This is exactly what I have been telling myself for a couple of months now. As an introvert, becoming a video editor might be the best thing happening to me because I don't have to talk to anyone haha. Besides, it also helps me to "protect" my passion for creating my own KZfaq channel. I want video editing becoming my full-time income so I don’t have to be afraid that one day I will force myself to make my KZfaq channel become a business (Because I broke af). What I mean is that I want to completely separate my work and my passion. Maybe for you video editing is a passion, but for me it's just a job. I only feel passionate when I edit my own videos haha. But now I have a bigger problem: video editing takes all of my time so I don't have much time to create my own content lol. I love the messages you're trying to tell everybody and em biết ngay là anh sẽ quyết định tập trung hơn vào việc phát triển kênh tiktok nói tiếng việt kia mà haha. Good luck man! I hope to see your "cinematic" footages about your own life on KZfaq and Tiktok :D

I started a channel to learn more about the industry I love, tech. I’m having so much fun and learning how to do a lot of new things. Plus tell stories. KZfaq is not my income, it’s my marketing and creative outlet. The money comes from our tech work for some amazing clients.

You need the fun… that’s what creativity is about.

Hi Peter. I just gave my D800 to my daughter in-law, leaving me with my old D610 which recently decided to refuse to raise the mirror resulting in black images. Nikon thinks it will cost $300+ to fix this issue so I decided to look for a used Nikon such as in the D3k series or D5k series. Why I mention this is I was getting a-lot of good information from your videos in helping with deciding which camera to order, even though I am a former nature/landscape photographer and not a videographer. I was sad and disappointed to see you leaving but good luck in any future goals.

I’m trying to find an editor. I hate doing it and it takes away from my creative process when making the videos. I can’t be as complex or creative because I fear editing it out when I need to re do. I end up forcing myself to spend 6-7 hours until I can get a one take video done and then another 3-8 hours editing it rather than 2 hours filming and 3,865 hours editing lol. I hope ur doing well brother. ❤

Being both a content creator and a professional editor, I really understand what you mean. It is time-consuming and also energy draining. It can render your Brian so tired after a few hours of editing

i left the recording studios back in 2018 because of this kind of. artists coming into the studio 90% with KZfaq beats, asking me to just download it off KZfaq. i started producing a lot of stuff that would never see the light of day, not because the house beats weren't good, its because there were too many options and that sucked the soul out of everything, too many contradictions, and then seeing that soon artists would have to swim upstream with views on social media, was i going to have to dot hat for all these hundreds of artists also. i was able to walk away and started doing my won music for the first time. People prolly thought i was crazy, but it took me only a year to get to 180 million plays on reels just doing my own djrapstar page, something i was not able to accomplish working with hundreds of artists, nothing even remotely close... hard pill for me to swallow for sure but i did it. i also had the time to now focus on my brand where before my creativity was being dictated by each client that walked thru the studio doors, one min i was doing music for a rapper, next a circus clown, next a n audio book, next an aggressive scene in a movie, next a jazz song, my creativity and soul was being dragged through the creative coals, and yeas, with the paying wedding client like you mentioned, i couldn't be full creative, the client was now dictating my work, which is aw in some cases was making me look bad because IT WASNT MY BEST WORK, but its what the client wanted... i see people handing roles over to people but then that cuts all your costs and you still end up making a tiny amount or similar to if you had taken a different route.,

Exact same story as mine... I was just killing my soul for client satisfaction, and I ruined my entire creativity, just like a zombie.

you spend all this time creating and editing videos for youtube only to end up with less than 10 views in one month.
