the only way to access Truth.

Ambaa, you have my respect. I will add these few things to highlight where I am coming from. What if I told you Ambaa, that you, the CORE of you, Soul, is way ancient that the body of you. What if I told you that the core of you come from another existence. What if I told you that once the core of you leave the body, you will remember everything you were before and also what you have done in this world. What if I told you that the entirety of our existence in this universe/world would not be equal to hours of the life in the past existence nor the existence after we leave body. You might agree every thing I said as many religions talk about something around that, or even have tuition/feeling something along that. But what you will find in Quran, is the same as the rest, where there is collaboration, and more authenticity. So if for example you tell me, dont share this with me or that Atheist, do you see what you will not be sharing people with? If you know the existence of life after death, let us say you had true NDE, near death experience, would you really not share people with what you have seen? We have to like goodness for people. We are family anyways. All 7 billion of us. Salam

One fact I would like to correct here is that - there is no hell in Sanatan Dharm. The Garud Puran has detailed explanation about the sins and the punishment associated with it. It is not eternal suffering but If you are doing something which causes pain and suffering to others you have to either repent for it before you die or have to go through different Narks (Hell) and then Yonies (born as a different Species) till you have served your punishment.

Ali ibn Abu Talib (as) on the Existence of God Imagination cannot reach Him so as to assign Him quantity; Understanding cannot think of Him so as to give Him shape; Senses do not perceive Him so as to feel Him; Hands cannot touch Him so as to rub against Him; He does not change into any condition; He does not pass from one state to another; Nights and days do not turn Him old; Light and Darkness do not alter Him; It cannot be said that He has a limit or extremity or end or termination, nor do things control Him so as to raise Him or lower Him, nor does anything carry Him so as to bend Him or keep Him erect; He is not inside things nor outside them; He conveys news, but not with tongue or voice; He listens, but not with the holes of the ears or the organs of hearing; He says, but does not utter words; He remembers, but does not memorize; He determines, but not by exercising His mind; He loves and approves without any sentimentality (of heart); He hates and feels angry without any painstaking; When He intends to create someone He says, "Be," and there he is, but not through a voice that strikes (the ears) is that call heard; His speech is an act of creation. The foremost in religion is the acknowledgement of Him; The perfection of acknowledging Him is to testify Him; The perfection of testifying Him is to believe in His Oneness; The perfection of believing in His Oneness is to regard Him pure, and the perfection of His purity is to deny Him attributes because every attribute is a proof that is different from that to which it is attributed, and everything to which something is attributed is different from the attribute. Thus whoever attaches attributes to God recognizes His like, and who recognizes His like regards Him two, and who regards Him two recognizes parts for Him, and who recognizes parts for Him mistook Him, and who mistook Him pointed at Him, and who pointed at Him admitted limitations for Him, and who admitted limitations for Him numbered Him; Whoever said 'in what is He?' held that he is contained, and whoever said 'on what is He held?" He is not on something else. He is a being but not through the phenomenon of coming into being; He exists but not from non-existence; He is with everything but not in physical nearness; He is different from everything but not in physical separation; He acts without connotation of movements and instruments; He sees even when there is none to be looked at from among His creation; He is only One, such that there is non whom he may keep company or whom He may miss in his absence. Holy Qur'an 41:53 - "We will show them our signs in the universe and in their own selves until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth."

Its upto muslims own lifestyles how they live but most of the Muslims are not following the real Islam. Imam Hussain was martyred in the dessert of Karbala with his family 14000yrs ago. Its not a story a history that happened in reality. Our Imam didn't fight against Yazeed who was a tyrant ruler at that time acting like a Muslim and was not following the real path of Islam. He killed mercilessly our Imams family just to gain the rulership of Muslims He killed 3 days thirsty Imams infant Ali Asgher with an arrow in his neck because Imam Hussain stood against Yaeed's oppression and injustice. We belife in this life Imam didn’t ruled like Yazeed, he will surely get reward as Imam Hussain Said bowing down his head on the sand of Karbala that there is One God to whom I pray and to whom I'll be back. My stand is for whole humanity not only muslims. How can he be lying to whole world in the his most miserable and painful time? I can't find anyone Like Imam Hussain who saw his infant dying in his hands and sacrificed whole family in the way of God in order to protect us from wrong path and from those Muslims who look like Muslims but following Yazeed. Nice points Ambaa. Also Quran just has the same stories from Talmud. Muslims claim that the previous humans had not translated it correctly and then Mohammed was given the same stories and what he said was the truth - except it all got written some hundred years after his death 🤔 How in the right mind can a rational human being accept that one, reject the Talmud stories and say the new ones are absolutely correct? To add to the judgement day - all abrahamic religions say that this day where God judges you for the way you lived your life and if she finds you guilty of living it differently than she expects (or he) then your soul is damned to eternity? Scary! I like the Karma way. My karma will decide what happens to my soul. I may come back as a butterfly 😊 Or a Lion! (Simba!) except if I had bad karma then a dentist would hunt me down 🤓😝 Anyways, Karma is the reason Hinduism and Buddhism are awesome..

