I watched 2 different youtubers review this Space Jam Low... one of them said "Oh I hardly even noticed they did that Jumpman Jam thing - someone pointed it out on my Instagram. No clue why" vs Chris who dives into a history of the release and how this was true to the original before jumping into a deep dive on the carbon fiber shank plate. Its like having your server at Outback tell you a wine to drink vs a sommelier pick and describe the perfect pairing. Chris is a true "Shoemelier"

for the sophisticated sneakerhead, Chris is a must-watch. He loves em all but doesn't hype em up like others. He has the most historical knowledge and artifacts to back it up.

The 11s were everything to me when I was younger. Was born in the late 80s, so too young for the original Jordan models at the time and it’s the 11s that I have the most nostalgia for. So excited for these.

There's not another channel that gives us an unbiased, 100% honest opinion when it comes to sneaker reviews like Wear Testers. So glad I found this place. I really respect the fact that these reviews aren't motivated from the big corporate brands who don't give 2 f**ks about the customers or incentivized to promote a particular shoe or product bc of a sponsor. Just opinions & an honesty coming from someone who loves kickz just like the rest of the culture. Chris won't do you dirty if you ask him about a shoe. If it sucks he'll say so. If it's dope he'll have no issue saying so even if majority of people don't like it. No bandwagoning at wear Testers fasho! Keep it comin' y'all! I'll continue to watch every week

As someone who has only been a sneaker head for a couple years, I appreciate you breaking down this stuff or talk about the history cause I don’t know ANYTHING, I grew up not being able to buy Jordan’s not even knowing they were based on a basketball player because I didn’t have tv, so thank you for educating me on stuff I missed out on growing up!

Man, good video. This is why im a daily viewer. Why i started wearing what I like and opening up my threshold for what I like. Why I ultimately can enjoy sneakers. Im informed, I have a place to discuss a hobby of mine that doesn't die when the hype or the resale market dies. You know how many people I can talk with about this now that the market is down and hype is down? 1 vs. the 7 or 8 in 2020. But I can always count on yall to bring a qualty light hearted, fun convo to the mix.❤

I agree with everyone else. You and @Talks with TJ are the only sneaker reviews that I respect. Tj wears kids sizes so it doesn’t always translate but the reviews are always honest. I’m always gonna check in before I pull the trigger on new shoes because I never purchase in person and I don’t like surprises. You are greatly appreciated bro

For the algorithm! Been here since the days of the hyperfuse and the hyperize (remember that abomination?). I don't play basketball at all anymore so I didn't follow the channel but coming back now I realised that I liked the performance reviews just as much as matching Chris talking about anything basketball related. These Jordan 11 low “Space Jams” look really nice! I love the 11 highs, but I really love the lows especially in the summer time! Hopefully I’ll be able to get my retail pair when they release! Nice review btw!! 👍🏻

Great question of the day , really got me thinking about the possibilities. Too tough for me to narrow down to a sneaker Mt. Rushmore. Slightly different but what i could name is a sneaker golden era , which to me is 1995-1997. Jordan 11s , 12s and 13s - 11s and 12s my all time favorite Jordan models and all game changing releases. Some iconic Air Max models released during that time as well and the Foamposite's OG release. To me those were all ground breaking releases and some of the best ever imo. Also even Reebok's Question and the first Griffey's both released in that time period as well. Those were the days.

I had the OG 2000 pair (Easy double up at the time as I worked for Finish Line) I sold both my pairs some years later when the sneaker game was dormant. Always regretted selling. Every pair released since has failed to live up to those originals. Happy to see the royal and Jumpman Jam back on these, even though they’re lows. I’ll prob cop but still waiting for those OG mids to drop again one day.

My Top 4: Jordan 3 - Elephant print 13:35 and Jumpman Logo, Jordan 5 - 3M tongue and clear bottoms 🤯, SC Trainer 2 - Bo Knows to the next level and Jordan 11 - tech at the highest level. My Top 4 were chosen from seeing them originally drop in the 80s and 90s.

My Mt Rushmore for Sneakers: 1: Converse Chuck Taylor, self explanatory 2: Adidas Samba, still to this day decades later one of the best indoor and all purpose shoes for soccer. 3: Jordan 3, the shoe that saved Nike and made Jordan brand. The tumbled leather. Visible air units. Pull tab. 4: Vans Old Skool, the classic is a classic for what it did for skateboarding becoming the poster child for the brand and standing tall all these decades later

Love the QOTD... and the discussion in this vid about it. Brilliant. Mine would be Chucks to start it, Nike Tailwind for first air, the original Reebok Pump for it's customisable fit tech and the Nike Ultraposite for being such the pinacle of the revolutionarr posite tech they had to bin the product after one run cos they were just scuff magnets. Can't bring myself to put a Jordan shoe on there cos the line up hasn't finished and there is still constant development happening, so one day when we have a final Jordan signature it will need to be a 5th on the mount lol
