As one who never thought I did, I came to find that GOD was my most urgent need, I just didn't know it yet. This isn't a video about heaven, hell, or telling anybody what they need or don't need: its simply about - why I need God? Consider it a proposal, an opportunity, or a very gentle invitation: and the choice is completely yours.
PLEASE HELP we need you to survive Thank you: www.imbeggar.com/take-action

Honest question to the Christians, did Jesus (peace be upon him) tell you your salvation is in his hands or in God's hands? Who is more worthy of your worship, Jesus (peace be upon him) or God?
@starmc630

@@leckslopi3815we believe in the Holy Trinity. God as God, Jesus as God in human form and the Holy Spirit as God’s messenger. All of these are the same person, but in different aspects if that makes sense (looking up a diagram might help) So by praising Jesus, you’re praising God and His creations. Our salvation however is in Jesus’s hands because he was the one that physically came down and died for our sins

Only one human loves me, my Mom. She is dying. She won't be here to give me her love in person anymore in this world. I was married, sure, I have great friends. They all said they loved me. But, where are they now? I don't get distressed or worry. Because I know God loves me and always has and will. We will see some of the people I mention in the world to come, and they will love me. Because I recognize the love God gives me...I am never alone or ever lonely. He's more than enough.

7:20 This is me. I've been a Christian my whole life, and I have assurance of my salvation, but my upbringing put very little focus on my spiritual being and needs. My environment changed a year ago and now I am surrounded by so many people who even if they don't live on that "highest floor," they've been there and it's marked them. I want so desperately the relationship with God that they have, but the ideas and ways almost feel foreign to me. I think I write this more for myself than for the rest of the internet to see, but I do want to share that even in my struggles, doubts, and questions, I know that God is leading me towards Himself. Even though sometimes it feels like I don't believe it, I know it's true. Stealing this quote from somewhere, but God doesn't write stories that He doesn't finish. My "making it" may never come, but it's His story, not mine.

Wow thanks for sharing. Your top floor make look different than someone else’s but it’s good to be inspired. Just remember comparison is the thief of joy. Great quote. @@ianbuick8946 well, "bad theology", don't forget to whom you talking with, all theologies are bad for me (except daoism, I like it), but of course in various degrees. JW shuck me up in a sense, that I started to reflect on them being too religious, I didn't like their devotion, it seems too alien to me in that time and I avoided being like them, which heavily contributed to my deconstruction overall.

I am 61 an every-time one of these videos are released they hit me in my heart and tears flow. Why? because it hits my heart with truth. All my life I have struggled with the concept of God loving me.... of having any worth in his eyes. I feel like Adam hiding from God after he ate the apple. I cannot pray I desire to but I feel like I choke when I try to talk to him. So I journal the words my heart has.... But still I feel like I hide, knowing full well my whole life is open before him and I cannot hide. When you pray please say one for me.

I struggle with self-condemnation too, and I wish I could say that I’ve overcome it, but here’s a scripture to help both of us: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you a free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2). Also, don’t forget that God sent Jesus for us *knowing* how sinful we are. That’s true love.

”For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.“ ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ You’re no longer naked in Gods sight. He’s clothed you with a robe of righteousness through the blood of Jesus and believing what He did. Now we can come to him boldly at any time, especially the times where you feel like you’re not good enough. Jesus has given us all an A+ report card with God when we just believe what he did for us. ”And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,“ ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ Go to him with a full confidence and knowing that you’re now, in this life, holy and blameless in His sight because of Jesus.

He is a loving God and more importantly the almighty Father. And just like any other father he longs to have a relationship with his children! Take a second to meditate on what He has done in your life. Personally, I’ve been blessed by his deeds in my life and understand that he loves me regardless of my sin. It’s not that I fear condemnation but want to improve myself through him as an act of love for him.

This video is just a pile of empty wishful thinking without any semblance of rational substance. He provides zero evidence to back up his many assertions and so it is just worthless semantics where he 'claims' to know the unknowable. How clever he is to hide the gun that this imaginary god is pointing at your head. "Believe in me or I will shoot you" There is no free will in this proposition. He is inviting people into a world of threats and division even though he cannot provide any evidence that anything he says has any truth to it. So Manti can you please tell me 'how' you personally established that 'your' god is 'actually' real or are your beliefs just random and empty personal opinions just like the video poster?

