Its the greed of the ppl that,eat more than they ever need.I see that evry time i am fishing in shore. lakes and rivers.Some ppl take even small northern pike, its sad, then they,ask themselves why those trophy ones are long gone...Same goes for wels catfish, walleye and other species.Something has to be done.

That's why we imports fish from Vietnam or Thailand cos in Philippines we let fish to laying eggs for 3months every year, not allowed to fish during the restricted months,

Kapal-kapal asing hasil sitaan biasanya dilengkapi pukat harimau yang sekali tangkap ribuan ikan bisa kena jaring karena hal ini lah kapal dengan pukat harimau sangat merusak ekosistem laut dan biasanya seperti yang sudah-sudah walau diberikan ke nelayan Indonesia secara gratis tapi akhirnya dijual lagi ke pengepul karena lumayan mahal dan dapat duit instan, lalu pengepul biasanya menjual lagi kapal itu ke pengusaha ikan vietnam, filipina atau thailand yang akhirnya kapal tersebut berlayar lagi diperairan Indonesia untuk mencuri ikan dan siklus ini tidak habis jika kapal itu tidak dilenyapkan dari muka bumi. Lagi pula jika dilenyapkan ke laut maka kapal2 seperti ini akan menjadi rumah ikan maka nya sebelum diledakkan biasanya kapal dikosongkan dahulu dari minyak dan barang2 beracun.

Lihat waktu bu susi jadi mentri kelautan serasa negara ini punya martabat, dengan ketegasan bagi pelangar ke laut kita. Tapi sekarang kondisinya sangat memprihatinkan benih lobster saja boleh di exspor padahal waktu jaman bu susi itu di larang karena dilain waktu dapat mematikan pendapatan para nelayan lobster kita. Serasa jamet dan cupu skarangmah wo...lewo jahatmu ora umum🤣

mksudnya berbahaya karena menjadi tantangan tersendiri untuk kepolisian perairan karena wilayah indonesia termasuk kepulauan dan perairan yg sangat luas kadang sangat sulit dan butuh wktu untuk menjangkau apalagi menyergap para pencuri ikan ilegal bhkan dari negara asing dan juga menurut saya indonesia itu sangat kekurangan personil aparat jika dibandingkan dengan luas wilayahnya

Why aren't these ships sunk at a depth were they can serve as dive spots or as artificial reefs to make a home for fish? Especially the vessel Viking. Looks like a nice surf spot. Maybe the idea is to protect for coastal erosion. Idk.

@@johnyossarian9059 Just in this documentary they are. In reality, Chinese illegal fishing boats are just as numerous. However, most are bigger than these ranger’s vessels and probably armed, since they are a part of China’s maritime militia. Again, whole fleets have been sighted in the Galapagos.

@John Yossarian you should look up Peru's interactions with Chineese fishing fleets stealing fish from inside their EEZ's. They've sunk several and the fisherman rescued described slave labor

The future is our children. It's important to control our fish 🐟 stocks around the world 🌎 😀 and conservation sea parks are important to local communities. Also cleaning up our current way of living on land is just as important to keep our seas clean. We must work as a collective effort.?? Starting at home and at our schools educating our children from a young age

Yes true enough that cleaning should start at our home first as the saying goes"cleanliness is next to Godliness".By practicing segregation of biodegradable and non biodegradable waste.Practice bringing along whatever waste you haven't thrown for non availability of thrash bin and not throwing anywhere else specially on the road that might end up on the accumulation of sewerage in those canals.

Well, to put it extremely simple, in the middle of a sea, your ship can not crash into anything. That is safe! Now watch the map of Indonesia. There is no large open ocean. You will run into the next small island or reef before you can say "prima kassy" and then the entire crew dies. And did anybody mention pirats, yet? Besides, pirats are normal human beings, who didn't have much choice. Learn Bahasa Indonesia, maybe it helps when you talk their language. And those government people do have a dangerous job, these young men are brave. No matter your opinion, watch them, they reinforce the law, and that is hard and dangerous work.

Tapi setelah jalan-jalan atau kerja, pulang ke tambak, nelayan dari Bitung baik sekali karena saya pernah mengalami saat nelayan menangkap kami dan membawa kami ke Bitung.
