Ten years ago I got inspired by the strobist community but did not make much progress. In 2019 I went all into Off Camera Flash photography until something happened that killed momentum for me..

i was never a photographer. but i have high end cameras. i only do family photos, videos, wildlife and sports photography all for fun. i have no interest in paid portraits. i would say do what you enjoy doing.

I never charged anything for my portraits, but at the time I suppose I had the ambition to become professional one day. But yeah, I agree on doing what you enjoy doing

Your accent is great and far better than any AI. I was weaned on boring BBC presenter “proper” accent. Something more diverse is far more interesting 👍😊

I quit photography because of AI and the insane cost just to take a pic of a bird. AI needs to be destroyed.

People quit photography because they cant come up with original ideas - they cant figure out a unique identifiable style .

During covid everything dried up. I really didn't shoot portraits which was my niche. It was a 3 year hiatus.

But I did, my last photoshoot was in spring 2021, and that was my last attempt to get back into photography 🙃