The one crucial thing I noticed that has been absent in debates, Q&A, street preaching, and even the pulpit.. is holiness. We keep telling non-believers that they can't do good works, but they can.. but God only accepts holiness, which is only through Christ because His blood purifies. We allow the critics put God in 3 stages: all loving, knowing and powerful.. but never counter with holy, merciful and judge.

@@datboi6066 That's a lie from the pit of hell. As a Catholic, we are SURE of our salvation because of the MERCY and LOVE of Christ. Even in our sins, we respond to this love with our good works. Our actions and response to this love are a testament to the conformity our souls have to Christ and our TRUE love for Him. That Janseinist heresy you speak was condemned by the Church long ago. We do good works for the sake of Christ. Who cares if I am "good" (btw I'm not good) if it is not for Christ and a testament to His love???? Our good works are not ours. They are HIS. He has purchased us through His Passion, and we are completely and totally His through His Resurrection and the Spirit. We can do NO good works without Christ. This is why as Christians we CAN be sure of our salvation because of GRACE and MERCY. Freely given by Him. Not earned. Given. And this is the Truth of who Christ is and who we are to become in the Spirit. God Bless.

A KZfaq channel named MindShift made a video responding to this one. Just thought I would let you know. Your videos are really well made too. One issue I find with this video in-particular though is that there's a lot of assumptions being made about what each person wants, needs, or hungers for. Might edit this comment later if anything else sticks out to me but was an interesting video to watch regardless.

Mindshift is very unreasonable with many of his points, he leaves no room for proper translation on biblical issues and thinks he has a bunch of gottchas. At best, he does a good job in some things showing how Christians do not live up to Christianity, but that doesn't make Christianity false, it simply highlights what many who say they are Christians may not be, many are weak in the faith, and many have bought into just what their Church believes, without studying it all out for themselves and so on.

@@joemiller7082 No not really. I think deconstructing from a fundamentalist view would be more accurate, Mindshift came from that and went all the way left, and like I said, much of what he says is unreasonable. I cannot justify a molecules to man belief, I find it would take much more faith for me to believe in that, than we were created. Everyone must rationalize to some degree. I think anyone who believes we are just animals, purposeless, is rationalizing to a much greater degree than someone who believes we are designed with purpose. None of that proves Christianity. I like to separate the two. My belief in God does draw me toward the most evidenced faith, but if I were to find Christianity to be false, I'd still believe in Intelligent Design.

Honestly, I agreed with most of what you said up until the part about Jesus. That’s where it gets tricky. How can anyone possibly know that he is the only one that is right, out of all the other teachers? It sure would be nice and much easier if that were the case - I just feel like it’s a simple answer for a very challenging question. I think you’re right about it being incredibly challenging to go from intellectual to spiritual enlightenment. But there are a lot of assumptions one needs to begin making about the nature of God to assume they would send a savior to show us the way. It could be that, instead of hoping for something outside of life, maybe the point of this life is to experience this life itself, and accept it as it is.

As an agnostic, I can't help but be happy in that second level. I don't have any inner feelings of emptiness. I seek truth by learning about the sciences and learning how things work. I do my best to be morally correct because being immoral makes me feel terrible. I also feel that these values are not gifts from god, but direct products of evolution and humankind. We have morals because it benefits others and increases the community's chances of survival, and our pursuit of truth is what made us superior to other animals. I don't need a god to be happy. I am not a Christian and I'm curious about one of the comments because I tend to hear this a lot. If you're committed to the belief that there absolutely MUST be something else that goes beyond this world and nothing can change that, then is it seriously possible to have a discussion with someone who doesn't think that on a level playing field? I ask because it doesn't seem to be the case for me. The statement "there must be something more" is an immediate discussion ender (or thought-terminator as some other people call it). If a non-believer admits there is a possibility that something else out there (but isn't convinced of it), but the believer has an unshakeable acceptance that there MUST be, then the believer is admitting that it's impossible for a change in their perspective, compared to the unbeliever who admits that they could change their mind. For me it just seems insincere for a believer to want to have a real conversation with people about faith if a believer has made up their mind already (something more MUST exist) and refuses to entertain the mere idea that that simply might not be the case.

