Why ICP Will Ultimately Win

In this video, I explain why I believe Internet Computer will win given my experience with multiple blockchain both as a consumer and developer. The future will definitely multi-chains, but there will be a clear leader industry. Just like Coka Cola and Pepsi dominate the soda industry. The blockchain space will be dominated by one or two protocols. I think ICP will be one of these protocols and this video explains my reasoning.

Yes, their boundary nodes are experiencing a lot of traffic. They definitely need to onboard more of these boundary nodes. The blockchain itself has ton more capacity though.

Problem with ICP is that it’s too good and the big boy’s currently in the crypto and big tech space do not want it to win..

I have 15K Algo staked and my rewards were only 119 Algo…. For 3 months. I wish I would have swapped all my Algo to ICP when it was at $3… I swapped a lot of coins for ICP. I don’t see much of a future in ADA. I was staking ADA and I recently swapped on the dip for ICP.

The question is: will states and large companies want to implement their data in blockchains whose data is hosted in web cloud services or in icp, which is itself a cryptographic cloud? The answer is common sense.

Thank you for great video. People don't understand from a company perspective security is the most important issue. With ICP it's all on the chain with no bridges which it makes the canisters secured. If I am running a business I would pay someone to build everything on ICP. I don't need to hire a security company to monitor my business information 24 hours a day. That saving alone is a reason to build on ICP.

You should do like jack duffley does for his investments. Post your positions, wins, losses and expenses, I'd suspect like your precious metals investments, you're making a loss. I have a very cynical view of crypto and I think my side is growing. The roi, fee's, and lack of usability make crypto a loss market and subsequently snake oil. I'm pro a truly decentralized market (if thats actually possible without it being corrupted), but crypto as it currently is, wont accomplish it, let alone all the marketing hype surrounding block chain, hell the majority of the people promoting it cant even explain what block chain is outside of regurgitating the marketing hyperbole.

How do you like Motoko compared to Rust? Does it make building apps on ICP better? I’m hesitant about Motoko because the job market is not as mature as Rust.

Motoko reminds me of C family programming languages like Swift, it makes extensive use of actors. Rust is similar as well but I think Rust requires much more thinking. I say Rust is more difficult than Motoko

@@cxc I think KAS is worth an investment of at least something. I dont have a ton in KAS right now, only a couple grand. But, if it comes through, it will be huge. KAS is different because it is attempting to be a value/storage system like BTC. There's more to it but I don't want to type a massive message to you. All I can say is that it is deff worth looking into, at least. Right now, it's cheap and not on any major exchanges. But in the next few years, it is one of a few coins that has a legit shot at making a difference in crypto. KAS could be BTC 2.0. It's a ways off, but for like .10-.11 cents right now, it's a good horse to bet on. Even if you only buy like 1k and hold, the upside is massive.

good video, i didnt know much about ICP. unfortunately, its price history is abysmal. i dont think the tokenomics for it are good compared to other layer 1's. it has a lot of competition outside of BTC/ETH to deal with. However it is good to have competition as this drives the speculative market to find niches of interest; that's what happened to solana in 2023. I'll definitely look into ICP more, but for now i'm all in on Kaspa :)

I agree with you, the tokenomics of ICP are terrible. I'm releasing an ICP tokenomics video this coming Monday so you should definitely check that out. I still think that the project that will win however.
