I had zero energy on the carnivore diet, couldnt exercise, was dragging myself around after week 7 felt much better adding some carbs. Carnivore is definitely not a good diet for everyone.

I agree! Also, if you don't do serious resistance training (especially for older folks), the carnivore diet can easily make one too skinny and under-muscled. I see this all the time, keto-carnivore people who have become underweight and under-muscled. Then the obsession with always losing weight happens and the eating disorder follows along with it. This is not good.

Thankyou for your honest and refreshing reflection. I tried carnivore for approx 90 days and in some ways I felt better, but also I couldn’t poop. Weight stayed about the same, but weight loss was not the goal, rather to improve energy and reduce pain. To be honest going carnivore has really messed up my relationship with food. I have become really unsure now about what is healthy to eat and have to retrain my brain that fruits, veges and carbs can be safe and okay for the body. I know there are people that have success fixing health conditions on carnivore, but there are probably equal amounts of people that develop health issues on carnivore. There really does not seem to be a one sized fits all!

Well, it seems like keto and carnivore did give you success. But you are no longer following them because you want your carbs and because of marital friction. Everyone needs to make their personal choice, so I wish you success. What I found was odd is that you said Dr. Saladino bullied people for eating kale etc and yet how are you different? You automatically say everyone who’s following Keto and Carnivore are cult like, and simply casting a negative light on this way of eating…Why? b/c it does not suit you anymore. I would’ve respected this video more if you just said, what works for you without criticizing other people’s choices. I personally do low carbs. I lost 30 pounds on keto. I feel better, my blood work has been very good, So this works for me not only for losing weight but my over all health. I wish you well. I just hope you can explain your choices without criticizing others for theirs…

I am not "criticizing" others for anything. It seems like you are on the defensive here. You eat what you want and I eat what I want. I am criticizing a whole pattern of eating that is bordering on disordered behaviors and psychological conditioning. Please watch my more recent "Diet Cults" video if you haven't already. I am not criticizing individuals, but rather I am criticizing a "movement" or "way of eating". Many carnivores (and vegans) have developed eating disorders and the influencers often promote orthorexic behavior.

