Probably the question I get asked the most. For Anti Bullying week I wanted to create this special video, and take you behind the scenes on my short film 'You Look Disgusting' and talk you through my story, and why I made it. I hope you enjoy, and I hope it helps. xx

My wife had acne issues, she follows your channel and helped her to going through this. I was in a depression and little could do for her, so i'd like to thank you for sharing this, for helped she and thousands and thousands of people who doesn't know what to do in a situation like this. Thank you! I just think that people forgot what love really is in a world full of walls of prejudice. No one cares about others feelings anymore, this is really sad! I had more than one teenager love that had acne problems, and you know, i used to look into the eyes and see what lies beyond the surface. To love is not only kiss, hang out or have sex, is empathy, is to be there even if in silence. I made some mistakes when my wife were passing through it, but i love her and love the ones who helped her in anyway!

This really made me cry, I am legit in tears. Everything you said I 100% agree with, nowadays people always judge a book by it's cover. My skin is awful, I wear makeup everyday because I am so insecure, I cannot take a picture without makeup on because I can't even look at myself without it, when I wear makeup I feel so confident, I feel like I look pretty, it makes me happy, I am so happy you made this video, because I feel like I always have to wear makeup now, some days I want to just let my skin feel free and not wear makeup, but because of my insecurities, I feel like I am going to be judged every second and I feel so hideous, I wish people would accept everyone's beauty, because people nowadays are so brainwashed by looks, it makes me so sad, to know that people only judge a book by it's cover and it upsets me because most people can't even take a chance on someone just by how they look. I just want to say thank you for making this video, you are truly beautiful outside and inside and you really helped me feel more confident.

I am a teenager...my acne is horrible....I have scars that won't go away....my mum says I am pretty but I have ruined my skin...she won understand that I have zero control over it...people at school would make fun of me...some days I just wanna don't look at my reflection....I feel disgusting

I’m a boy but I still know how it feels to look at your own reflection and not want to look I know how it is for people to look at you like your some kind of monster and I know how it feels to be called names be judged because of my skin colour I have olive skin lots of people would die for it sure it tans well but most of the time it just looks green and my veins are very showy and people Jude me by that and I can relate to this video your comment is very touching thank you and I’m going to subscribe to you

What you don't realise is that make up make things worse. I had acne but I'm a male so I never thought of makeup. My sister is like me and she was putting makeup on her face and her acne was looking really bad until she stoped. I can also give my opinion on makeup, I find it disgusting and I would prefer a woman with acne any day. I don't say that acne is attractive but it's still better than makeup and there is treatments against acne. So basically, if you don't like your skin, try to improve it, not hide it.

im 16 and have acne, i hate it, i cry i would love clear skin. iv basically given up on my acne. i dont have instagram, you tube or any social media account, when i saw some of those hate comments people said to you, it made me cry because people would probably say that about me too

I've had acne for years, I'm about to turn 17, a couple of people used to comment on my skin, but thankfully, I never listened to them. My skin still breaks out from time to time but i have friends who stick by me and love me for me. I hope you have someone like that too

I suffer from acne and it is one of the core reasons why I can't handle insecurity sometimes. You, however, have been my rock on this issue. I never thought you looked bad or ugly. I just thought you were a human who loved makeup and had a few pimples. And because you have pimples and acne is why I love watching your videos. Especially when you test foundation, because I trust your opinion on them more. If it works for you it will mean that it is really worth the money and that it is full coverage. I love that you make videos about this kind of stuff making people aware of what is really going on not just going on with you, but with other people going through the same thing as you. I felt you through this and i am currently facing a similar issue of self confidence these days, but it gets better, and the only thing you really need to realize is how important your opinion of yourself is and how other people’s opinions don’t matter. This is such a beautiful video, it really brought tears to my eyes. Acne doesn't define you as a human being!!! People that just want to hurt others by saying cruel things and make nasty comments just show how they actually feel about themselves and how insecure they are by hurting others... it's the only way they feel good. It's so simple to say a couple of words and scar someone for life, by making this video you reminded us how much power we have by using our words. I love that you have made this! My skin was so so bad throughout all of high school and sixth form, I went to the doctors may times about it and for 2 years maybe, my skin was clear, I loved it! But this year when I started uni my skin has become so bad again, I was so much confident but now my spots are all back I don't feel like o was before. I constantly feel ugly when I look in the mirror without makeup, I feel like everyone is looking at my spots. You are an artist Em what you do with makeup is incredible but your face with out the makeup is just stunning. Your bone structure is insane! Your eyes are beautiful and your personality shines through past any acne or blemish mark but it makes you so interesting to watch and an inspiration for me to walk out of the house with a massive spot and think F**k it there’s much worse things happening in the world for me to care about covering a few spots!

I came to your channel because we have the same skin issues (adult acne), and you've always been such an inspiration, and I don't mean it just because of your make up skills, but because someone else was as upset as I was, and trying to put through and live another day with acne just the same way I was too. You're so brave Em! I admire your work because you gave me hope and made me learn I could look good even at my worst moments. You've been a friend. New subscriber here. I cried so hard watching this because I had acne all through my 20s and I know how it obliterates your self-esteem. I don't think I'd have had the courage to reveal so much of myself in a public way, but I'm so glad you did. You have a beautiful soul, and ultimately, that counts for much more. Thanks for sharing. I have been watching your vids for awhile but never really commented because I didn't know if you'd ever see them or if I'd make a fool of myself lol.
