It's not just dua lipa! Actually, Argentina is considered by many artists and bands as "the best audience in the world". We are very passionate about concerts and music in general, so every time any artist comes to play for us we scream and sing our hearts out. If you ever go to another concert here, you'll see!

We went to Iguazu Falls and were unable to find a hotel room on our return due to the city having Coldplay there for several days, plus a marijuana expo plus a gay pride event. Guess people are really into their activities. I heard people were coming in from all over South America.

People in Argentina love concerts! Coldplay came here 2 weeks ago and it was a total success. They performed 10 consecutive shows with full capacity (60.000 people). I think that the main reason is how passionate people are.

I was raised in Buenos Aires but moved to Florida, U.S. a couple months ago and I really felt the difference in so many ways. The people, the non city life, lack of transportation here. So many things that Argentinians themselves don’t notice they do have. Most of the Argentinians complain about what they don’t have (of course they are right in many of them) but for me personally, I learned to appreciate my Buenos Aires a lot more❤️

The thing I liked most about Argentina was how incredible kind everyone was. People were always coming forward to help whether we were on a city bus, in a buffet line or just trying to purchase something in a store. One gal gave me her private phone number so I could call her if we had any problems. The owner of one the AirBnB's we stayed at actually offered for us to stay in his private home when we were unable to find a room when we came back to Ushuaia.

Well, London isnt exactly the safest place in Europe maybe thats why. I didnt feel safe at all in Quito, Lima, Santiago de Chile and Bs Aires. I mean yeah it is safer than other countries in south and central america, but that safer meaning pickpockets wont stab you to death for 5€ or a cell phone, they'll just be nice enough to let you live, in most cases.

I can't tell you just how fulfilling it feels to hear you talk so lovingly of Argentina. You really did hit a lot of essential points of the country that aren't that talked about generally, and tbh you made me appreciate my own country so much more. I personally believe that the reason why the country and the people are so welcoming is not only because people are predisposed to acting that way, but also because your willingness to inmerse yourself in the culture shows through. I'm really glad you're enjoying your time here, and I wish you the best. Ps I am really excited for you to experience the world cup, it really is just something else here.

As a vegetarian porteña who mostly eats vegan (cuz lactose intolerance) I energetically recommend you to try some of this places ✨ - Buenos Aires Verde (Palermo): Is an amazing restaurant, probably the best when it comes to veggie - tasty - tru healthy food balance. - Gordo vegano (Belgrano): This place is not just aesthetic, but also tasty and abundant food - Ainara (Palermo): Classic argentinian ice cream shop, but 100% vegan - Guerrin (San Nicolas/Obelisco): This is not a veggie resto, but the most iconic argentinian pizza place, and they have 2 vegan options!! (vegan margarita is a must) -And I could go on, but last, if you want to try classic argentinian empanadas (as you probably know, the classic ones are made of meat, but there's tasty vegan alternatives!), Futuro veggie (Recoleta) or Gordo vegano (Belgrano) are the two places to go. I love seeing you are really enjoying buenos aires and have now a very accurate view about it ✨💖 PD: yes, the world cup is going to be a crazy moment, specially on Argentina games, there's going to be no one at the streets, because everyone, even people who normally don’t care that much about soccer will be seeing or hearing the game

I was born and raised in Argentina, Buenos Aires and I watched this to see an outsiders perspective, since almost everyone I know, including me, wants to get the hell out of this place asap. It was interesting to see that for you, the experience was almost the complete opposite to locals I know and I literally laughed at the safety part, the high end places are probably fine but as soon as you get out of there, you can't pay me enough to go out and walk around at night alone, specially outside of Capital.

Circulo militar (Retiro) there is a reataurant there call Croque Madam that has great food and you get to see beautiful gardens and the architecture is amazing. 4. Teahouse tealosophy (Palermo) it is really pretty and if you like tea they are the best teas in Argentina. 5. You should go to a wine testing, there are a lot of options I like Wining (Palermo). 6. Parque chas. Beautiful small neighborhood. 7. You have to go to the abierto de polo de Palermo, and whatch some argentine polo. The polo season started this month so you should get tickets as soon as possible. If you want more tips just ask, I hope it helps!

Hi Jade! I m from Buenos Aires Argentina and I m very glad that you liked Buenos Aires so much!! I recently saw one of your videos from here and then I was watching other previous videos of yours that seemed very interesting to me like the ones you did in Berlin... This year I made a trip to Europe and spent a few days in Berlin... What a wonderfull city!! I also love England and I've been to London several times. I love it. It's great that you can travel while you study your degree... !! I find your videos very interesting...you're very nice and they also help me to practice my English by listening...haha I'm a Dua Lipa fan...too!! And I was at the concert here in Buenos Aires this year...also...I loved it! It's good that you are going to get to know other parts of Argentina that you will surely love because Argentina has very beautiful places and with so many different views... Like the south... Patagonia... Bariloche etc... And also if you can go to the north Salta and Jujuy looks different and you'll love it too... Argentina is a very beautiful country, its people are very friendly..And friendship and family are very important for argentinos people. Too bad it's been many years and years since politically and economically we're not doing well... I'll keep watching your Videos!! Cheers!!! 🤗

Interesting about the world cup. In Europe I’m getting the feeling that many companies and people are boycotting it because of the human rights violations. I usually care for it but will ignore it this time. I was also in BA this year and love it, can’t wait to be back next year.

Same, I was kinda surprised when she mentioned it because I think if she'd be in Europe right now, she'd have heard much more about the whole issue. As far as I can understand the longing for this certain World Cup feeling, but we should all put ourselves back and try to not watch it, at the end of the day it's just football.

im from a small town in the south of argentina and its always been my dream to live in buenos aires but i still can't afford to move there. its so sad that people from all over the world can live their best life here except for the ones who where born in this country 💔 but its lovely to hear you saying such nice things about it! living here can be so exasperating sometimes, we're pretty much blindfolded by how bad the economic situation is and it's easy to forget how beautiful the place we live in can be. and btw, patagonia will be waiting for you :-)

@itwillend
@itwillend Жыл бұрын
@Javierolizola89
@Javierolizola89 Жыл бұрын

Thank you for giving such an honest and heartwarming insight into your experience as an exchange student in Argentina. I really appreciate the fact that you state everything that you are currently enjoying here and also mention how painful and difficult our past and present economic and political situation is. As a young adult, it's getting harder and harder to picture my future living here and working for my country, my generation is losing faith. But hearing you speak in such awe makes me value over and over again everything we have. Thank you for loving this land and for finding casual magic here! If you ever come to Entre Ríos, I live in a city where you can see an Uruguayan town from our riverside, and sometimes it's even possible to shout from one shore to the other and get a response back. Uruguay is just a bridge away :)