But he is right. It is a cult around a diet and lifestyle, inventing a totally different science and history. I mean people following this diet either claim that humans always have been carnivores or evolved to be mainly carnivores. We do not even have to go to archeological records. This get‘s easily debunked, since we do get arteriosclerosis as it is well documented. Carnivorous species do not - they are adapted to the high saturated fat consumption. Of course, if you point this out, you get called a liar, because early humans were hunters, they ate all meat. Yeah - well hunter GATHERERS. But hey then you could have an hours long discussion over archeological records not matching an all-meat diet, because your evidence is always not from the time period they were referring to😂. Then the claim that everybody outside the low carb/keto community is lying to you about your health and nutrition and health care providers want to make you sick so you have to buy more medication….. And the fact that you gained weight in the past is not your foult - it was all a secret agenda by the food and Pharma industry. It could not have been that you ate too many calories or something - the carbs made you fat they forced you to eat, even though you nearly ate nothing. Sorry to tell you, but if you have eaten a whole food diet based on whole grains and vegetables, mostly carbs, drank water, avoided candy and sugar, ate little fat and meat, you would not have ended up obese. You can not tell me you followed the old food pyramid if your food included burgers, pizzas, fries, cake, cookies, crackers, sugared drinks, sugared cereals, Sirup, deep frying, flavored yoghurt - that‘s more candy then anything, white bread that is sugared (that‘s not bread, but cake), any ready made meal, any meal at a fast food restaurant, potato chips, coffees with cream and sirup. That is not in line with it, and still what the majority eats and blames the old guidelines on. Well but it works right? People loose weight on carnivore and keto - so everything about those conspiracies must be right! Wrong: You loose weight if you eat less calories then you consume. If you cut out almost everything out of your diet, guess what? You will loose weight. But if you tell them that you get called a liar, insensitive and have no idea about what achievement that is. I get that weight loss is hard. Been there, done that, and still doing that… I would not care if the claims of this diets just were about weight loss, but they are not and they lack evidence. Suddenly it decreases inflammation that plant toxins are obviously causing. Funny - we do have evidence of high meat intake raising inflammation markers. It cures your infertility. Funny, we do have evidence, that high red meat intake is associated with infertility. It reverses diabetes, NAFLD, metabolic syndrome and lowers blood pressure and relieves joint pain. Funny, that‘s what weight loss can do - on any diet. It cures autoimmune disease. Funny but no. You can not cure autoimmune disease. You can avoid flair ups. Flair ups are triggered by stress, foods your sensitive too, contact with toxins and infections. So what you are doing with carnivore is removing all foods but meat. If it is not meat you are sensitive to you removed all trigger foods. Did you cure it? Hell no. Did you find a individual diet tailored to your autoimmune disease like with lowFODMAP or AIP? - Hell no! But I feel amazing on Carnivore so I must be healthy! Well I can tell you that people with high blood pressure can also feel amazing and healthy - because you don‘t feel that. You can not feel arteriosclerosis until it is to late either. Which brings me to the point I‘m most angry about. Lying about any risk there is to these diets. High LDL-C Oh, it would be concerning if you would not be on carnivore or keto, but since you are it is fine. If you have low TG/HDL ratio it does not matter. Oh carnivore only increases large fluffy LDL particles, so it does not matter. Only small ones -that you get by eating carbs-are dangerous And don‘t believe your doctor telling you otherwise, since he is working for big Pharma and lying to you. And don‘t let them put you on a statin, it is dangerous and useless…. LDL-C does not matter. It is a lie of the sugar industry that high LDL causes heart disease. It is the sugar and the carbs instead. Ancel Keys manipulated his data so we all thought that….. All misinformation coming from that community, stories not even matching, but when confronted with evidence, you are called a liar again since all studies have been payed for by big Pharma and big food. And of course, there is no evidence provided for any of their claims. Scurvy - Vitamin C deficiency Carnivores need less vitamin C since they don‘t eat carbs. Evidence is because I say so There has been no one on carnivore developing symptoms on scurvy. I remember one of those carnivore docs saying that. Well liar. A simple google search tells you otherwise. James Blunt gave an interview about it. And strangely you also find special carnivore vitamin c supplements to buy on some of those docs websites. Strokes. You find even a KZfaq video about somebody having a stroke on carnivore, nearly quitting it and listening to her doctors, but sadly rather chooses to do her own research on KZfaq…. It‘s like somebody brainwashed her, seriously. I could go on and on, but yes it is a cult like community where lies become facts, and everything that does not fit the narrative is deemed a lie. And this is harming people. Keto for example is a medicinal diet for epilepsy. It has great potential maybe treating other neurological and maybe neuropsychiatrical disorders as well as diabetes. But it has risks like every medication does. Denying that would be crazy. And it has not been denied in studies about treating epilepsy with it. So why can‘t the keto community not be open with that and tell everybody who experienced negative effects they did it wrong or it must be something else causing it? „Oxalate dumping“ for example which is a made up condition comes to my mind. For the carnivore diet, on the other hand I see no real potential for anything - there is no study data and only social media anecdotes - who knows what is truth or lie in them.

Yeah, I don't think people should do the carnivore thing if they don't actually need it. In my case eating this way is like a medical prescription. I would be housebound without it, but I don't watch all those videos anymore since they tend to be repetitive. I already got what I need. There's not much else to learn to be successful with this diet. Its just KZfaqrs needing continuous content *shrug*. I do think the diet is a miracle that deserves more medical respect because people like me benefit from it when drugs don't work. So it's kind of sad to hear when people who don't need it decide that they don't want to do it anymore so they trash it by calling it a cult, because I find that attitude undermines the good that the diet does for so many people who do need it. Anything can be a cult, but not everyone on this diet is a cult member.

