I was around for the 2012 release people complained about those too. I got my pair 3 weeks after release. People hated them fast forward a few years they became grails. Same will happen to these. Mark my words.

2nd drop came as a sort of surprise here in Oz that it's so readily available and can be bought easily. Got a pair. Up close the upper's more of an off white/light grey. Fit is alright as re-imagines.

I was looking forward to this pair after picking up the bred reimagined. However after seeing lots of reviews and comparing to the materials on the bred reimagined i passed. Personally I just prefer a softer material that isn't comparable to a standard Air Force 1.

Got 2 pairs...I just noticed on the my first pair, although I really like them. They're not symmetrical at all, the nubuck mud guard is cut way higher on the right shoe compared to the left

Mine came with the lower lace loops on the left side a couple of mm offset from the right side. Pretty disappointed about that. Should not have passed qc imho.going try ti ingnore the unequalness since in like them too mucht…. 🤙🏼

The Military Blue 4s are my favorite 4s as well. Same withe the 6s. The Maroons are my favorites.

In wearing the 2019 black cement 4's and 2020 black cat 4's.....those bever broke in for me. The stress areas just made wearing them a terrible experience. So i just went up a half size in these and will throw in a better insole to make up for the little bit of extra space

I never really went back to wearing Jordans after New Balance. You're right, there are levels to this. After I got in my 40's I noticed how not wearing the right shoes will give you back and knee problems you've never had prior. I told myself that this summer will be a Jordan summer since I haven't been wearing them at all, and I gotta say, I'm not looking forward to it. 😢

For me is was how stiff the leather was. Made it feel like a GR Jordan 1 mid. Still a great shoe but materials could have been better.

i hit these on the shock drop in the US, and my pair came in with NO flaws, and they also fit me snug... i was a bit shocked bc everyone kept saying the new shape was better. anyways i now have the 2012 pair and the 2024 pair, so im happy. both are not that comfortable, if that helps anyone out lol.

Excited to get them in hand. Copped 2 to pick the better one and can flip the other for a small discount on mine. Idk why JB disrespects the OG 4s so hard witb the materials though, it's the same on every pair - then a spin off like the reimagined bred gets great materials 🤷♂️ I'd have paid £10 more like the breds for better leather

I like the colorway but if the leather is not nice i ain’t buying them. I hate dunk level coating like on this one. The bred 4s are way much better from leather and comfortwise - will double up on them ! So I don’t agree “Jordan leather had not been nice for a decade “ keep cranking out those videos !!! Cheers

I hit on that Nike drop a few weeks back, there’s nothing wrong w them. I put them next to my 2012 pair and the quality is better than those and it has the Nike Air. Stop complaining about a slight shade of blue darker, get over it.

I think people have a right to speak of the cons just as well as the pros period🤨 If you purchased enjoy them. However if people that have waited on these shoes for so long expected better quality or comfort it is nothing wrong with that. That's like going to a restaurant and waiting for a tomahawk steak over 100.00 and they give you a ribeye. Still a good piece of meat and maybe even taste good, but it is not what you order. If people wanted better quality for a higher price point than let's get it. I passed just because it was not a must. The Bred 4's were to a standard I could live with so I purchased

You can't judge comfort on a Jordan 4 out of the box. It takes a few weeks of wear to break them in. They are a bit heavy and boot like, but once broken in the comfiest retro style Jordan.

Imo 3s are much comfier than 4s. So many 4s kill your pinky toe.

@@Neil-qg9cw 4s kill my toes for the first 3 weeks or so. Then they break in. 3s are definitely more comfortable out of the box though. I find the 3s get less comfortable over time though, as the sole compresses and gets stiff.

Pretty happy for the release of these, as they are the only missing OG colourway in my collection. I'm less happy with the material and quality (control), my SNKRS shockdrop pair came with scratches on the leather and I think that pearloid hue makes the leather look cheapish. Pairs were a lot harder to get than expected, but luckily some shops are still awaiting delivery from Nike, so there is still a chance to get a flawless pair for retail.

Nice vid and greetings from vienna :) Unfortunately these are going to be the new Panda dunks. Soon you will see them anywhere and everywhere. I was so looking forward to them to release but honestly I am not really feeling the colorway of white and the materials are the same shitty leather like we had on the fire red 4s. Not sure I am going to keep or return 🙁 I was at least expecting to get a similar quality like we had on the military black 4s.

The Nike and jordan retro are using outdated tech and the shoes hype is dead, people are looking for more comfortable shoes and in the case of the samba more affordable and available shoes.
