I'm playing since 2000s, seeing many systems: *PC,* N64, PS1... *PC,* PS2, Xbox... *PC,* PS3, X360... *PC,* PS4, XOne... each system born and dies except one: *PC.*

I play on both only recently got my pc, loving all the new games I’ve found.

I have a PC and a PS4 and in my opinion... I love the PC when it comes to multiplayer games since you don’t have to pay for online memberships. Other things I love about PC gaming is you can set a budget for your setup, you can mod games, sales are worth it, and you have unlocked FPS. I love PS4 because when I play story driven games, its overall a better experience for me even if console don’t have unlocked FPS. I also love the PS4 exclusives more than any other games like Uncharted, Little Big Planet, and the new Spider-Man PS4 game. So overall I love PC for multiplayer and PS4 for story driven games. This is just my opinion and I respect everyone’s opinion since other people have different preferences.

60fps is better than 30fps is not elitist its a testable fact its objectively better in response time which helps with precision. I played console since I was 4 years old until I was 13 when I got my first pc and saying there are disadvantages and advantages to both is very true but the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages in the pcs favour.

I've been a console gamer for more than 30yrs now starting from NES all the way to the current gen with a ps4 pro. I built my first pc strickly for gaming and its been a few months now since then. Current specs are: i7-8700 GTX 1070 8gb 16gb DDR4 3200 ram Dell 27" 1440p 144hz g-sync monitor. RGB, tempered glass blah blah A friend was selling the cpu, gpu and motherboard dismantalling one of his crypto-rigs. I took advantage since gpu prices were (still are) ridiculous and he was selling a bargain. Since then, I've neglected my ps4 pro. I have a 4k tv to utilize the ps4 pro's features and tbh gaming on pc is by far the superior experience. The main reason to me is the frame rate. 60fps is soo smooth. I used to be on the wagon that says frame rate doesn't make any difference and that you could get just as good looking a game on console. WRONG! All wrong. I own The Division, The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 & GTAV on both pc and ps4. GTAV is the only game I've purchased three times as I also had it for my XB360. I've had both ps4 and pc versions on at the same time and you can definitly see the difference in performance. Its pretty much ultra/high settings for all of those games on pc @ 1440p resolution and hangs around 60fps. PS4 4k res around medium/low graphic settings, locked to 30fps. If you want a higher frame rate on pc then just drop the graphic settings. PS4 unfortunately you cannot adjust the graphic settings or anything really to gain performance. PC's offer a great deal of flexability. If you're not used to mouse/keyboard you have the option to connect a controller whether it be a pc made controller, xbox or even a ps4 controller which is what I use for certain games. I have the option to upgrade any component in my pc since I did build it myself. The games I mentioned, they were all on sale for atleast 50% off. The amount of games available for pc is ludicrous and the sales for pc games is insanely cheap. I also should have mentioned that The Div, FO4 & TW3 are all GOTY editions I purchased for PC dirt cheap. There's just soo much that you can do with your pc. I'm starting to dabble with Wallpaper Engine. Thats just one example. Do yourself a favor and save that money for a console, then save a few extra hundred and get a pc. You don't have to break the bank for a gaming rig!

PC just offers so much more than consoles. I'm planning on upgrading my PC soon so I can play even more games

I'm glad I upgraded to PC, I got sick of Sony constantly upping their prices for PSN and sadly I believed all the ignorant comments about PC being so expensive and needing so many upgrades in a short space. It's so sad how those myths are still being spread like flu to this date but they are far from the truth; it was when I decided to watch a few videos I went and built myself a modest PC - I have upgraded a couple things since but that was out of personal choice. (i7-7700K, GTX 1060 6GB, Strix Z270-F, 8GB RAM which I'm updrading to 16 coming payday, all in a GameMax Polaris case)

Too bad my processor is too old . I’ve upgraded my memory and graphics card but the i7 2600 struggles in my prebuilt asus desktop when editing certain 1080p game footage from my Xbox. Maybe I’m expecting too much from a 2011 computer?

