Why Is China Increasingly Strengthening Its Ties With Türkiye and Arab Nations?

The trade volume between Türkiye and China exceeded 48 billion dollars last year, an example of the rising partnership between the two nations. Now Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan is on a three-day visit to China upon his counterpart's invitation. Topics for discussion include cooperation in energy, transportation and tourism, as well as the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Türkiye's top diplomat met with both China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng in Beijing. The talks focused on economic and commercial ties as well as cooperation on the Middle Corridor trade route that will start from Turkiye and reach China. Fidan also delivered a speech about the two countries' relations in a 'changing world order'. While Beijing and Ankara look to strengthen bilateral ties, China is also trying to do the same with other Middle Eastern nations. Last week, Beijing hosted the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. Countries including Bahrain, The United Arab Emirates and Tunisia participated in the event, where China and Egypt inked deals to deepen their cooperation. These nations also share the same stance on Gaza, as Türkiye and China repeatedly call for a two-state solution to end the crisis.

Nations are now beginning to realize that China is aggressively looking for peace and cooperation. China is happy to provide extra facilities to nations partnering with China at this stage. Refusing is not acting in the interest for its own people. US does not mind bleeding itself as long as they can hurt China as well.

It is about "choice". In the past, USA was the only choice. What it says, goes. Sadly, blind obedience has now created the problems for the world. USA relied way too much on its military prowess to settle issues, and that obviously has led to the many wars we experienced. China is on the opposite end of the spectrum. China carries on its historical trend being a trading nation. It was a global power during the days when the Silk Road linked many nations through trades, and Turkey was one of the destinations. Now the modern day China is revisiting and expanding the ancient Silk Road. So it is more of a natural progression than a quantum leap. Nations now see the stark choice between China and USA. The former brings prosperity and peace, which elevates the standards of living of common people, while the latter brought wars and miseries. Gaza is but one of the many examples of such. I think USA is the proverbial burning the candle at both ends. It burns bright, but soon burns itself out.

Working with China has a lot of benefits and I see them as a humble nation with a lot to offer, but the culture of prestige that people aspire to is still the US and Europe. For example many leaders want to become educated in Western countries and visit there. Even this is changing too, but many in these developing nations still see America and Europe as the pinnacle of civilization.

If you study the history of the United States during its' "Indian Wars", you will notice and realize that the solution to any dispute the U.S. Government had was through the use of military force and threats. They even almost wiped out and brought close to extinction, the immense buffalo herds in North America in their effort to use starvation as a war weapon against the indigenous American natives. When they failed in using the military to subjugate the American Indians, they used guile and trickery instead (leading to the charge that "White man speaks with forked tongue"), laying the path to future conflicts (see "Wounded Knee Confrontation" or "Wounded Knee Occupation" also known as "The Second wounded Knee").

I'm Chinese and any country that has existed for less than 500-1000 years wouldn't be consider a civilisational state by any stretch of the imagination, IMO. @@kindface Most people see it that way. Also western civilization begins with Roman and Greek civilization which has influenced these countries in Europe and America until today. Europe/America has been dominant for centuries and it’s still what most of the elites in developing countries look to as a source of how they should act and how the societies of their countries should be. China is seen more like a partner even though America tries to portray China as some kind of malevolent force. The fact is that China wasn’t very powerful since the Qing dynasty so people don’t really see Chinese as the model they want for their own countries. China still doesn’t have the allure of America or Europe at this point. However, I see that changing quickly. The things Chinese are producing are getting only better and I believe China is only at about 20% of it’s power. China is going to do and invent things in the next century that will change life on earth in ways most people can’t even imagine.

That's is true, dont know why you mentioned it... , but in Türkçe (the Türk language), the letter "ü" does exist., if one was to wonder, while willingly engaging in this topic, I can say, specifically using the letter "ü", while mentioning the involving Place or person, would be first of all correct thing to do and the respectful and appropriate thing to do, then yes that depends on the person's respect and decency they may or may not have for others.
