I do not use multi-coloured colour analysis flags to perform a colour analysis on somebody as I personally cannot see the 7 checks I do clearly with these flags. These multi-coloured flags are fantastic demonstration tools though! In this post I walk you through a visual on why I do not use these flags to perform a colour analysis. Would you be willing to cover more of what you mean by seasonal skin quality (eg opaque for autumn). It’s made sense when you’ve covered it for one season in one video (eg this person’s skin has spring qualities), but it would be interesting and helpful to see a comparison of winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Thanks for your videos! I really appreciate how passionate and yet humble you are, always acknowledging the variation in systems/approaches and that some individuals may elect to choose colors outside of their season to blend in. You clearly care about people as much (more!) than colors. :)

Love this method! I saw someone do an analysis with multi-colored flags and it was so confusing.

I absolutely see a more sallow effect with the lighter blue against your skin. The darker purple-y color really acts as a stage for you and your skin coloring. That's pretty amazing

I think this was extremely helpful. Over time I've begun to believe that eye color can be a distraction rather than a help in determining season. My daughter Is a perfect example. She's cool with snow white type features and I've been certain she's a winter. However she's able to pull off Olive green and dark brown that are not in the palette because they blend so well with her hair color and make her dark Hazel eyes look more green. But pure black & white are the best colors for her skin as well as icy pink and other traditional true winter colors.

Is a have seen so many of those (too) quick online consultation videos where the consultant just uses those multi colour strips. How could those ever be effective? Also, yes there is a tendancy to match colours to eyes and think, ahah, in that group then! A real consultation is a careful, in deep process and requires an experienced, properly trained consultant, such as yourself.

I can’t wait to have you do my analysis one day!!!! I’m so mid. Mid hue. Mid value. Mid chroma. 🤣🫣 so, so many look ok (imo) as long as they’re neutral, but I can’t be them all!

@@chriskiefel7735 yes!!! I like to believe I’m not emotionally committed/invested in any one specific palette, so I don’t think I’ll be disappointed with the results. I’ve genuinely considered (almost) every group/sub group 🫣
