Here’s why I took a one-way flight from Paris, France to Athens, Greece six weeks ago and haven’t looked back since! Making this video was quite emotional and therapeutic for me hints at the delayed upload. So much has happened since my arrival here that I can’t wait to share with all of you. Stay tuned for more of SavvyC in Athens!
Thanks for watching! As always, I’m sending my love to you wherever you are in the world watching this. See you in the next one:) Bisous xx

Girl you are a whole BOSS. You handled the situation with your parents like a BOSS. It sucks that they didn't support your decision to stay in Paris but you still came out on the winning side. Keep going girl you got this.

Thanks for watching! That was one of, if not, the toughest part of this journey. In their eyes, me staying in Europe meant continued suffering, so they wanted me to go back to the States and be home/"safe and sound." Once I realized that this could've easily happened to me back home and I saw what some of my friends were going through my gut told me stay here. It's been such a rollercoaster, but day by day I'm getting back on my feet and creating a new life for myself here.

@@TheSavvyCScoop Kind of crazy to me considering the general situation in the U.S. right now in terms of safety. Glad you're getting back on your feet, I'm an American applying for a French entrepreneur visa and I can already tell this will be a nightmare 😂Glad it was seemingly easy for you

Bonne chance et merci beaucoup! French bureaucracy isn't for the weak of heart, but it's so worth it on the other side. What made my process so "easy" was the fact that I have a Master's degree that's recognized by both the French and US government. Not sure if you want to sign yourself up for two years of graduate school in France haha but that's what allows me stay in France/Europe long-term.

@@TheSavvyCScoop this may "rub" you the wrong way but the reason i asked is because i consider black women to be a bit racist in that regard. Before you "chew" me out I'll just say that I've been in many places all over the world (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Cyprus and of course Greece where I'm from) and even though i see black men with white women somewhat regularly i almost never see black women with white guys. On top of that sometimes i see KZfaq videos with black women saying that they want to keep the black blood pure and stuff like that and that's why they don't date white men. So basically i don't know, in an era where the word racism is being thrown out there on a daily basis (and for good or bad from the black to the white community mostly) how can things like that be considered normal/proper? Sorry to put you in a bad spot, but this is a thought I've had for many years now and honestly i just can't figure it out (don't know if you're like that but regardless of that do you find it normal/proper?).
