Plus, it appears that not only do you get more gold crushing the quartz, but less black sand, too. Sure makes panning and retrieving a lot easier I would think. Much appreciated.

Those are some rich rocks. I've only crushed a few here and there over the year and mostly just panned. And like you say most areas I get less than half that rock in a day. Time to go back to all those creeks and rivers I've decided were not worth panning and collect a wide variety of quartz to find which one it's hiding in. Out of the dozen or so I did crush only one of them had gold but I could not remember where I had collected it at. I guess I gave up rock crushing too soon perhaps.

Hello If possible, explain a little about the geology and the mountains containing quartz sheets

Hardly any one is aware of this abundance in the rock where I live and I think it's awesome that you post this!! 😊i will say, I am studying this same state of gold and agree that, the Creek is not anything near the solid rocks gold content and it's a really good feeling after smashing a lot of stones and getting a bunch of values. This gold, in this form, I have struggled to make a bullion or anything as such from this state to yellow bricks. Gold already transformed in electrical parts and old jewelry is not the same process nor do they really change characteristics with ease. If you have any tips on the success of it i will be very appreciative

You should try to make glass with your rock, the gold, silver, tin, copper, lead should concentrate in a button and everything else will go into the glass

I agree with you and I have found a lot of great gold ore in the Angeles Forest thanks to you! Do you want some help at your mine this summer? I live in Los Angeles and I have my own vehicle, with flexible availability. I want to learn more about mining and processing high grade gold ore.

@@myadventure7069 I have knee problems too after an accident and surgery two years ago. I hope my knee stays okay for now :) I found a very interesting and large vein of what I think is nearly pure chalcopyrite or nearly pure gold... it was next to a creek where people have found gold nuggets int he past... and there is a lot more of it where I found it. First I need to know if it is Gold or Chalcopyrite. How do you know which it is? Can I send you pictures? If it is gold, I will need to find someone to help me process it and I think you are the best

@jeffemoss when you see the gold you recognize it with no problem But if you looking to that ore and see gold shine ewriwhere that is no gold . Gold was liquid one time and was flowing between quartz layers so gold is in those places . Pyrite is ewriwhere in quartz and was creaited in the same time with quartz and is mixed with quartz. To the surface of the earth gold come last that way you see gold between quartz layers and normally in the last layer. But to tell you I need to see that rock if you have photos send it to my email romas124@hotmail.com

I try different methode to extract gold and it turns out the usage of mercury is indeed the easiest. I made myself a RETORT to recover the mercury the I burn the amalgam. So I can use mercury again.