I'm "only" in my early 50's and barely over my ideal weight, so at the hospital I was the young, fit guy surrounded by obese 70 year old heavy smokers. Was carnivore to blame? I can't categorically state that it was, but I base my decisions on my own life experiences. Every doctor, nutritionist etc I talked to during my recovery said they were very sceptical of diets based on high quantities of saturated fat and they all said the mediterranean diet is the way to go long term. Beans, olive oil, vegetables in all their glory, seafood, some meat when I feel like it, avoid processed foods, saturated fat, excess dairy, excessive starches etc. That's sustainable. I'm going with that.

Luckily, I had a health issue that forced me to look at the research surrounding gut-health and the importance of a varied diet. optimal vegetarian/vegan diet is the most healthy as shown in many population studies and RCTs and Meta studies but not realistic for most due to personal preferences. Omnivore diet can be very healthy as long as it contains alot of vegetables, fruits, good carbs no processed sugars, probiotics, prebiotics, omega 3, nuts, plenty healthy fats, and low amount saturated fats and as little as possible transfats. Also quantities in moderation and possible fasting period everyday are considerations, if health is the main priority.

I agree 100% that all of these extreme dieters (vegetarians, vegans, carnivores or others) whose diets are extremely restricted are becoming like members of cults. If, for health reasons, one needs to follow a restrictive diet, then I'd understand. I myself have a lot of chronic health conditions and as a result cannot eat sugar or refined carbs. But I eat my vegetables, and like you I don't think I will die of eating vegetables, although I have to steam them before eating or I will feel sick afterwards. So, diet should be a personal matter. Pushing one extreme diet or another on others is WRONG. Having biases against plants or meats is WRONG. Everyone's different, we all have different bodies and genetics, so we need to choose for ourselves what would best work for us and our bodies.

I’m so relieved to find your video here. After over 30 years as a vegetarian/pescatarian I finally switched back to meat several weeks ago now. 2-3months ago. I was desperate to do something about pain in my hip, ankles, feet and other places. Plus I could do with losing some weight. So I caved in to the miracle stories I keep reading. “After a week on Carnivore I threw away my walking stick and glasses!!” Etc etc!! Well I don’t know if there’s something I’m doing that’s profoundly wrong but it’s a simple diet so can’t think what, but so far, no change in the pain I have, and just the last week I’m waking up feeling muzzy, mild headache and stomach ache. I can’t think of a single thing that’s improved. Although the constipation has been mild. I’ve not yet given up but am now unsure how this can be for me. Then last night I watched a video by some carnivore evangelist criticising and pulling apart a sportswoman who has decided to stop doing it. And it struck me that this was now a cult - pure and simple. Anyone leaving the cult is an apostate that must be mocked and shunned, ostensibly to stop others leaving. Carnivore is the final word and no-one must blaspheme. I suddenly felt really angry and idiotic. Anyway, I still think we all should lower the amount of carbs and sugar in our diet, I believe that’s what’s behind the obesity explosion but I have done keto before as a pescatarian and probably that is better for me. Just go low carb and stick with it this time. I will just say I have lost a bit of weight, but not enough that anyone sees it 🫤 and also, I really do hate red meat!! I struggle to eat it no matter how I cook it! And it stinks horribly!! It’s been a big disappointment. Anyway, thanks for listening!

I actually worked on a farm as a teenager and saw it wasn’t the most sanitary and that’s why antibiotics are used on the animals. From what I can tell, the carnivore diet seems to be the most successful for people who grow up with it, especially those whose parents were carnivores as well. Their bodies have never known anything different and they are not having to undo years and years of damage Indigenous Australians for example, were extremely healthy before European settlement. The Europeans were impressed with how healthy they were in general especially their jaws and perfect teeth They ate manly animal products and used plants as condiments & medicine Of course, these days, they are more unhealthy than most other people in Australia as their diet and lifestyle have been trashed Also, if people grow up knowing nothing different than eating mainly animal products, then they don't have any cravings for anything else

