Awesome, thank you Pastor Holly, when we lift our hands, just like you said, it's a sign of Surrender. Sometimes we go through so much, that we just need to leave All outside the door and just think on the goodness of GOD and everything that HE did for us all.

I was raised Catholic so when I got saved it was so refreshing to see the act of raising my hands and clapping. I had been delivered from such darkness that I could not contain myself from doing either because I was so full of joy, gratitude, and praise I HAD to lift my hands.

Oh WOWW I FELT THIS🙌🙌🙌. I remember the first time I felt moved to RAISE MY HANDS. I was about 6 years old on the second pew from the back in a little church in south Arkansas called GREEN GROVE CHAPEL. We were right in front of the back row of the youth and i can remember that feeling. MY HEART WAS MOVED BY THE MUSIC AND I RAISED MY HANDS LIKE THE GROWN UPS WERE DOING and somebody on the row behind me LAUGHED when i did. I can remember jerking my little hands down and feeling a hot flushed feeling all over me. IT HAPPENED TO BE THE PREACHERS SON that was laughing and i let that one little moment hold my hands almost completely captive until about 4 years ago🙌🙌🙌. NOW I CAN NOT PUT THESE FREE HANDS DOWN. 🙌🙌🙌 THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS. IF WE CAN GET ALL PUMPED UP ABOUT WORLDY PEOPLE AND GAMES THEN WE SHOULD BLOW THE ROOF TOP OFF WITH PRAISES TO OUR SAVIOR🙌🙌🙌 KEEP SHINING LIGHTS💡💡💡🙏🙏🙏💚🦋 P.S. I remember mine personal experience, encounter with God I was listening to the Fresh wind by Hillsong worship and I was singing along then I felt this thing in me and my hands were lifted up and I was shaking and I was feeling something in me that I can't even find a word to describe it But I've known that was because God was pouring His Holy spirit in me thats what I call it encounter with My God for the First time I guess And from that moment everything has been changing in my life🙌🏻🤍 Praise the LORD Almighty 🙌🏻✝️🤍

I love you Pastor Holly! You are such a true, faithful and beautiful vessel for Gods wordings I love to raise my hands in worship, for the exact reasons you said. My favorite is to lift my hands in surrender, it changes the way I feel the second I do that and cam feel the weight I'm carrying being lifted off of me as I give it to God and allow his perfect will to be done. My other favorite is to raise my hands palms up, ready to receive from heaven. Elevation Church is the only church I've ever attended that can seem to get even the most stubborn of people to, at some point, raise their hands in worship and praise to our heavenly father, I believe its because Elevation is a place where people dont feel judged or scared, they are surrounded by others that make everyone feel welcome and where everyone is so on fire for God that you just can't stop. Your hands from going up! Praise God for you and pastor Steven, I thank God everyday for Elevation Church!

thank you so much, Ms. Holly for this video... I remember one day crawling to my phone to click onto church @5:13 I was exhausted but by the end I was so grateful, in tears because the word I received was fuel for my spirit ... And I remember a time i was in what felt like a wrestle with myself in the valleys of an eating disorder & spiritual battle and I was listening to a sermon clip preached by Pastor Steven and then Pastor Holly (via KZfaq autoplay, thank You Lord for working through my KZfaq feed) and I just kept barely lifting my hands because it was all I could do, my body feeling limp on the indoor cycle I was spinning on (spinning like my mind had been for what felt like days, but now still in exhaustion), and God's peace came upon me, light and gentle and loving as a feather as Pastor Furticks's prayers and words they'd received from the Lord flowed like a salve onto me and my own aches ... In surrender, in welcome, I've lifted my hands because no words came from even my own thoughts other than, "please take this Lord, I'm here and I need You." Thank you so much, Ms. Holly for this video because my depth of gratitude deepens more for Our Good God because in remembering those times I see how far He's shepherded me... His past faithfulness is a solid foundation my heart can rest on forevermore; my body's strength may be near depleted, but if I try to move forward my heart set on Him, trusting that my steps will be established by Him, I know that whether I rest or move, it's going to be ok. What He has will be better than I can ask, think, or imagine, according to His power. He's working it all... Oh thank You Lord. I didn't know that my life would be past that cycle and that battle... but the Lord was faithful to rescue me and bring me into a new season and new dawn... and so I lift my hands for Him. Christianity has been practiced as spiritistic activity. Even if no one sees the fruits of the spirit exercized daily. Bow before God is humility.