Same, I've got a ps4 that's sat there since launch gathering dust. I've only used it for around 10-20 hrs before finding it a waste of money and shitty frame rates, I switched to pc a couple of months later.

wise words, now for me, pc is the best option, like you said, i have the freedom to mod the game to my liking. when i turn on my ps4, i only see the option to play something, but when i turn on my pc, i have so many more options, play some game, search for new mods, or even try to learn how to make one, or if i not in the mood for playing anything, i can to so much more in the pc than on the console. and for me in particular, the prices for the ps4 games here in brazil is far higher than the pc, for example assassin's creed odyssey on the ps store is R$ 200.00 for the base game, and on steam is R$ 229.00 for the ultimate edition, and R$ 160.00 for the base game, and the ultimate edition on the ps4 is R$ 300.00, and this is not the best, or even the only example that i could have said, but in exchange for cheap games the hardware here is high price, but i believe that in the end pc will be cheaper in the long run.

PC gaming also has the major added benefit of teaching you about hardware and computer skills in general. Skills which will always be useful and help separate you from the dumbed down world we live in. The vast majority of people I've met who use apple products for example are technically so backward and ignorant it's frightening. Particularly when compared to their PC counterparts - sure they may be able to regurgitate a few terms and specs they've heard but they just don't seem interested in technology. And they don't seem like they want to learn or understand - I suppose this comes from being locked out and not being able to build or upgrade your own machine and buy your own components or customize high end machines. The resurgence in the Windows ecosystem is good to see. Apart from that major benefit there are many advanced games and simulations that simply can't be run on consoles like the military simulation Arma 3 and flight sims like DCS to name but two. PC gaming is far more immersive in general.

I game on everything I can from my PC with a GTX 1080 in it down to My Nintendo DSI XL and I appreciate and love all my gaming systems equally and never compare them. This was a really great video, i'm currently a PS4 player but I've been really interested moving over to PC as well (mostly for modding and the sorts for my favourite single player games) haha but what really interested me is that you said that you don't have to use a monitor, you can play PC by also using you're TV and I was just curious as to how that works because I thought you needed a monitor to download everything you want or can you do that using a TV?

I recently build my very first PC. Not only can I run games much better than with my previous PC. It also renders anything from Premiere and After Effects so fast. I can now also play back at higher resolutions. It's just amazing a a whole lot cheaper than buying a pre-build. It was also really fun to do.

I myself am a console gamer thinking about getting into PC Gaming and most of the talks I have with people or videos I watch are completely negative towards console gaming (which I personally still happen to have a love for). you can play games from the 80s on a brand new PC, you have 40 years worth of games on PC, and not just PC games, but C64, amiga, MSX... not to mention you can emulate consoles up to and including the playstation 2 and the wii u... with all these games to choose from, the games you can choose from on a single console looks pitiful.

I was always a pc gamer but 3 years ago bought a PS4. The exclusives are a big draw and like atm I'm a bit under the weather , so just chilling on a sofa with a controller suits me better today. But tomorrow I could be back at my desk playing a racing game with the wheel on the pc. If you can afford it both is best. I really enjoy my PlayStation and couldn't go back to pc gaming only.

Console vs PC is always a hot topic. I play on both but mainly on console because that’s where my friends play. It’s not that they can’t afford a gaming PC. It’s because they just don’t have the space for a computer desk in the rooms. I’d rather play on console with my mates than ditch them and go solely PC.

Thank you you for making the perfect video to show my friends. I know a lot of people who are console gamers, who always say it's hard and it's expensive and consoles play better and get higher fps. This video is a perfect example of the benefits of pc gaming. I tend to look down on console gamers and wish they could see the benefits of pc gaming. I'm currently upgrading my rig to an i7 8700k, 16gb of ram, a 1070 ti, an nvme ssd and a 144hz monitor, an Asus vg278q. I expect this rig to do well for the next few years and get high frame rates.