I think coming from the Christian perspective it’s not so much the question of possibility but the battle of trying to have a relationship with Him. The ideas of doubt and human curiosity is a situation that all believers have probably went through. But the important thing is putting the will of God into practice and maintaining a relationship with him. So long as you maintain that relationship, you start to find peace. But i think whether you are a believer or not both individuals want answers You either search the world longing for the truth Or realize the truth can’t be found here

@@nathanielnagy1420 Something I've been struggling with understanding for a while is, why is it a battle to to try to have a relationship with God? When I think about having a relationship with my best friends or family, it's not a battle. Sometimes it takes a little effort, but it's never a battle. And that's with my absolute bestest of friends. Supposedly, God is even better than my best friend, so why would it be more difficult to have a relationship with Him than the people in my life? I've tried having a relationship with God, but I've never gotten to meet Him, speak with him, or even received a text message or post card. Just complete silence. I remember when I used to believe in a god. I did for many, many years. I felt “the Holy Spirit” and saw signs everywhere. Yet now, I don’t feel that anymore. I don’t miss it either. I’ve just grown skeptical and more aware of how logic and sound reasoning works. I hate to be the semantic person in the comments, but I just don’t hear anything that’s convincing in this. Sure, it’s mentally pleasing to talk about abstract concepts and for the greater good and mental improvement of ourselves, but I just don’t see how that means that there’s a spiritual realm out there. It just doesn’t add up. It very much sounds like wishful thinking with a side of logical dissonance. I appreciate the positivity of this video, because I’m sure you know the vast number of other ‘different’ types of content surrounding this topic. The typical fire and brimstone preaching, or even just the “atheists get owned compilation #56” type stuff. Even if we disagree on if this spiritual stuff is real, I appreciate your positivity and mood at how you approach the subject. Great video. 👍

I completely understand where you’re coming from. When I was in high school about 10 years ago, I had a come to Jesus moment. I felt the Holy Spirit working in me I had unshakable faith like nothing could come between my relationship with him. Then something terrible happened in my life that made me lose all hope and I became very sad and depressed and lose my faith that God is real. I abandoned the faith for many years as I saw it as a joke. God never answered my prayers or so it seemed. I was heading down the wrong path. I filled my life with all types of carnal pleasures and nothing seemed to fill the void. I committed my life back to Jesus and I struggle daily but I feel a sense of purpose again. & I feel like life’s not all in vain. Life is hard and unpredictable but I know that my belief in God will help me get through to the end. I hope this comment finds you. I totally get where your coming from to at least some extent, I don’t know your story. But, it’s worth looking into again. God bless have a good day.

One thing that i couldnt wrap my head around as an agnostic was how the universe began. Even if everything came from a single point or atom… where did the atom come from? No matter what sci-fi we tell ourselves to digest the scenario it all comes down to requiring an uncausable cause. Something outside of our realm. Here’s a philosophy question for you. Say something comes into existence… why? There is no need for the universe to have “existence” it could remain an empty void for eons. “Oh it was created from black matter and energy waves.” Cool… where did those come from…

I’ve yet to meet someone who isn’t outraged at child abuse or murder. If we are all matter and energy, then killing someone or abusing a child isn’t wrong because we’re just matter and energy. This did not come across as much of an invitation. It came across as a host of baseless assertions, starting with the one at 1:06 that everyone "resonates" with the idea that we are spiritual beings. That certainly doesn't resonate with me - I don't even know what "spiritual" is supposed to mean. As far as I can tell, the word "spiritual" is used as a placeholder for whatever woo a person wants to assert is true without providing any evidence. I am a physical being experiencing a physical existence, in a physical universe. I see no reason to think that anything other than the physical exists - certainly I've never seen evidence of anything non-physical. My advice for theists is that it's not helpful to just assert you know how non-theists feel or what we think - it's super condescending and comes across as unbearably arrogant.
