This has nothing to do with this ad but I want to say this. The Co-op like many retailers recently have stopped using Best Before dates to save on food waste. That's a very good idea and I totally support that well meaning intention. Unfortunately it doesn't work out quite so well in the real world. I go to my local Co-op and see baskets full of veg so past their best it's bizarre. Baskets full of bright yellow, stale old broccoli that no-one in their right mind is going to buy are still on sale because there are no Best Before dates any more.

Dear Coop, please stop putting emulsifiers, E numbers, flour treatment agents, and seed oils in your food. With the UK experiencing record cancer levels, you think you would help us out, but no, gotta think of the profits first. Come on, guys, get it together because I'm not buying toxic food anymore.
