@@yakkocmn Dear Yakko, You're doing yourself a huge disservice as a music enthusiast if you don't listen to Falcom's music. Idk if you know about Nobuo Uematsu but they have someone of the same caliber working there (Takahiro Unisuga). Examples of their bangers: www. youtube. com/watch?v=QxVvGYuOiJc www. youtube. com/watch?v=LuUZL6lyR2Q www. youtube. com/watch?v=EDllGOPr-Vg (the topic channel is malfunctioning; it's supposed to display Falcom instead of Megumi Sasaka) Falcom is also masterful in instruments other than the electro guitar but I didn't link them because you said you liked Hades soundtrack. Example of their other tracks: www. youtube. com/watch?v=YbXAqwxwamE Falcom music is incredibly underlooked by the general video game community. Their music is Atlus/SE-tier if not even higher. It's basically undisputed in the JRPG community that Falcom produces the best soundtracks.

Honestly, I really damn love this video, it's damn amazing and interesting. I was tempted to go into majoring in Video Game Music (I ended up choosing Video Game Art instead) and this video basically sums up why I was so interested in wanting to major in that and learn how to create music that I was so obsessed with already. I've also already loved collecting music physically already, along with collecting video games physically already, wanting to collect video game music physically is not so far from what I already do and this video has me ready to just go for it. Especially collecting on vinyl, I've been wanting to for a while and again this video has me ready to just say fuck it and do it.

Man I just love how much yakkos production value has exploded. In like 4 years he went from like awkward but good league vids to some of the most encapsulating video essays on and surrounding niche communities within gamer culture; that I absolutely keep rewatching. I just recently got into vinyls. Mostly for non-game music, but damn I've noticed how hard it is to get video game soundtracks when represses are sold out 10 min after being announced. Hopefully this video grows the market and that translates to more copies available!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE soundtracks to movies, shows and video games. There is so much context and usually such a punch compared to normal music Video games has that extra personal touch because you are playing through instead of just experiencing so that's easily half or more of my music library

Very good video! I think that many people would be willing to be part of this niche that collects video game soundtracks. The problem is, according to me, that the main reason why this does not happen is that this type of hobby tends to be very expensive, and not everyone can access it. Even so, I congratulate you on your collection, it shows that you have put a lot of love into it and that you have worked to earn it.

This video was great! Not sure if you will see this but we have a VGMvinyl group on Facebook with about 4.3k members and its growing everyday! Personally I've managed to get over 100 osts on vinyl haha, keep up the great videos