I don't think people should dictate to others what they should eat. Everyone is different and our bodies have different needs. I don't think anyone can say any one diet is good for every single person on the face of the earth. Variables should be taken into account. Having said that, I want to try the carnivore diet for a bit to see how I go. I want to see what sort of results I get. I hate cooking anyway and I always have difficulty getting enough vegetables in. I usually only eat veges because they say they're good for me. I don't like food being too complicated. I only eat when I'm hungry. I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I don't drink alcohol, soda or juice. I only have one coffee in the morning. I don't plan on becoming a strict carnivore long term. I've been exercising more this year. I will just see how I go. Luckily I just got rid of my ex last year. He was a jerk anyway. He kept complaining about my cooking and housework and didn't bother to help out with anything. I think everyone should just do what is suitable for them.

We cannot say one diet is for everyone. Some people benefit initially on a specific diet but not in the long term. A mainly protein and fat diet may be right for some while a mainly carbohydrates diet with lower fat will work for others...its short term vs diet for life ... as long as we eat real whole foods we each have to find what works best for us as individuals...thrre are many factors to consider...age, genetics, activity level, are you on your feet all day or sitting at your computer !! Etc etc 😊

Watching carnivore videos on KZfaq can definitely give a lot of misinformation. Dr. Westman calls these people "internet keto," and dispels a lot of that misinformation with studies, and facts. I've been carnivore for about 5 months now, and I've completely checked out from the influencers and their cult. I agree, the influencers and their followings really give a bad image to something that is quite wonderful. Be sure to separate your experience from what people post online. I count calories like a hawk, weigh myself daily, regiment my salt intake, and feel healthier now than ever before. When we get results from our diets we love it, but sometimes when a plateau comes along or life has it seemingly out for you, it can sow the seeds of doubt. The diet absolutely isn't for everyone, but it is the perfect fit for others. Too bad the internet crazies got to you with their ideologies and cult like behavior, but from the sounds of how much you like cooking and the occasional donut or two it wasn't a good fit for you. That's totally cool, live and let live, brother. Let's not take every negative thing experienced be to be blamed solely on the diet, though. Eating this particular way has changed my entire life. It's a choice, and not one everyone would want or be able to do. That's absolutely alright.

Not everyone just does keto for weight loss, some people do it for health, I remember when I cut out sugar all those horrible rashes that flared up so bad just disappeared. My back acne went (didn’t even know that was because of my diet) I lost weight and I feel amazing. I can still eat delicious foods and make it delicious, maybe your meals were boring or the same thing. If I ever crave something I find out how to make a keto version and it usually turns out delicious. Not always sometimes I need to experiment more because there are multiple ways to make something but it’s usually just as good and you would never tell the difference like keto pancakes, shepherds pie, pizza. Keto ice cream, for me I can eat all those things with no health consequences of my skin flaring up and feeling like shit after, I remember getting a horrible crash after each meal, I don’t feel like that anymore also I feel like the sugar used to effect my moods and how I feel. Unless you wanna get huge you can build muscle on Keto, it’s up to you what you do as long as it makes you feel good and healthy, for me I feel amazing cutting out sugar, but you gotta listen to what your body wants health wise, after a year I might switch to low carb adding things like sweet potato honey and fruits I don’t usually eat but I don’t know I’ll see how my body feels and if I really wanna do that… tbh im really happy with my diet now as it is now on keto

Even Dr. Paul Saladino, who was once strict carnivore, has started to include a bit of honey and fruit. Lengthy story, but you might find his experience interesting. Ultimately, I think we have to find the universally agreed upon commonalities in what constitutes a healthful diet (highly processed junk food, e.g. is not a good thing.) and springboard from there to find what works for us. I've also had experience (and success) with both keto and carnivore eating and am trying to figure out "where to go from here". As an aside, I am also 60 as of last month. Hey Cory, don't beat yourself up for changing your mind. You've made excellent progress as far as weightloss is concerned. I tend to eat lots of red meat but I balance that out with fruit, honey, etc. in the morning. I'd say I'm about 70% whole foods and 30% flexible with my diet (pizza, pasta, ice cream, take-out, etc.). I think it's processed foods that are more harmful than we think, but you should still live a little. The Paul Saladinos of the world I think send out a good message of "You should learn about what you're eating," but to do it as intensly as they do I think is detrimental. Every social gathering becomes an issue of 'can I eat this?' or 'Is the chef using canola oil? I don't want to be annoying.' I think ketogenic styles of eating are excellent temporary diets for fat loss but it puts you in a state of starvation. You did the weightloss portion and have probably learned more about food in the process, which is something you can be proud of

