Like what you said at the end,to me it's like buying a 5liter V8 with a supercharger and then get beat by a 2liter 4cylinder...it's about the right selection of parts to end up with something efficient, I really like your honesty and will definitely get me one of those 8's

I see know that even though I spent quite a bit of bread, I lost a lot of efficiency in my system and in my pocket. You just don't know how proud. I am. I am getting my equipment together. Bit by bit .I already have A12BB drive G5. I'm going to get another one.. For a view at the saver I just don't know what type of style Box to go with.. And I am dropping A5K taramp on 2 12. Right now I only have 4 earthquake 8" 8 hom speakers. Going to get 4 more earthquakes.

You won’t get the performance he has even if you had the equipment he got. the truck comes with beefy electrical connections compared to a Honda to come close to that sound you’ll need a high output alt and agm battery and Big 3

Running two 10" G5's at 1ohm on a Taramps 5k amp (if you know about Taramps you know they are actually capable of their listed power) They are STUPID loud in my 2019 civic. 1/0 Wire to a bank of 12 super capacitors then to the amp.

@@kevincotton9754 that would hit super hard. Just make sure you have the available power for the amp.....these taramps are no joke. It will suck power from your system hard and if you can't feed it then it will go into protect mode. I ended up putting in two banks of super capacitors to stop mine from going to protect from voltage drop at high volume.........stock alternator on a 10th gen civic because aftermarket high output alts are crazy expensive. Already had two batteries but needed the caps just to feed the amps........I do also have a 1200.4 taramps feeding the rest of the speakers in the car.

@@techoverload o ok, cool. I have 4 of them that i just purchased. Im putting them in a 80's model Oldsmobile Delta 88. Was debating on getting (2) 5k taramps to push 4 wdx 5k 15's. Or would (1) 8k taramp be able to push all 4? I also hears about the 12k taramps being a bad son of a gun. Don't want to spend the extra on the 12k if the 8k can handle them. Or is the (2) 5k's better than 1 amp?

@@kevincotton9754 depends on the setup. if all four 15's are sharing a common chamber you're better to stick with a single amp/signal going to them to avoid issues with speakers not having balanced power going to them. I always try to run a single amp to any group of speakers that are sharing a common chamber. If they are all shared I would go with the 8k, if they are not sharing a single chamber then I would do 2 5k's.......either way you will absolutely HAVE to get a bigger alternator (super easy for your car) and a second battery.

I've got the 2-12" g5's on the wdx 3k with a custom box out of birch made for the subs. Sounds good but I'm sure they can take more. I'm just wondering if my 09 si can take a bigger amp with just a kenetic backup battery?

Other co make great sounding subs and speakers too. Take a blank sub and draw a set of nuts wit a johnson on it, there u go, brand new db drive subs😆.

I just got the g5 15.2 6000 watts whats im pumping it on punch 1000 bd 1675 rms and it pushes and doesnt get hot but it not enough 5000 my audiopipe bdxx4 2 ohm quad stacked and u know for the price the audiopipe is nastry bro ill put the 350 to this 700 g5 but i got it for 250

Never really liked Audiopipe until recently. Customer installed 2 TXX-BDC4 8’s in one of my boxes and I got to hear it. They slammed. I have one coming for the channel .

Tuned to 33hz ...plays down to 26h and up to 65....peaky at 31hz-34hz like most SPL geared sub. I like them.

@@M.B.Enclosures My man. Thank you. I have two WDX 2k 12s and I hate that DB Drive doesn’t give the full specifications on their site. I’m so used to Kicker subs and going off the specs they have.
