Why I Quit My Job making 220k / yr to be an entrepreneur full time, without a side business, side hustle or any external income.
Why would I do this?
What am I going to do now?
What if it doesn't work?
Are you thinking about doing the same thing?
Here are my thoughts on it after 30 years of attempts and other entrepreneurial experience. I try to answer these questions for myself and anyone considering the factors weighing into such a decision.
And, after years of frustration trying to build start-up businesses on the side of freelancing and full time employment I share what it took to finally got back on the path of entrepreneurship.
This was a tough video to make because I had to delve into the emotional and practical aspects of this major life change, including the challenges of raising kids and losing loved ones while trying to continue the pursuit of happiness and fulfillment. I discuss the importance of aligning actions with beliefs, the impact of personal life events on career decisions, and the strategies I plan to employ to ensure success in my entrepreneurial journey.
Hopefully you will also find this useful as a guide for anyone feeling stuck in their career and contemplating a drastic change to pursue their dreams.

Thank you for sharing this and congrats on quitting your job and starting a new business. I found your perspective refreshing from the typical videos I see on here of some 20 something KZfaqr that quit their job but have no other financial obligations. I am in a similar boat as you although a bit younger. I am also trying to start new businesses and ventures but find it difficult to do anything after work. I am miserable at my job which demands my attention and time. I simply cannot multi-task and find that I have no mental energy or emotional energy after work to do anything. But quitting also sounds scary when you are making 200k+ a year and working full-time remote. Its a scary decision and I can’t imagine it has been easy for you to make. Looking forward to following your journey.

Thank you and thanks for liking / subscribing. Videos I have planned for the next couple of months are likely to be interesting to a person in your situation (speaking from experience) being they are high leverage / ROI on your time activities. And yeah, I was just thinking about this yesterday how conventional wisdom is to quit your job and take risks when you are young and "have no obligations." Truth is there is no way I could have done this when I was younger. When I got out of college & got a job I had $30k worth of school loans & cc debt and quickly racked up a bunch more debt buying a reliable car eventually a house for fear of getting priced out of the market. Now that we are older, debt free, have grown our savings and investments, and have built very good resumes all that stuff I talked about in the video, it's actually not too scary tbh... But, still a little! 😬
