Good show guys, I am a Kenyan but I have also been to Uganda so many times. things don't happen overnight, its a journey and Uganda will get there. it took Kenya 20 years to invest heavily on the internet, to now having free Wi fi on some streets. its a journey and Uganda will have affordable internet and that will attract more people to youtube, and tiktok

Ohhh please don’t wish that upon them. We’re close enough. They can visit. They don’t need the destruction which full capitalism leaves in it wake. It’s the last of the truly beautiful rural places you can go to find out how God made the earth. Jungles. Animals. Rivers . I hope it never changes. I hope Ugandans learn the value of what they have and protect it.

The best thing about Kenya is how accommodating and open-minded everyone is. I started noticing this way back in the early 2000's when there was an influx of South Sudanese immigrants and they were welcomed and assimilated in the Kenyan system. In addition there are Somalis, Ethiopians, Rwandese and of late Congolese people in large numbers living, working and socializing freely in Kenya. This is the African Spirit we hope to see nurtured across borders this decade. Kudos to this channel and the team for being part of the revolution.

On the other hand, not only are Kikuyu speakers a lot, but the language is mutually intelligible with the Embu, Ambeere language, even the Kamba language. So a lot of folks tune in to Kikuyu TikTok, KZfaq. Lastly, might not be a big edge on Luyhas & Kales, but Kikuyus do on average have more spending power, more exposed, closer to Nairobi and the amenities that Nai has, like stable electricity, which comes quite handy when consuming content.

I’m a Kenyan currently living in Kampala. The irony is that despite being born and raised in Nairobi and with all the ease of convenience that it has to offer in comparison to UG, I prefer it here than at home. Maybe it’s an age factor (I’m in my late 30s) but I really don’t care for all the hustle and bustle that is Nbi. There’s a vibe with Ugandan people generally, that I enjoy. Ofcourse there are some annoyances here and there with life here, but overall, I love it here. And yes, all I see around here is boundless opportunities. The average Kenyan hustler would really thrive over here

@rhoenasshenanigans8332 What I know about Uganda is that they're under a dictatorship. And you can't compare a dictated country to a democratic country, simple. Show me a developed dictated country and please don't mention Rwanda because roads isn't development, and if you think its it shows how your dictatorship propaganda has won over your minds. I repeat Uganda will remain backwards as long as its under the rule of one mind and it's ideas.

One thing i have realised with ugandans,they are not attention seekers,they are not competiting with any other country.they do their own way coz they like their life style in their country. So comparison is uncalled for. Each country is unique in its own way.

Hello you all! Thank you for having this podcast. I stumbled upon this podcast last week or so and I enjoy it very much. I'm glad you are created this podcast because there was so much to learn. There was a lot to learn about the different countries of Africa than what I've researched already or heard about. I like the fact how you and all other guests talk about traveling to different countries in Africa before settling and I also enjoyed the topics that you are come up with. I was always interested in Africa since I was a kid. I also love the music more so the the older African music. I also love the accents regardless what part of Africa you are from I'm from New York but my parents originally from haiti. So it's just good to know about other black countries. Keep up the good work and I hope this podcast last for last for how many years to come. All of you and your guests drop a lot of wisdom and open one's eyes about many things. And greatly appreciate it. You are also crack me up. Especially that gentleman Bran with his nice looking self. God bless you all, be well and and be safe. Much love

Thanks guys for the work done. but Home is home, the best weakness we have some Africans is that we hate our homes and we love our neighborhoods the most or other countries. its good to love them but you have to priorities your home country, its ok to go to other countries because they are far way better than us, learn something good, bring it home and develop your home country too. Make your home a better place to be. its starts with you. Some go for greener pastures. But once the deal is done. come back and change your home.

There's a low key African brain-drain moving towards Kenya but don't worry, there has been a high key brain-drain from Kenya to the West. However, one of Kenya's greatest income earner is the diaspora remittances. So if Kenya is creating an African diaspora then that is good for all Africans.

As a Kenyan, I can definitely attest to the fact that Kenya’s internet connectivity and speed is among the best in Africa, if not the whole world 🌍 For people like me who do business online, or any other businesses that are online based like vlogging, blogging, e-commerce and such, then Kenya 🇰🇪 is definitely the best place to be 😊👍 Trust me, even KZfaqrs from other African countries like Nigeria, Uganda, Burundi and many more are flocking to Kenya to enjoy our fast and reliable internet connections! The fact that a Kenyan KZfaqr can create a video and it gets hundreds of thousands of views within a short time shows you the crazy number of people who are online in Kenya 🇰🇪 And it’s only going to get better as our government has plans to build over 100,000 Km of fiber optic networks and 25,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots across Kenya by 2025! But even as we currently speak, there are a lot of options to choose from in Kenya as far as ISPs are concerned, and this competition allows the cost of internet to be cheaper and reliable at the same time! Not forgetting the entry of starlink in Kenya this month, and Safaricom also plans to offer satellite internet services via starlink’s rival AST SpaceMobile! Having said that, Kenya 🇰🇪 wants to establish itself as the digital and technology hub of Africa! And I believe we are on the right track to achieving this objective!

With almost 30 million luganda speakers in Uganda, non luganda content creators will always have something of an uphill climb. Then sometimes English comes off as elitist or simply unfamiliar.

Listen facts are facts. There seems to be a certain easiness in Kenya rather than ug that manifest even through the great vine #kaboozi. As for me it's been two decades since I stepped foot back home.

There was a time all kenyans were going to makerere university what happened,that shows you Uganda was better sometime back but i can see opportunities there
@bonfacewaweru1603
@bonfacewaweru1603 10 ай бұрын
That was the case in the last millenia because university education worked like this, Uganda's Makerere was designated for the arts and social sciences, Tanzania is where law students went, health sciences and engineering students went to Kenya but this has changed. Another reason is education is cheap in Uganda.

I believe it is the government to negotiate for its people with monetarizibg content. Kenyan government has worked with companies like youtube, tik tok, and creat governing law to monetarize content.

Kenya oh my goodness are we that good 😮. First reason, internet is available everywhere and Kenyans are very good in getting the best out of everything making us spend on quality, so it's fast and affordable internet for us.Last two presidents invested so much in infrastructure and in digital world. Lastly, our diaspora communities invest so so much in Kenya not only in finances but they have serious investments here