In one year, you have tried every diet. You didn't stick to any one for a long time. So I can't accept any of your claims as "that's it". I have been on the Keto diet for 4 years and it has done wonders for me. Now I want to try the Carnivore diet. I will give her the same 4 years and then I will be able to claim whether is good or not. I won't even try a vegan diet for several reasons. Logic tells me that it is not a healthy diet in the long run. In addition to logic, there are also proofs. As for demonizing food. This has been happening for the last 70 years. Meat and fat have been demonized for 70 years. For 70 years, attention has been diverted from sugar, which is responsible for many of today's diseases. It is essential to avoid ultra-processed food. I dont see carnivore like cult, for me vegans are more like cult. I agree that people need to have self-control when it comes to calorie intake. From another point of view, I admire vegans who have taken that path because they love animals. Because they risk their health, their lives for the love of animals. Although to grow what they eat we kill a lot more animals than the carnivorous diet. It is essential to avoid ultra-processed food.

No, veganism AND carnivore are both very cultish by their very nature. You must see both sides from an equally unbiased point of view. I do not claim any one diet is superior, as you imply. What ever happened to simply eating normal food from all the food groups like they did in the 1950s and 60s? Nobody was fat then and all the body dysmorphia issues and food cults that are rampant today hardly existed at all. I now eat a 1950s omnivorous diet and this is certainly better than extreme diets like vegan and carnivore, both physically and socially.

Both sides have “proof” backing their way of eating. Oh , and we cannot forget that famous line, “You did it wrong”, when someone comes out about quitting and bringing up their reasons for doing so😂😂😂. Yes both groups are a cult with their own leaders they love quoting to back up whatever rhetoric they are spewing. I would stay far away from both groups. I do believe a carnivore diet is extremely healthy, however I don't believe you need to eat only animal products to be healthy. I believe you should just listen to what your body needs, and its okay if you want to splurge sometimes and dont beat yourself up over it. I tried going carnivore but I love coffee and tea and I always feel ashamed for having it, so now I just decided to be mostly meat based but still include tea and coffee. But I realize that it doesn't mean I can't live a full and happy life. If someone can go their whole life eating a modern american diet and live a long and happy life, splurging once in a while is not going to instantly give you cancer or kill you.

You eat more fat then protein on keto ... If you are not in ketosis you are not doing keto ... 50 carbs is probably too high to be in ketosis ... It is for me ... I got off a keto diet because I lost too much weight ... Even thought I was eating 3x as many calories ... That said we are all different ... Copy of reply so others can see it: My brother had Ulcerative colitis - I have SIBO and Thrush (Candida overgrowth - Yellow Tongue & Bad Breath ) - He cured his with Probiotics like Kefir and later Fermented Foods like Pickles, Apple Cider Vinegar to keep his stomach acids strong and prevent the chance of the bad bugs coming back which occur in low stomach acid environments which is what SIBO is. I am trying Carnivore and I am on my first 2 weeks now on Carnivore but I'm still eating a few walnuts, tea and honey and the weight loss is very noticeable in the mirror especially in my belly. I am now convinced Wheat and Seed Oils are the mother of all evil and what really causes Obesity and Heart Disease - even after stopping wheat the yeast lives on by feeding off carbs/sugar from Vegetarian diet so now I am on carnivore no longer have any IBS and good stools. We will see what happens. For Keto/Carnivore I have been studying it heaps from the experts and these are the recommendations: High Fat is the key because lean protein will make you fatigue and have toilet issues since protein is not a viable energy source and requires high energy to break down. Salts - add these when you cook a little is all you need. Butter - Cook only with saturated fats like Butter, Ghee or Coconut Oils because they are stable and less prone to Oxidization - yes high cholesterol is ok as long as triglycerides are low. Food - Whole Food only - Simple free ranged eggs, Salmon, Beef, Lamb - mix it up ever other day and be careful night outs because Mcdonalds has onions in their beef and i added mustard one and had it right before bed and in the morning I had my first diarrhea never had that before on Carnivore yet in these past 2 weeks. Specifically for SIBO and Thrush I already eat cheese and yogurt which is keeping the condition at bay with Carnivore healing 70% of it but there's a little left on my tongue each morning and now I have learned about Stomach Acid which high carb and veg diet could sooner or later cause the stomach PH to be more Alkaline which is BAAD because that's how SIBO FIRST FORMS! Now I am experimenting with adding pickles to my diet, Apple Cider Vinegar and even considering taking a supplement with Limosilactobacillus reuteri or more Yoghurt kinds because those are the good bacteria which survive in a highly acidic stomach while the bad kind called Candida take over when stomach acid is low among other things. So yes you don't need to go full carnivore to get the benefits of ketosis but the only way to know is to experience and understand the body.

