Plus to the nerdy music production staff! :) And I'm really so happy to hear you're going to compose original music again! I'm not sure if you got my fan-letter among the others, where I praised you originals, but this video is the best answer we could get! It might be fun to have a compilation video of 5-10 second segments of different songs you've done and then discussion on how you add impact and feeling into the music. Such as adding a background bass sound, adding a trill, adding a harmonic, changing speeds and making gaps for emphasis, tremelo for feeling, and more. You do such a good job adding emotion to music and from a nerdy perspective it would be interesting to hear your approach to adding emotion. Don't give away all your secrets, but you might mention some emotional impact trick I didn't notice and then I'll like the associated song more! Also, old things you've transcribed would be hard to remember, I mean for your future music/moving forward.

Your music definitely helped me during a difficult time. In 2005, my dad passed away very unexpectedly. Now all of a sudden, I had to fly to a different state and deal with everything that goes along with that. But while on the flights, I was able to just put on some headphones and listen to your music. It helped me push everything aside for a little bit, so I was able to refocus when I needed to. I also felt fortunate that I was able to see your last concert at the community college in Las Vegas. I'll never forget it for several reasons. First was that I was only a couple of rows away from the stage and the next closest person was 2 or 3 rows behind me. So at times, it felt very personal watching you perform. Unfortunately, the second reason is because that it was the night before the unfortunate shooting that happened at Mandalay Bay during the other concert. Regardless of everything, I can't wait to hear some new original music from you. Odessey is still one of my favorite albums to date.

Idk if you'll see this but your original music is absolutely fantastic and holds a special place in my heart. My mother fell in love with "Morning Star" when you visited AZ. Great to hear this clarity. Godspeed on everything, Taylor. Although I haven't been seeing everything you've done for a long time, you are still my favorite violinist since I found your Mega-Man joint 10 years ago. I remember downloading your original track Awakening and even tweeting it to you on my since suspended twitter account, and even hoping to meet you one day. I've been doing music for 8 years and tbh, now that I think about it, I find it funny thinking about the idea of having you produce some heat for an album or track of mine hahaha. Hope your neck feels better asap, too. Be easy.

I've been a huge fan of yours for about 9 years now, I saw you live in Hamburg in 2016 and I'm always super hyped whenever you release original music (obviously I own all the sheet music. :D)! I love your original pieces and in my opinion they actually are your best work. I am VERY MUCH looking forward to listening to another (and hopefully many more after that) original albums. There is rarely a day when I haven't listened to any of your songs (I actually have about 15 different playlists in my spotify just for Taylor Davis music so I have the exact songlist I need for specific moods or occasions. :) ). As far as music production goes... I am a MOAT-Member, so I am geeking out already. Any amount of production vlogs will be watched by me with great interest. :) I would however really like to have more "violin lesson"-Type videos, like the Pirates of the carribean-Videos, since I play the violin and enjoyed the tips a lot! I hope Jared, the boys (doggos included) and you are happy, healthy and have a great year ahead!

Taylor, I am so excited that you are finally getting better and back to Music. As one who has all of your CD's I cannot wait to add to my collection. Learning how you are inspired to write a new song, and watching you turn the idea into reality is a process I would love to see (The Nerdier the better). I used to mix front of house for some larger bands and the Minnesota Symphonic Orchestra. So I have solid performance mixing skills, but I have never been involved with the Pre-production/engineering phase of music creation. This is going to be exciting. God Bless you and your family (and dogs) best news I have heard since 2021 💯💯⛄🎼🎻🎻🏴‍☠

Hi Taylor, thank you for sharing this look at your life, it's quite beautiful - even the painful and difficult parts. The way you walk through it and talk about it is just as inspiring as your music itself. Thinking of you and wishing you positive progress with physical therapy (chronic pain is quite a challenge to sustained creative projects).
