Hey friends today in this video i just discussed about Maya And Blender 3D software because as you know we are using blender for our carrier but recently i switch maya because of may more this ill share my thoughts about blender in this video please watch and for future we uploaded animation and 3D , VFX Stuff Content so please subscribe and support us friends

I have experience in blender and unity of 3 years but now i switched to learn Maya, substance painter and unreal engine because in large industries these are more in demand

From the comment it seem more of 'demand' problem in India rather than which software is better for animation here ? If that the case then it fine, now I recommend you watch this two video 'Blender Animator REACTS to 'Maya Animator Tries Blender'' (to help fix any misconception for newbie and those who change from Maya to Blender), and 'Did Pixar Just Change the Future of 3D Forever?' (where the new 'USD' method for export and import would help switch file between software way easier and less hassle). Hope it helpful for you then

that's not true tho, in the industry if you go to search portals blender is in demand almost as houdini. Maya is used like 3 times more, which yes, it's more than blender and houdini, but I woudn't say it's dominant. In fact I would say blender will slowly change that proportion

@@nosirve9458 Yup i also Believe that in the future many Companies will adopted blender but maya is a very old and industrial software so i think we can use both software for different usage as i do.

Modeling ke liye blender or maya ? I think blender is better for 3d modelling because all the shortcuts makes it faster and easy, like if you wanna rotate something by a particular angle in a particular direction we can just do it directly with keyboard by just typing where in Maya we need to first see the axis then type the angle in properties panel. There are many more features like for creating multiple edge loop just rotate the mouse while in blender to increase the numbers of edge loops while in maya we need to open tool properties. What is your opinion ?

Yess absolutely but so many ways Maya is better for modeling for me I understand blender has more shortcut keys but Maya has more flexibility and more features.. and for simulation i think blender is good cuz.. it's more easy and more fast compared to Maya!

I've been working with Blender for 2 years, but I have an Auto Desk student license for about 7 more months. Should I cram as much Maya in as I can? My goal is to get on with a small VFX company or perhaps do some freelance work...thanks for any advice!

For the VFX I don't think Maya would be better you can consider a blender for this.

@@Xtytshub I am at the frantic not-sure-what-I-want-to-do point. I'm not new, so it's not like 3D is some foreign exciting world to me, I literally just cannot decide on a "discipline" as someone put it so well. I guess the question was kind of an in-general thing. Is it worth cramming Maya if I'm lacking direction?

Actually for VFX none of them are usable i think Houdini is far better!

Unreal is a way different then other software i guess first you learn maya then you can shift unreal engine for workflow!

bro mai 14 years ka hu our mai 1 year se blender yous kar ra hu mere ghar se 2 km ke duri par ek 3d gaming company hai yudar pai maine freelance kwe liya puchatha to yunho ne bola tha ki app konsa software use karte ho maine bola blender to unhone bola ki chale ga apki bat ❌ galat hai blender users ke liya bhi job opprtunities hai

After effects is generally used for VFX and video enhancing, while blender is used for making 3d models and assets whivh can be further used for making animation scene or in game engine.

You can learn both because both software is pretty good but for my advice pehle aap blender learn Karo because blender ke aapko bht tutorial mil jaayenge KZfaq me phir aap Maya easily grab kar loge!

If after a few years, Blender's capabilities are equal to Maya's capabilities!! and then if if if again after a few more years, it can become much more advanced than Maya!!! and Maya hasn't improved during this time!!!! then maybe I'll use Blender. Of course, side by side Maya. And of course; let's not forget that the art of animation has nothing to do with software.

there is no point in this i mean this is just a tool, only skills matters but indians mostly confused with, which software is best for 3d, animation blah blah blah blah....keep in mind only skills matters both are good software if you like maya go with it or if you like blender then stick with it. meanwhile in comments section, dude maya is industry standard and blender is just open source program and there is no community support blah blah blah.... ok ok fine