I'm carnivore, but I think more like Dr. Kiltz, who says you can treat yourself from time to time, but not all the time. If everyone would cut those three things out of their diet, everyone would be healthier. I stay away from the carnivore police, lol.

Yeah, Bill, you're going to learn that Dr. Chaffee is a fake.😂 Newsflash, Dr. Chaffee is on "sabbatical" from his surgical residency at the hospital. Is he ever going back? Who knows??😂 All he talks about with exercise are his Glory Days...from 25 years ago when he played rugby. He rarely exercises now. He has said it and his girlfriend Elle said it, to Rina, on her 5-Minute Body channel. He just had Botox and dyed his hair before the big Dr. Saladino video, he has incessant sniffing, from probably eating aged meat so much. He's sniffing and wiping his nose in almost every video. That is not normal. He looks like he has male gyno with his shirt off... Yeah, he is not the picture of perfect health by any stretch of the imagination. Many have speculated that he's on HGH too. I was on the Chaffee train for a year and I watched every video... And just felt worse and worse with no energy doing Ketovore. After I added in fruit and honey like Dr. Saladino, I feel so much better getting electrolytes from real food...fruit, instead of supplementing like a lot Carnivores do. Whenever anyone is having problems, Chaffee doubles down and tells them to go to meat and water only. It's absolutely ridiculous when they could be having other problems like electrolyte balances or something else! I think that Carnivore is a great short-term elimination diet, at best. Almost everyone is cheating on the Carnivore channels and they are in the comments too. If it's such a great diet, then why is everyone cheating??😂 I wish you good luck on your big weight loss journey, but doubtful that you'll stay on Carnivore forever. You don't have to stay at that extreme. I was at a total standstill with losing weight with Ketovore for a year. Now I'm losing weight again and feel great. Doubtful that Kerry will either. A much better plan is to cut out processed foods, the bad grains like wheat especially, sugars, and to eat whole foods. Good luck!

Interesting. One thing I notice from the carnivore community is that it strictly comes down to anecdotes. All the research is flawed and there is no perfect study Well, for that to happen, you would require unlimited funding and would have to incarcerate people in metabolic wards for years and years. I don’t ever see that happening But since there is no research from the carnivore community. Here is something that may be worth considering. You have millions of followers, so get one dollar donations from all the members to fund a study to shut everyone else up for once and for all. Professor Bart Kay can design the study to the best specifications and design to make it bulletproof. Then, under his supervision Dr Ken Berry can do the regular blood draws and monitor metabolic markers over those years, at the same time over the same years cardiologist Philip Ovadia can conduct all the major cardio function/health tests. As far as participants, I don’t think there would be any shortage of volunteers from the carnivore community willing to sign up to participate

It's curious that some of the buffest guys who are obviously interested in muscle growth and maintenance are carnivore, even lion diet carnivore IIRC. I wonder what is different about their bodies that enables them to do that? I also see the women who have beautifully defined muscles who have been carnivore for years. Huh! I guess we can chalk it up to the fact that we're all different. But anyway, absolute statements that you can't do the muscle-building thing on carnivore don't register with me.

