I'm back after a couple much needed moths away, and I'm returning with one of my favourites - a port cask finished Talisker that goes by the name Talisker Port Ruighe.

Not sure what to say ? But firstly I’m a long term subscriber and fan and I’m absolutely devastated for you. Losing your parents no word’s can describe the immense loss you feel especially at such a young age, if I could send you a virtual hug I would in-fact I sort of can here you go huggggggggggggggggggggg. Onto the whisky review I love Talisker enjoyed all of there’s I’ve had , I’ve got the same whisky glass as you and although my channel is brewing based I drink plenty of whisky. I like to taste a whisky while watching you taste the same whiskey as you are super talented on tastings and I sometimes get the shuttle notes I probably wouldn’t have got left to my own tasting devices. Thinking of you in your difficult times I appreciate you 👍

Sorry for your loss. I tried the Port Ruighe a few years back. The nose was incredible but the taste was underwhelming. I'd give it another go but won't rushing to get a bottle because, well, Diageo.
