You’re very lucky too, because she obviously feels the same way about you. I can relate, because I also married outside my race. I’m white & my husband was African American. While we didn’t have a language barrier, we did have a 13 year age difference to contend with as well. He was actually 40 yrs old, when finally had our son. We ultimately shared 40 wonderful years together, before he was sadly taken away from me this last year. I sincerely wish you & your wife a very long & happy life together. This was great. No beating around the bush.. speaking directly and addressing the murmurs and getting right to it and dropping a lil knowledge at the same time. Ty for I am attracted to all men including Korean but, at times I get discouraged bc of the way many react to me or even some of the questions I am asked and the assumptions they make of me just bc my skin is not dirty... its naturally brown.

I applaud you & your wife. Love comes in many different colors, shapes & sizes. You have to follow your heart for Life is too short for regrets. As long as the person believes in God, has good character & integrity, takes care of family, supports education and is a humble person--one can be friends and see how it develops. He was right, 20 years ago, mixed marriages were difficult. I use to fly as crew for Northwest Airlines and travelled to South Korea often to visit friends (Seoul, Incheon City & Pusan). Many nice men in Korea but their families did not approve of mixed marriages. I'm glad to see things opening up & changing.