It's not just that, but quite honestly I simply cannot down that much meat and eggs in one day. Maybe for one meal, but for all meals ALL DAY LONG? It's not just about building muscle, it's about remaining sane and being able to eat food and being able to be social. I think most of these hardcore carnivores and keto people (as well as vegans) have EATING DISORDERS. They are all weirdos with eating disorders and body dysmorphia problems. But the big problem is food idolization, as if certain foods have magical properties that make you immortal. This is the impression you get when you listen to these hardcore carnivore zealots. They talk as if eating beef, butter, and eggs will somehow eliminate all disease, give you six pack abs, and make you live forever. This, of course, is BULLSH*T!

The issue is, calories are absolutely king for weight loss/ maintenance. Caloric adherence is the secret to it all. There are pros and cons to all levels of eating. The pro to lower carbohydrate consumption is it does drive down your hunger levels which in turn allow you to consume less calories. The negative to it is the lack of glycogen in your body which will negatively impact you with a training regimen. On the flip said, the 80% whole food 20% junk food approach allows some flexibility and food freedom, but the negative to that is, you will deal with cravings and the mental battle of hunger. Eating these type of ways is hard; being fat is hard. I tell people to choose your hard

There are dozens of independent lines of archeological and biological evidence that firmly position humans as carnivores during our evolutionary period. The gatherer part of the “hunter gatherer” trope originates from after the last megafauna extinction 15k years ago (largely due to human hunting). It was at this stage we began eating everything, culminating in agriculture, *but the human genome hasn’t changed to conform to this omnivorous diet - hasn’t been long enough for that*. This is why reverting to meat only seems to have an almost miraculous effect on disease reversal. It’s important to fully investigate, and then either accept or reject the above claim. For an intelligent mind operating on logic and evidence, it is impossible to reject. I would love if this wasn’t true so I convince myself I actually need the object of my addiction. Cult or not, wether some dude is wearing at shirt or not, is totally irrelevant to me. I care about what is true and what will decline the most net benefit over a lifetime.
@BachScholar

What if there was no "evolutionary period"? Why must our diet depend upon whether we evolved or not? I do not believe we evolved in the Darwinian sense, but that we were created by God. Assuming that we "evolved" as a species is one of the biggest mistakes of the carnivore movement. Evolution has never been proven. In fact, it is a ridiculous assumption. But all this has nothing to do with whether meat is good for you or not. I do happen to believe meat is good for you.

"There's no reason to impose my opinion on others who are trying to be healthy"........oh come on now. Carnivores are imposing their opinions on all social media platforms day in and day out. This is a very hypocritical statement. Also, it is a rude and presumptuous statement, since it implies I am not trying to be healthy. And I have actually had great luck counting calories, thank you. It's been much better than when I was on that carnivore starvation diet, which is basically good for losing weight but not for longterm health and happiness. Carnivore or keto is only good until you have reached your goal weight. They are very effective for weight loss, but this is one of the reasons I stopped. I was losing TOO MUCH WEIGHT! It is very easy for me to lose too much weight. The easiest way to keep my weight up is by eating carbs and sugar. Also, this slight surplus in energy makes it much more conducive for muscle growth. If you are losing weight all the time and always focused on "weight loss" (as are 95% of keto/carnivore advocates) you never will gain any muscle. Also, you can't lift as much weight with no carbs. My goal is no longer to lose weight, but actually, to gain weight in the form of muscle. Read my body transformation story and see photos here: www.bachscholar.com/corys-health-program

I wouldnt do this or recomend it unless your taking a vitamin k2 mk7 along with vitamin d3 plus vitamin c. K2 in studys reduces asthroserosis by alot in studys and vitamin c is important for a healthy vascular system.
