Honestly the more I think about it, Hazel was pretty similar to Harley Quinn. Just her obsessive love life and laugh makes for a really good comparison, and the pigtails.

The problem with Disney shows is the longer they go on the more they boil down their characters personalities. Happened on Jessie, happened on A.N.T, lab rats, etc etc

I thought Bunk'd was an okay show (in my opinion, it was good from Seasons 1 to 2, but went downhill since Season 3), and the only thing I liked about Hazel was how well you brought her to life, Tessa. You were amazing on there. They were right when they said "Hate the character, Love the actor/actress". 😁👍

I feel like bunk’d was always going to be limited as a Jessie spin-off because the actors couldn’t pretend to be kids for much longer and it wouldn’t make logical sense for young adults to keep going to summer camp. and when you take the Ross kids and original cast members like you out you lose half an audience of nostalgic Jessie fans and people that liked bunk’d how it was

That’s crazy because I’m a 90s baby I grew up with Disney OG, and knowing that most of the actors and actresses that I grew up with watching and admiring went through so much with Disney and Disney producers 😭 a lot of them ended up having drug issues 😢 because of things they went through. Which hurts my heart . It sounds to me like maybe things changed a little which is good, I’m really glad you or other actors and actresses hopefully didn’t have the same experience 💜. I’m glad things were really amazing 🤩 for y’all

A lot of them were just overworked, and kind of... rebelled against them. You notice it's mostly the Nickelodeon actors and actresses who went crazy, though. 90's and 2000s Nickelodeon had awesome cartoons but the sitcoms were.... yikes! You got Dirty Dan Schneider to blame for people like Amanda Bynes and Jeannette McCurdy going through all that. Jeanette mostly stayed normal but she developed an ED thanks to that fat rat

tbh, the people who worked on Bunk'd ruined it after season 1 and 2. They got rid of our favs, (Tiffany, Jorge, Xander, Hazel) Then after season 3, they got rid of the Rosses. Season 4 was better-ish but I still missed the icons. Then when Gwen left, (Scarlet Estevez) and like I was disappointed. I searched up season 6 of Bunk'd to see if anything has changed or if they've started production on it. They got rid of like most of the good ones! im mad but just my thoughts.

I liked the first 2 seasons of Bunk'd, but after those seasons it wasn't very enjoyable for me. I liked the original cast and how it was a Jessie spin off. I didnt really get why they would almost entirely change the cast and honestly was really sad to see most of the characters go and be replaced. Especially Hazel.

This was so wholesome and fun to watch. You’re bubbly personality is just so contagious and positive. I love it. I thought I wasn’t gonna like Bunk’d after season two but I was wrong. I really did like season four as well but not too much with the fifth season. Which btw, is so shocking that Disney actually made a fifth season for a show since usually they go up to four and that’s it. It’s rare that they’ll make a fourth season for a show as well since ratings aren’t too high with some shows. But now the new Bunk’d spin-off is just... Wow. I have no words yet a lot to say lol. I’m just not a big fan of that. Esp for the fact that Destiny is only about 13-14 and already a counselor when in the first two seasons you needed to be older just to be a CIT and not only that but the kids she’s a counselor for are literally a year or two younger than her. Like they’re almost the same age. Sure Destiny acts much older than her age but that alone making her a counselor feels weird to me cuz when it comes down to it, she’s still a kid. I mean at least have her campers be under 10 or something. Not basically her age 😂 It just doesn’t make any sense to me. Last thing that makes me so freaking sad and confused is why the hell is Bunk’d not on Disney+ I mean it’s clearly insanely loved, why can’t they just add it there. I googled it and the reason just doesn’t make sense to me. Just add it and call it a day. Why make such a big deal to not put it on there. Literally like every other show on earth all the way back from 1940 and probably before that is on the app yet Bunk’d isn’t. It’s just messed up.

I think bunk'd is interesting, because it was a spin-off from Jessie, the series that made a big part of me. I found Hazel quite irritating, but her idea was quite interesting. It's weird this video just dropping on my timeline, lol.

I liked bunkd until season 3. The Ross kids and good characters leaving went downhill. It wasn’t funny after that. Hazel was my fav character and also zuri. I loved how u portrayed her as the crazy character cuz it was pretty realistic.

I remember when I was younger and Bunk’d had first come out, I used to mimic Hazel’s laugh to the point where my mom would think I was watching the show. She would think that I was watching TV when instead I was just laughing at my older brothers.

Man I haven't watched the show in years. Tessa netting just gave me a Blast of nostalgia again. I gotta say though, I was attracted to a few characters when I was younger, but it wasn't ever hazel, but now I see her as very attractive. Kinda funny how younger me would see it vs me now.

2:21 that's a good theory about BUNK'D, but what about Raven's Home? (That's So Raven spin-off) Because that Disney show is getting a S5 during 2022, and they are basically "soft rebooting" the show with most of the main cast (aside from Raven and Booker) leaving the show, just like with BUNK'D, and Raven's Home isn't even on Netflix.

I feel like the Hazel character was reversed sexism incarnate. Like...if a guy treated a girl the way Hazel treated Xander....it would have been called out so fast. Disney, and media in America in general, just loooooves to be problematic. (Ex. Luke in Jessie, a literal CHILD, being overly sexualized by making him act like a toxic womanizer.) I still enjoy Disney shows and stuff, don’t get me wrong, but I watch I like to critic it for myself and for fun. I can watch something while acknowledging the problematic parts of it.

I'm 31 years old, I grew up watching the Disney channel too and I absolutely loved your character, I was actually sad when you were no longer there. My nieces were asking: "Hey! Where is Hazel??!! She is fun to watch!!!" They pretty much stopped watching the show after season 3. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed playing her character so much. I wish you the best in whatever you are working on now!

I liked season one and two of Bunk'd; three was ok; and four was just... questionable. Season three was ok, but it was just confusing why Xander, Jorge, Tiffany, Hazel, and Griff left without any sort of explanation. (Gladys left too, but it's said in the first episode that she took the money sent in from families and ran.) Another thing is that Destiny, Finn, and Matteo kind of felt like they were trying to be the Ross kids 2.0 (Destiny was most like Emma; Finn was similar to Luke; and Matteo was like Ravi). Originally, I had thought that the show was going to end once the third season was over since Emma, Ravi, and Zuri were leaving. But then it came back with a fourth season. The show is meant to be a Jessie spinoff, but then the rest of the Jessie original cast got kicked off. I think I had stopped watching it about a few episodes in to season four.

you describe this perfectly. the first two seasons were SO dang good (in my opinion) and i wish they didnt take the og's out so early. why i miss each character : emma - every time she came to the screen something stupid happened and it just made it better ravi - bc he's ravi. zuri - ive liked her character since jessie first came out. jorge (i forgot how to spell his name sry) - he was such a fun and spunky character that brought so much happiness (and stink) into the show. griff - HE WAS SUCH A GOOD FRICKIN CHARACTER. CANT CHANGE MY MIND. xander - didnt love him, but still made little me laugh alot. gotta give him credit for that. gladys - i mean, without her it didnt feel like bunk'd anymore 💀 and the best of the best, HAZEL!!! - i know lots of people didnt like her, but i frickin LOVED hazel. she was so spunky that i couldnt not love her!!!