Contemplate on this while practicing Jana Yoga here. Though I recommend first reading Bhagwad Geeta to come out pure, otherwise it may lead you to a darker path (In terms of constant negative emotions, disregard for life, too much fixation on suffering is also bad, but you cannot always be merry and cheerful, so watch some videos of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev). Hope that'll help to clear your path.

Thank you for being so respectful in your comments. This video was really made to balance out my other video on why I couldn't be a Christian. I think that one explains a lot more how I ended up where I am. My parents raised me with Hindu philosophy and it has always just really clicked for me and made sense. It is the only way that the world makes sense to me. I have tried other ways. It's hard to even know where to begin with your two questions. That premise makes as much sense to me as God being the flying spaghetti monster. Have we been created only for the purpose of worshiping him? Is he that petty? Does he need praise or else he'll punish us for all eternity? What kind of God is that? Does he want to keep us children? Keep us obeying and submissive? It's so demeaning to human beings. God's attributes are all the best things in ourselves.

Now u guys this is violence this is attack , this is innocent killing by your so call soldiers , so call Indian soldiers .This is hate , this is killing understood .So without knowing the terms , conditions , reasons don't blame any religion Got it! and let me tell u something we Muslims r soo proud that God made us Muslims .I love all of my Muslim brothers and sisters out there .So Plz stop speeding hate and violence u guys We Muslims r not spreading It u people r so stop it don't blame any religion it's not right .That's all I wanted to say and I hope that u people will understand because Islam is a beautiful religion I mean it it's beautiful plzz spread it as much as u can cause by that u will be rewarded in this world as well as hereafter.Thanku

I am sorry that there is a lot of hate in the comments. I apologize for that. I think Hindus have a tremendous amount of fear when it comes to Islam and it isn't just the perception that it is violent. It's that it is a proselytizing religion and so we Hindus feel in fear that we will be wiped out because we don't convert people. However, I hope that you have watched the video and see that I have attempted to address the philosophical differences and reasons why Islam is not for me, which have nothing to do with whether it is violent or peaceful or not. I can't agree, though, that your people are not spreading hatred and fear. I get some extremely nasty and violent threats from Muslims and I'm not the only one. So yes, I do think there are good and bad people in any religion and I am trying hard to find the good in Muslims because I don't want to be someone living in fear or hatred. It would help if forced and coerced conversion would stop!

And I think and believe it's not right for a person that he or she changes the views of other people regarding to Islam .it's not right to tell anyone that to whom religion he should be converted .That's All !thanks

Ambaa, you shouldn't be sorry and shouldn't be answerable to this Takreem Khan. Simply he doesn't know anything or he is simply following the Quran, what's the term for lie ing in Quran? You're our daughter, so I took the pain to respond. One more thing, whenever I see your new video my heart fills with joy as if I'm seeing my own daughter. Be happy and be on good work. Our good wishes are with you.

kasim8t3 God maybe has no image or form but nothing in this world could stop him into getting into any shape or form if that requires to connect with his believers as he is god after all

Well I know I am replying too late but I just wanna say that yes it says that God has no image or idols . It's written God is the way you want him to be ...if you want your God to be polite , silent , never praises himself then Its Lord Ram , if you want him to be mischievous, cute , sensible and always behaving like kids then its krishna ...and further ...so we have given our God an image how we want him to be :) . Making its idols is a way from which we can talk to him , we can have a thought he is near us and will never leave us alone
