Totally agree, and too be honest, invasion’s rankings are pretty clear cut from what I’ve seen, since each unit has a good use case (except ironically the marines)

I hear lots of creators say they want to branch off of what most of their content is about but they’re worried the algorithm will screw them over. I didn’t hear a ton of that in this video but I still want to say this: I can’t speak for your whole community, but I keep coming back to your videos because of your clear passion for diving deep into games as well as your humor and personality. Idk what you have planned, but I’m sure that you’ll bring those things to whatever other topics/games you tackle in the future so I’ll be onboard

Well, not gonna lie. I do wish we can have a proper traditional RTS game on the phone (nearest one being Art of War and Rusted Warfare but it's hard to get in)

@@etheron1235 The core game is fantastic, unfortunately it's infested with annoying micro-transactions and pay to win PvP. The core gameplay is great enough for me to still enjoy it but others might feel otherwise.

Company of heroes if one of my favourite rts games. I love ww2 era type games and this one sparked my love for rts games in general. It’s not for everyone but it’d be cool if you checked it out!

If you want large scale rts, I would recommend the Command and Conquer series or Red Alert Series.

It's ok we all really have our own preferences which are really different from everyone else But what really matters is we do what we enjoy But it's important to keep diversities for doing the same thing does get boring It's why I've been trying to do something different every day and not stick to the same schedule for too long and in terms of games well my preferences are all over the place They are indeed very different from others but that doesn't stop me from playing those games I love playing those games and experimenting in them trying out new strategies and surprising myself everytime and I used to play a good deal of multiplayer games online but now my preferences are single player offline games with a story at least that might be my preference for the foreseeable future but I do occasionally play multiplayer games with friends but even some single player games I won't play a second time

If you like rts's with big amounts of units and in general fun design, have you tried starcraft 2? It's the most popular rts after 10 years of being launched and that shows some quality.

I support that suggestion. Additionally, there’s also the SC2 arcade with tons of user made games, including tower defenses etc

@@tezereth yep, it's what has kept the game alive and theres so many good games, even a handful that have gotten standalone games (squadron td, element defense etc)

I don’t have a proper gaming PC unfortunately (as of yet) so I can’t play it anymore, but I do have Starcraft Wings of Liberty. I just never sunk my teeth into it that much.

I certainly love your content, you do a great job at presenting everything in an entertaining way. I would always say that KZfaqrs should branch out their content, but I'm not certain I would stick with you. It's just that Kingdom Rush is a game that I really enjoy hearing the technical aspects of. I wouldn't be interested in other games. Still, you REALLY should do what you want. You're a great content creator and I'd love to see your audience grow!

If you are a fan of large scale RTS, have you tried Age of Empires 2 DE? 30 vs 30 is a trivial amount late game in some matches.

@@Voduke789 Dude Age of Empires 2: DE is incredible. Offers thousands of hours of single player/co-op stuff to do (campaigns, AI battles, mod support, map/scenario/campaign editors)….and then there’s multiplayer….where no one game will ever be exactly the same. It’s really the last holdout of the old-school RTSs - its current form is basically just a polished version of the og game that came out in 1999 + tonssss of extra content. It even just got a new DLC (in May 2023) which effectively ported the entirety of the Age of Empires 1 multiplayer into Age of Empires 2: DE’s engine. 20 years on, and the esports scene is still growing, it’s nuts. imo, it’s the most timeless game of all time, and this Definitive Edition is not half-assed in the slightest. I am 100% positive you’d like Spirit of the Law’s vids on the game. Similar to some of your stuff. Analytical. (I really wish someone would get around to making Definitive Editions of the Battle For Middle Earth games…and BFME 3 😬)

My friend, your videos are so in-depth that I honestly want to hear your thoughts of every RTS, like battle for middle Earth. Have you played the Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War games? What are your thoughts on that?

@@Voduke789 Sadly I have not played that game, the RTS's I have played are StarCraft/warcraft, age of empires, Dawn of War, a weird game named Universe at War: Earth Assault, and some others I do not recall currently

@@ulisesmorones5222 NO WAY!!! I have Universe At War: Earth Assault. As a kid I could never figure out how to use the Masari, but the Heirarchy and Novus were awesome. Really solid game. I’ve even using the OST for some of my Kingdom Rush Science videos.

@@Voduke789 Yeah, I noticed you used some of the Hierarchy themes. The Masari were cool. The only thing I always disliked is that you could not research everything in skirmish mode and could not field all heroes at the same time, and also that some options were clearly better (massive hierarchy saucer cheese, for example) but specially I found the control scheme for Xbox really good, even better in some ways than, say, Halo Wars.

@@Voduke789 also, the factions in Universe at War were really unique, I usually can classify factions in RTS according to the big three: Terran, Zerg, Protoss. But Universe at War is really hard to classify that way since there is a lot of overlap, but i would go with novus/Terran, hierarchy/Zerg, and Masari/Protoss, even if it is not by any means clear!

I rwmmeber playing an old game from 2016 it was an rpg game and it was the best grindy rpg out there you needed 200B lvl to beat the whole game but as time past the developer focused less and less for the game he today has become a furry wich is just sad to see I miss the old days:(

You should try Starcraft 2 if you like RTS and large scale battles. Zerg can easily get 200+ units on the battlefield

I have only played bfme 1, but it's very similar to bfme 2 so it doesn't matter, and bfme 1 is pretty similar to iron marines invasion, iron marines is just a bit smaller. the gameplay is very similar and you don't really switch the units around, even tho you can. your heroes also have op abilities in the bfme games.

Honestly this might be the worst "big" ironhide game. It's rushed, quantity over quality. I found 2 untexrured sprites and physics breaking animation in level 6 and 7 only. The first iron marines game was really good and memorable but invasion is absolute trash. The heroes are so bad too, just compare the 3 free heroes in both games, invasion has bad mobile game add animations and forgetable designs. The story animations are just anoying, they have nothing to say other than "oh no big bad is back again oh no "..." " I'm sure the devs knew what they were doing and i hope they can get out of this "Rushing games" phase soon. Clash of the olympians was better😔
