Thank you for your content! lIt’s been really valuable for my family. Your story is very similar to the one my daughter is currently living. She moved from an amazing, successful rec team who were big fish in a little pond at age 13 to a GA team. At the time, Duke was her dream school. She literally once said “If I don’t play at Duke, I’m not playing.” I laughed a little bit, but told her it’s good to have goals. Eventually she realized how silly that was, and started opening her mind to finding the right fit. Anyway, long story short, after going through the process with schools from all divisions, she found the “perfect fit” at a top D3 program (William Smith) for similar reasons as you and is so excited to continue her soccer journey there next year.

Thanks so much for sharing! My daughter is a Junior and has received interest from a few schools outside of California. She went on an unofficial visit at a small Christian school in So Cal that she absolutely loves and trained with the team. She received a TON of communication before the visit and things the past few months have been silent. They even called her Club Coach and had an amazing 45 minute call and spoke with me saying the next steps were to schedule a zoom call with my wife and I. She is struggling to see if they just lost interest or just hasn’t responded because of the Holiday’s? Maybe it’s too early? She even sent them an email letting the Coaches know that she really wanted to play for them and literally nothing. Would be curious to see what you think? This school is at the top of her list and has cast a net of about 6-7 schools that she has narrowed down to. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I love watching. My daughter is in a similar situation with the 4.2 gpa and 1170 SAT. If you do not mind sharing your score? Not sure where she would fit in academically but is looking at the Ivy league and Patriot league for soccer

Thanks for the content. We are debating having our U12 daughter look at Bethesda and leave our Frederick team. What are your thoughts on traveling from Frederick to Bethesda for our Daughter to get more exposure? It would be a lot. Also, who was your coach at Bethesda?
