I just love what you are doing. The shots are all beautiful. I think those documentaries are the best. I know you would have shoot better. But for me the news is the best on whatever the shots that you recorded. Most important you have made the videos into stories and deliver the meaning and purpose out of it, profesionally. Hi from Malaysia, i am interested what lens do you use for your filmaking? For cinetone do you have custom setting in picture profile? Love you video anyway.

Hey there. The lense I use the most for filmmaking is 35mm GM, but any 35mm will do. Also got the 24mm GM but use it less often. For cinetone I just use the default picture profile that came with the camera, I believe it is PP11. Thanks a lot!

I know.. I think I can wait, otherwise buying a refurb or second hand M2 is always an option :-)

I don't hate Macs, but really who are you kidding. Windows does not have any more stability issues than Apple has, and it has way more compatibility with different hardware. But then again you're probably comparing a $300 Windows laptop with a $2000 Mac studio. Seriously if you are needing to reboot daily you have F'd up your system.

Maxed out DellXPS 15 (close to $2000), clean Win11 install, still tons of problems..

If Davinci Resolve is your editor of choice, why not give Linux a try? Some distros focus on long term stability and you won't have windows style issues

Of course M1 Mac Studio is more than enough for my needs. I just get a kick out of buying newly released technology, unless I really can't wait or I come accross a very good opportunity, but here in Europe they are not easy to find :-)
@sameersheriff7078Ай бұрын
@@josealcoyBut sadly its not as exciting as we think as the upgrades from previous generation is too minimal but maybe we can be excited for raytracing and the graphic capabilities it offers and see if it could rival dedicated graphics cards from Nvidia. Can you twist to tighten the different segments on the MT-79 light stand?
@josealcoy3 ай бұрын
Hello, no you can't. It is actually not very stable. RC 60B light is slightly over its payload and I can't extend it fully, it retracts a bit. It is really portable but has many limitations. Wouldn't recommend for serious work.

I bought the same Setup with the Ulanzi Mt79. The Tripod/lightstand is really instable and not really made for the Light, especially if you want to double diffuse with an extra umbrella. im also not sure how you connected the Tripod directly to the Light, i needed to use the handle.
@josealcoy3 ай бұрын
It is indeed unstable when fully extended and payload is 1kg, so extra umbrella is definitely too heavy. But what I love is how light and portable it is, I can fit it into my bag when bringing a traditional light stand would be too much. It is a "better than nothing" tool, not the one you bring for important shoots. It is really difficult to attach without the handle, but I somehow managed using the wheel and tons of patience, I guess it is not meant to be used that way!
